I got the Drunken Noodles with shrimp. I asked for it extra spicy, and it definitely wasn't spicy at ALL. This photo shows the dish before touching it (aside from trying to find shrimp). What a great experience we had at Up Thai last night. First of all, the food was absolutely delicious. Our group of 9 tried 3 different salads and 7 entrees and every single dish was better then the next. The staff here is always very pleasant. I ordered for delivery : the tom yum soup and the drunken noodle (lunch portion). I specifically asked for no mushrooms in my soup which they circled, yet still added. This version of the tom yum soup is not the version i am used to. I did not enjoy it. The drunken noodles were good but not as flavorful/spicy as i've had other places, but they did follow my modification instructions. I will give Up Thai another chance, hopefully next time around it will be more enjoyable. read more

Food was so delicious and very flavorful. We were on our way back from a ski trip and found this in route. So glad we stopped here, we tried the Thai, red, Penang, and green curries and drunken noodles, each one was amazing! Definitely recommend it to all Thai lovers. Also we've been to so many Thai restaurants around NYC (not all are as good), the food here definitely hit the spot. Spent $80 on a delivery order. We addeed pineapple to one dish they up-charged me 4 dollars, after spending 80. When I called them up, I stated you're charging me $4 when I just spent 80? First I want to thank the staff from Up Thai for taking the stress of my family with grace. Long story short - it was a kid catastrophe (first one in my 6 years with kids) so bad I felt like I was trapped in a horrible slapstick family comedy starring Will Farrell. On to the review - I liked the ambience with the tea lights, low lighting, and relaxing music. The place is decorated nicely. We ordered some Thai food to go at about 8:30pm and they closed at 9pm. They told us 10 minutes and we said we were more like 20 minutes away but would be there before they closed. We got there at 8:50pm. They were very nice. The food was packaged and ready to go. We took the food (2 Chicken Pad Thais') and went back to our hotel. I was starving while staying nearby for a wedding reception and their menu was amazing and intriguing. They literally have all the duck. All the duck! So many duck options. So many different protein options. So many different flavor combinations. The food was good so good I pretty much filled up on squid drunken noodles and just moaned a lot from the comfort of my hotel room. The food was so fresh and flavorful that I probably would have made a second trip to the restaurant if it wasn't my last night in town. The food was prepared quickly. There is free parking out front. I have found a new location as a new favorite!! This place is delicious! My sister and I were looking for a new place to dine and we had a ton of wine to kill so we went here since it is BYOB. At first we were hesitant because it was very dead, aka we were the only table, but we did go at a late time. We walked in and got sat right away and they have filter water! (I don't like drinking tap at all) They have great options. We tried the Curry Puff, Salmon Mango, Chicken Pad See We, and Beef Drunken Noodle. Food: Has great flavor. Their food has a great kick. If you don't like spicy mention it so they are aware of it. Although they have a mild option, it still gives a good punch. The Salmon was a little dry but that is perfectly okay because the mango had great sweet flavors. The pad see we, I absolutely love. I use to get it from another location but it starts to miss its touch. I came here and I am absolutely happy to have discovered it. And the Curry Puff, at first I didn't think much of it but once you dip it to the vinaigrette it a different kind of ball game. the Vinaigrette I think was with cucumbers and it has a nice sweet tang flavor that surprisingly melds well the curry puff. You get 3 puffs, so it's more of a small starter or a self starter dish. Great flavors, great portion. I am over the moon with this place We also got the Mango sticky rice and it was a nice light hint of sweetness. It was paired with what I believe was the black rice. It is different and definitely has a great texture. Environment: It is a small place. I can see it being busy very quickly. I wouldn't really advise a Large group to go there but you can always give it a try. This is definitely a cute place for a night out. Plenty of parking in the area. Service: They were so nice. We came around 8:40pm and they close at 9:30pm. They gave us full service and let us know when the kitchen was closing. The food came out nice and quick. The dishes were hot and delicious. They don't deliver but I definitely hope they do in the future. Overall: I found a new favorite Thai place. I can't wait to be back soon and won't be surprised if I am somehow here every week. Stopped in on a Friday afternoon with a group of 5 friends on a recommendation. It's a small restaurant off Tabor Road in a small strip mall but when you find it you will be very happy you did. I hate to be trite, but it is a hidden gem. The ambiance in the restaurant is great, very comfortable and clean and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Plus, it's a BYOB which is a must with our group. There is a small off street parking lot. We all started with the crispy Spring Rolls as our appetizers and for some reason everyone focused on one of the luncheon specials; the Pineapple Shrimp as our entree, even though they have a nice variety if tempting meals on their menu. It was very good, nice size portion and reasonably priced. Everyone in our group agreed that this was a good stop and will have to try it for dinner. Loved the food here. Pickup was safe and easy. The old School Pad Thai was rich and flavorful. The Drunken Noodle had a nice heat to it but it didn't overpower the flavors of the dish. The Se Ew was a nice counterbalance to the first two dishes with its wide noodles and light garlic soy sauce. We all shared and each dish was voted a favorite by one of us. There were only three shrimps which put me off right away. I also requested spicy, but it was not spicy at all, I would describe is as mild to medium. I had to ask for extra chili sauce, which took a few minutes as neither of the servers were looking in my direction. Additionally the noodles themselves were too chewy; clearly undercooked. Food authenticity is good. 4.5 stars !! Restaurent decor is just fantastic, tables were small though. We had one crispy spring roll for starter and two spicy fired rice orders for about $36.5 + tip. Main entree for me Spicy Chili Fish came beautifully presented with full fish skeleton wrapped around the perfectly spiced and crispy strips of Red Snapper. My daughter whose birthday wish was to eat here (after a practice ending at 8!) had the Pad Thai. She's a little bit of an expert on this dish and said it was as good as a restaurant we travel 30 miles to. We had desert that was also delicious but I cannot remember the name. Their fried dumplings special are crisp on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside with a fantastic sweet chili sauce.
