Still one of my LA favorites and highly recommended pizza parlors. Came in yesterday to pick up two pies to go. Always good pizza and friendly customer service.

There's a lot to like about upper crust... thin crispy crust, not salt, tasty pizza. Service was fast and friendly for pick up. However, they were light on the toppings, and we the 2 of us were still hungry after eating a large.

We stopped by Upper Crust Pizzeria to pick up some pizza to-go. Love the double entendre name. The place is pretty cute and there are some tables and chairs to sit at if you want to eat there. They have an open kitchen which I always appreciate. You order up at the counter when you walk in. The pizza slices are not on display which is a little strange. They do have a water dispenser at the register which is a nice touch. They also have a rewards program. We ordered some slices of margarita and a slice of cheese to go. After waiting just a few minutes, I decided to get a second slice of cheese to-go. We waited a very long time to get our order. The people behind us in line, who were eating in, received their pizzas before us. We were first in line when we walked in so it wasn't like we were waiting for someone else. We had to go feed the meter a few times. When I asked what was taking so long and why the people behind us were served first, we were told that it was because I came back and ordered a second slice of cheese. In my humble opinion, a slice of pizza should only take a few minutes to warm and pack unless they were making it from scratch which I doubt was the case here especially with the cheese slice. I've never had this experience before at a pizza shop. I will say that the cashier did make it up to us by giving us an extra slice of cheese to go. The slices of pizza were generous. The toppings tasted very fresh. I appreciate that they use ingredients that are never canned or frozen. The sauce was tasty. However, I did not care for the dough. It's a thin crust but it was very chewy. I prefer a crispy, crunchy thin crust pizza. My pizza was also lukewarm which was strange as I did not have far to travel and we ate it right away. I'm glad I gave Upper Crust Pizzeria a try but I did not feel like I got an "upper crust" experience here. Metered parking on the street.

Selling by slice. I got a cheese slice - the portion is huge, crispy dough, ingredients are well balanced. The taste was good, nothing mind blowing. A solid slice. $5.20 for a slice in BH / give me 2! Service was friendly and fast. They play some music, interior is cool. Recommended

Pizza was okay, I was expecting a little more from this place in regard to their pizza. It was burnt on the crust which is always my favorite part. The red sauce tasted unseasoned as well :(. Staff was very nice and the pizza does look good just was a huge let down.

Pizza was good and toppings were generous! Wouldn't say it's the best pizza I've had but will likely be back since it's close to home and service was quick

We stopped by after visiting the observatory. We ordered a large and medium pizza and the large was absolutely huge. I felt bad leaving all of that great pizza behind but since we still had a lot of stuff to do that day. The pizza was excellent; fresh toppings and great crust. The middle of the large was a little floppy because it was so massive. That one had to be eaten with a fork and knife.

Had to try some local pizza and got a big slice of cheese. It was definitely NY style you had to fold it to eat it and the flavor was right on. Cooked nice and crunchy for the crust it was good! 3.95 for the cheese slice isn't too bad either. Staff was very friendly and there is tables both indoor and out front. Parking might be a little more challenging with how busy the whole neighborhood is.

I ordered delivery, to their credit it was about 20 minutes before closing so I understand how that might be frustrating but the pizza lacked love. First I paid for extra cheese and I can say that it did not at all have extra cheese. Next the pizza could have been cooked a minute longer give it that crust and no flop. The pizza is thin crust. I was not a fan of the dough or the pizza sauce but they had great quality cheese that was not oily or heavy. That part was great. I also ordered some chicken fingers. Nothing to rave about, I wouldn't try that again. Ultimately I'll give this place one more shot.

This is my new favorite place for pizza! I came here by accident because I usually go to Urth Caffe next door and decided to give it a try. The slices are so good -- very thin crust pizza that rivals my usual NY-style go-to places around LA. They state that they make their pizza with fresh, never frozen ingredients and I have to say the freshness and flavor are noticeable. Love the taste of the crispy crust, the delicious tomato sauce and the nice saltiness of the real cheese on top. They sell whole pies, but I love getting slices here for only around $4 each. I can't wait to try their wings because they're all baked! This is rare as usually wings are fried and I love that this is a healthier option that also looks delicious. They're open late (especially for Beverly Hills), have great friendly customer service, and a clean women's bathroom!

The link to the business on yelp sent me to a platform where delivery was applied. I messaged the business owner about this, and he informed me that can be the case depending on which platform is used to place the order. He suggested I use this link: https://www.toasttab.com/upper-crust-beverly-hills-ca. The pizza was super thin, crispy and HUGE. The chicken wings I ordered was plain, but it was still packed with flavor. I placed an order for extra marinara sauce, which I dipped the crust in. The delivery arrived right at the requested arrival time. I'll be trying this place again in the near future.

We were seated inside, towards the right past the kitchen, and it was very tight. The tables next to us were almost uncomfortably close. The restaurant felt a bit more fancy with dim lighting, but it would get quiet where it would be awkward to speak because everyone could hear what you were saying. We did not love the vibe of this location. After we were seated, we were greeted by our waiter. My partner started with the Strawberry Margarita, but the waiter commented negatively and recommended against it. Regardless, my partner really wanted it and proceeded to order it. The waiter's comments seem a bit uncalled for, and it tasted fine. The waiter also didn't offer bread, so we asked for wheat. Unfortunately, it was on the tougher side & not the usual soft and warm bread we love. Eventually, we ordered our food and I chose Fish and Chips. Our food took a very long time to come out, about 45mins-1hr, with little communication from the waiter. Several tables that ordered after us got their food first and some even left by the time we got ours. We believe the waiter forgot to place our order because he asked to "reconfirm" our order after we already waited a while. I understand that it can get busy and wait times can be long especially on weekends, but I think some things could have been avoided or done better. We did not love the service here. The table next to us complained about the same waiter to a manager as well. I will say the food was good and the portion sizes were fantastic. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this location. I haven't had any issues at The Grove location so will prioritize going there in the future. Parking: Paid street parking nearby.

The setting is lush, elegant, and wonderfully peaceful, with the terrace overlooking the gardens and pool area. We randomly ended up here after being in the hot sun shopping Beverly Hills. Such a nice relief. We started with the bread, which was simple but delicious, then had the strawberry gazpacho, a refreshing and unexpected summer dish that felt light, bright, and beautifully presented. The corn agnolotti was a standout, rich and delicate with that perfect balance of sweetness from the corn and savory depth in the sauce. The bolognese was comforting and satisfying, a classic done well, and the Caesar salad was fresh, crisp, and but not presented as a traditional Caesar. It is two romaine wedges. We ended with the chocolate mousse and it was a lot of food. Maybe better to share as the portions are generous. The food, atmosphere, and service made it feel like a true Beverly Hills escape. Service was slow, they assumed we wanted everything at once, and some of the food was subpar and definitely not on point. Because we asked for our "breads" after 30 minutes just to get started, they though we suddenly wanted everything (our breads being scones and a cinnamon roll). We should have stated or they should have asked, would you like us to bring everything out at once or the small plates first. First miss. Eggs Benedict was bland, under seasoned, and english muffins like two plastic frisbees. Second miss. Slow service and attitude of server not the friendliest, third miss. Table service was slow/inattentive. We had to ask for silverware on more than one occasion. Service seemed somewhat more disorganized than usual (it's usually a little disorganized, not always great).
