Large Salumi Large Cheese Platter | IG: @nomwithelaine

I went here on a Saturday around 6:30pm and there was no wait! Anyways, this bar looked small from the outside, but it was actually quite big once you walk in and we were quickly seated. We ordered the Italiano Pinsa, Fresh Oyster, Bruschetta Prosciutto, Salumi Cheese Platter, Holiday Spritz, Non-alcoholic Spritz, and also ordered a Tiramisu for dessert. Everything tasted good and my Holiday Spritz drink wasn't too strong in alcohol, but that's a good thing. Out of the food items we ordered that day, the Italiano Pinsa was my favorite! The Italiano Pinsa is basically like a flatbread pizza item. I always love trying pizzas, so I enjoyed eating it since that helped fill me up. Also, when you order the oysters, they ask you have many you want since the menu lists the price per oyster. I'd recommend this place! We only chose those small items, but they also serve other items like pasta and and even lamb chops too! All the food I tried that day tasted good, but I think it's nice how theres other more filling items too. This bar also has a few couches to lounge around and I love how it stays open late since that makes it a fun place to hangout.

We were pretty disappointed with this experience overall. We purchased tickets for the truffle event and were seated right away, but then waited about 20 minutes for the first course--which ended up being a single chip with crème fraîche and a small amount of caviar served on a large plate. Waiting that long for one chip felt unreasonable and set the tone for the night. The rest of the courses were just okay, but they also took a long time to come out. You could see the staff running around frantically, which made the whole evening feel disorganized. Since this was a ticketed event and not open to the public, the restaurant would have known exactly how many guests were attending, so the pacing issues were surprising. For the price point, this event was positioned as a high-level dining experience, but it fell very short. A $400+ ticketed dinner simply wasn't worth the cost. We've been to many similar events and high-end restaurants in the past, and this was by far one of the most disappointing experiences we've had. A couple of highlights: the filet mignon carpaccio was delicious, and the truffle pasta was excellent. Unfortunately, nothing else really hit the mark. Several items came out cold, and overall the menu didn't impress beyond those two dishes. Cleanliness was also an issue. The bathroom hand dryer was visibly dirty and full of grime, which didn't give a great impression--especially during a special event where expectations are higher. We won't be returning. This spot seems better suited for wine and small cheese plates rather than a full dining experience. On a positive note, the surrounding area is very cute and walkable. We ended the night at a nearby bar called Sherwood, which was clean, welcoming, and had great cocktails--highly recommend that spot if you're in the area.

This was only my second time here and it did not disappoint in any way! The food, the wine, the service, and the decor were exquisite! Both visits have been consistently great! The owner and her brother are so friendly and welcoming! I think we stayed longer than we had planned because we felt so at home, like we were visiting family! We will definitely be back! Thanks for a great time!

The Cheese Platter was amazing! The service was quick and we did not have to wait long at all! Very nice ambiance when I went inside!

I've frequented Unwine'd quite a few times now since they have opened; from Happy Hour Oysters, to delicious dinners (their lamb riblets are incredible!). When it came time to celebrate my wine-loving, young aunt's 50th birthday, I thought the Lounge at Unwine'd could work. Little did I know just how fantastic it would be... TLDR; amazing food, wine, and staff 10/10 will continue to rave about this place! EVERYTHING for our event from initial communication, from the curated menu, wine list suggestions, customizations, up to the candles on the tables was done with so much care and a personal touch. Katerina, our coordinator is fantastic to work with and truly understood the sophisticated vibe and warm family feel we wanted for our event. Luckily, their space is beautifully designed already so our 1920's themed party worked out very well! Melanie our waitress was very attentive through the whole evening. We had the space to ourselves and plenty of incredible food. Please consider supporting this lovely local family business! One of the best in SF!

Great spot with phenomenal service! Stopped in here for a drink and to have a couple of apps before dinner. It has a great vibe inside and an extensive wine list. We got their bruschetta and prawns and both were very tasty! Don't think you could go wrong with any of the menu items, but when in town will definitely stop by!

Stopped by while we waited for dinner and it was such a cool vibe. Came right before happy hour ended and service was quick! Comfy couches with a dark setting made it a fun wine bar feel. Pretty easy parking in the residential area

Five stars across the board! For Food, service and yes even the ambiance. Unwine'd SF is a lively spot to get a great meal and even better tasting wine! I went for the lamb chops and it did not disappoint. Highly recommended. Our server was polite and made some great recommendations as well. Thanks! The only wrinkle in the evening is looking for parking (if you're visiting the area like us) so getting in to the area early is recommended or use public transit. Overall: Definitely on my short list to try again on our next visit. Do stop by and enjoy!

This is my neighborhood wine bar. Great selection of wine (and other beverages) and food! Plenty of seating (they have another room adjacent to the main area) and great service!

Stopped in for a quick drink at Unwine'd, conveniently located right across from the West Portal Muni station. It's a great spot to unwind after hopping off the train. They serve only wine and beer, and the beer I ordered was nice and cold--just what I needed. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect place to relax.

Fun date night spot and they have happy hour mon-Fri 4-6pm which included some wines and food! We got wine, oysters ($2 each) and a Margarita pizza!

I found this by accident because I was craving for wine that day. I went down on West Portal Station Muni and walked around the stores. Boom! I found a cute wine bar close to the muni line. The oysters are $2 dollars on a happy hour. 6 pieces maximum. I can say it's super fresh, clean an yummy. I love how the vinegar tasted, it's a must for me for my condiments. The wine is also on happy hour I think $2 off? I got a piñot grigio. I came in early around 5:30 pm, and when I left the place is packed. The ambiance is cozy, they have more seating area in the back for more quiet setting. The restroom smells nice and clean.

Amazing Wine Bar, this place is a hidden gem! Tucked away in West Portal, this is definitely a popular spot for happy hour. Their happy hour is every day from 4 to 6 PM. You can get $2/oysters, 25% off HH bottles, $5/beers, and $8/limoncello shots. I haven't had lemon cello shots since traveling to Italy, it's not common to find in San Francisco. However, their shots are delicious! We absolutely loved their wine selection. The co-owners are Italian and Greek, and they have a great selection of old and new old wines to suit your palate. I highly recommend trying the Greek wines because you likely won't get them at too many places. We started off our happy hour with some small bites. The shrimp scampi was so flavorful, the fried zucchini was perfectly battered with a delicious yogurt sauce, and their Greek salad was so authentic and refreshing. We moved on to ordering the lamb chops, and I have to say this is some of the best lamb chops in the Bay Area! Not gamey, super flavorful. Their Roman styled pizza was to die for. I ordered the Emilia-Romagna which had handmade Italian sausage. I'm still dreaming of this cheesy pizza. I was in love! My husband is WSET certified, and he commended their wine selection, and the knowledge of the servers in recommending well balanced wines to go with our meals. They also have a cute little shop area if you would like to purchase any of the wines. Their back room is super Instagram and I heard that it's also available for rent for private events. Highly recommend that you check out this hidden gem! You won't be disappointed. ==== Hi I'm @jetsetjanine. 100+ country world traveler and 100+ Michelin Star diner. Walked in and found the place very nice. You have your bar in front and a combination of chairs and tables throughout the room, with some very nice artwork, atmosphere, and the bathroom tiles were delightful, felt very rustic and modern. There was only 1 worker that day as it was an early weekend, but the service was fast, she was attentive to the patrons that was there and also helped us with only ordering red as we both did not have an interest in drinking white wine. The Charcuterie board options were good, and we got the meat, cheese, and olives (sorry, I forgot which exact ones). It was a great pairing to go with the wine, and I'll definitely be back to try more of their appetizers. This wine bar is hidden from plain view and tucked away in the Excelsior/Outer Mission. Some friends and I discovered this little gem while looking for a place to have a nightcap. Sippin' Wine Bar is located on the second floor of the Bottoms Up Bar, but the vibe is totally different. Not sure if the two bars are actually affiliated, but they are like night and day. The stairs leading up to the bar are lit up and the interior of the bar is just absolutely gorgeous! It's spacious and low lit with an extremely sexy ambience. The decor is just out of this world! They have the cutest tables and sofas. The lamps and artwork are very unique but visually appealing, and the tables are set with candles that create a very sensual vibe. There's a small but adorable little patio where you can relax and get some air. The interior designer deserves a pat on the back AND a few glasses of wine (wink wink). Speaking of wine, they have tons and tons of it! Their selection is extensive and they make it really obvious with all of their lovely wine bottles that are on display. I really enjoyed their Angeline Pinot Noir as well as the Kungfu Girl Riesling. They serve food here as well. We had just come from dinner, but a few of us who shall remain nameless (cough cough) were still hangry and ordered garlic noodles, garlic fries, and tater tots. Yep, somebody's breath was stankin' but it wasn't mine! Although I didn't try any of the food, It smelled wonderful. There was no food left behind, so I'm assuming that it was delicious! The owner Shirley was fantastic! She happily hosted our group and let us sample several different wines from her collection. She mingled with us as well and talked about the business. The bar is still relatively new and opened a little over 2 years ago, so she is still trying to generate more business. I'm hoping that more people will frequent this place because I really enjoyed it and would love to see it stick around. So glad we stumbled upon this spot, and I'm looking forward to many more future visits.

We went on a Friday night, where they had a very loud band playing in the middle of the restaurant. It seemed the only people enjoying the music were the band members themselves. There were people sitting outside, and as they came inside to leave, I jokingly said they must be from up north, as the outside temperature was 55 degrees with a light drizzle. They stated the only reason they ate outside was because they couldn't hear anything due to the band. It's an extremely loud band and a closed space so the music really echo. Unfortunately there is minimal weight staff. I believe that they spent the money on more servers rather than a band, it would be the best business move. Our server came to get our drink and food order, and then didn't come back until it was time to drop off the check. We had a runner come deliver our food, and they forgot the side salad. But by the time our waitress came, we were ready to leave, so we just asked them to take it off the bill. My mom's patty melt was OK, the meat was very thin compared to the slice of bread. My Long Island with also not great. It tasted like a well drink. I would've given 5 stars if the waitress was able to check in on us after we got our food, if the patty melt had better proportions, and my cocktail tasted a little more flavorful.,
