    Love boat x4
    Ryan L.

The sushi at Nikko was fantastic! Very fresh and as you can see in the picture, presented beautifully. Went with a group of 4 and decided to get the love boat for 4, it was more than enough food with some appetizers- we struggled to finish. The service was alright, the wait staff were attentive and moved us to a bigger table once space opened. I will be back at Nikko when in the area!

Havent been to Nikko since i last lived in Morris Plains NJ 17 yrs ago - glad to see the restaurant still offers quality sushi Standard interior layout, booths and tables and two special rooms for intimate traditional Japanese tatami room We enjoyed several fresh sushi rolls including the rainbow roll, rock and roll, spicy salmon, california Over all an enjoyable meal as i remember 17 yrs prior

Stopped by for a lunch special, and great deals and super fresh quality! Very impressed. Got the sashimi lunch special with 5 different kinds of fish. And also the sushi lunch special. Both came with salads. Overall, good spot and fresh fish!

This place is very special. First off, lychee martinis, yes! Lol. Second of all, this place felt so authentic and also the fish tasted so fresh. We ordered Gyu Tataki which was our appetizer. However, they gave a lot of sliced beef! We loved it but we were getting full hahaha. Great app to share. Delicious too! Momichi, which was an amazing roll. I recommend trying it because the flavors were unreal. I couldn't get enough. The white dragon was my next favorite roll. The fish tasted so fresh, Honestly, I never think of that because I just love food haha but this roll made me realize the freshness of fish. Delicious! We also have the pikachu and tuna special. They were yummy but didn't stand out as much as the other two. I'm definitely gonna go again and try more. Can't wait.

This is the freshest sushi restaurant I've ever been too. Consistency every time! The waitstaff is always super sweet and very helpful with the menu. Always my choice spot!!!

Came here with my sister for dinner and it's really cute. Service was very attentive and fish was well prepared. The restaurant is in the middle of NJ and I'm sure it isn't easy to get the freshest of fish. Though everything was well prepared and nothing was old, I could tell some of the fish was previously frozen. Please take that with a grain of salt as I'm used to Chirashi in Hawaii where the fish was probably swimming in the ocean a few hours before.

And when I sat down inside this ultra-casual restaurant - I'm pretty sure that it's a converted residential house - I only saw my fellow diners ordering sushi. So don't come here for ramen; come for an incredibly tasty, inexpensive sushi experience. I had an amazing roll, and let me tell you, the presentation is stunning. It came out sizzling on cast iron, while my server spooned garlic sauce over the top to cook it and add dazzle. Filled with avocado and spicy tuna, the portion would be perfect for sharing with someone. I also had a dynamite roll, which more or less melted in my mouth. I was less wild about the Christian crosses at every table. I'm a secular person. All in all though, Asahi qualifies as a hidden, off-the-beaten-path gem of Parsippany.

When we pulled into the parking lot, we noticed the door was held open with an elastic cord.. which seemed very odd to both my dining companion and I considering the chill in the mid-autumn evening air.. until we walked up the stairs and both noticed the thick smoky haze hanging in the air inside the restaurant. We looked at each other, nodded, and made a quick 180-degree turn, then drove to another local establishment for our ramen fix.

A friend and I decided to try the all-you-can-eat sushi, and it was one of the best dining values I've found in a long time. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. Every dish we ordered tasted fresh and high quality, and honestly, we ended up ordering more than we could finish because everything looked so good. What impressed me even more was the service. We arrived around 4:00 PM and stayed until almost 8:00 PM catching up and enjoying our meal. Spending four hours at a table is not something every restaurant appreciates, but the staff was incredibly patient, welcoming, and never made us feel rushed. They continued to provide excellent service throughout our entire visit. To top it off, we even had dessert, and the total bill for two people was around $80. Considering the amount of food, the quality, the desserts, and the excellent service, I thought it was an incredible value. It's rare these days to find a restaurant that delivers great food, great service, and great value all at the same time, but Miga Sushi absolutely does. I would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend the all-you-can-eat option to anyone who loves sushi. Highly recommended!

We ordered the chicken and shrimp hibachi. As for the hibachi chef he was very dull. Did not keep the table lively at all. Usually we get food thrown in our mouths or a sake stream to keep up with but none of that happened. I will say it was me and my partner and a man and his younger daughter so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt since it was not exactly appropriate for the child. From the wait staff to the bus staff, everyone was running around like crazy. The table next to us, I heard them ask for the manager because they messed up an order with an allergy associated with it. Not good. First things first.. we got out miso soup and my bowl had rice stuck to it on the outside. I thought it was weird but I brushed it off because it was just on the outside. House salad was fine. But one of the women bussing tables tried to bring us a second salad because they were clearly overworked and overly busy. I am currently disgusted because I got to the end of my drink and there was the same old rice at the bottom of my cup as there was on the outside of the miso soup bowl. The sushi was fine. I think it's becoming more noticeable that they drench their rolls in sauce to possibly hide the quality of the fish. I'm not saying it was fishy at all, but wow the sauce is so overwhelming. I got the Elizabeth roll and I had one piece - it had too much sauce so I took some off the top and thought it would fix it. Nope. The entire inside of the roll was so unpleasantly soft and tasted like sauce and mayo.. I am still nauseated thinking about that bite. I didn't taste any piece of fish. I am so so disappointed. The seafood pancake had very long strands of squid which were hard to chew through. Another time that I ordered the seafood pancake. Everything was chopped up in small bites and it was a much more pleasant experience. Lastly.. they bussed our table and left our half eaten food on the floor next to us because I guess they were so busy they forgot about it. It was very chaotic in there last night.
