UPDATE: I went back for my tattoo and it turned out more than amazing. Joey nailed what I was looking for and then some. I got a huge piece on the side of my leg from knee to ankle and I am so excited that I found him.... ORIGINAL: My sister in law and niece received a memory tattoo today of their recent loss and the pieces turned out absolutely amazing. Joey took his time explaining and giving his opinion. His pricing was reasonable. During the time I was waiting there, I asked if he could fix a tattoo on my back that another artist said could not be fixed and he grabbed a marker and showed me how he could make my tattoo simply stunning without altering the full tattoo. I have already setup a session for my next masterpiece and revision with him. I can't wait to go back. Joey is definitely a great artist and I will refer everyone I can to him.. I came in from Washington and gave the uso a call.he said come right in.we discussed my design had a good time n got to work.im so pleased with the that work that was performed and professionalism I brought my wife back the next day to get her something.she loves her piece and the artist made her feel like family so much that we just got home on September 6th and are returning back on October 1st just to get more tattoos from our ohana at uprising ink.we cant wait to for our next trip,taking our 21 yr old son and his girlfriend this time to experience the traditional proficiency that we experienced. I originally called to inquire about their services and informed the artist of the tattoo that I wanted....he told me that he'd have another artist text me...Ashley texted me right away to get the details of the tattoo that I wanted. Then, we scheduled my appointment. Which she filled me in for yesterday, the day I was adamant about getting the work done! This place is such a clean place, great energy, and beautifully decorated. This is a great place to get a tattoo. The location is fantastic and near the airport. Wether you are looking to get a small tattoo or a full sleeve, this place is where it's at. The people here are nice and they give you the full treatment of hawaiian hospitality. They treat you like family. The one who did my tattoo was Joey Asasen and he did an amazing job! New shop, but artists here are very experienced and do excellent quality work. Nice clean shop, located near the airport. Bronson is a very talented artist with excellent shading, clean lines and does noting but QUALITY work. He's down to earth and makes you feel at home.
