I got miso soup (4.25/5), the volcano roll (4.5/5), and hibachi chicken, shrimp, and tofu (5/5)…read more The miso soup was good but nothing too special. We loved how crunchy the dynamite roll was. I loved my hibachi proteins; they were better and a lot larger portions than dedicated hibachi places. Everything was cooked great; the shrimp and tofu had a nice, semi crunchy sear on them, and the veggies and chicken were also flavorful and tender. The fried rice was ok; I didn't notice any egg. The food was ready super quick; I was very impressed how fast they got it all out (5/5). The interior is clean and simple (4/5). Overall, for a fast casual place, this is hard to beat!

Got the grilled chicken & steak, which was solid. The grilled chicken had a great char flavor, while the steak tasted like something you'd eat at a hibachi restaurant. The fried rice wasn't oily or dry, best part was how's the portion was. Got a side of 6 piece gyoza which was meat and vegetable filled; that was also non oily and fried just right. Took about 7-8 minutes for the order to come out which was a fast then around. Plenty of room for dining & facilities were pretty clean. They also have other menu items like bubble teas and ramen. Definitely a diverse menu, will certainly be back.

Review for Sarah & Tinleigh at Clean Eatz…read more This was my first time visiting Clean Eatz last week, and Sarah and Tinleigh immediately made the experience welcoming and smooth. Even though they are young, both were extremely professional, kind, and helpful in showing me everything I needed to know. When I returned today, Sarah once again went above and beyond. She personally brought my food out to my car. As she approached and saw I was on the phone, she kindly said, "I don't want to scare you, just bringing your food to you," with the biggest smile. That simple moment showed how thoughtful and customer-focused she is. Both Sarah and Tinleigh create a friendly and caring environment that makes you want to come back. I really appreciate their service and positive energy.

I forgot to take a picture, but I got a quinoa and kale base with shrimp and extra salmon (3/5)…read more The main protein is a lot; the 8ozs they claim is legit! However, the shrimp and salmon were quite bland. Also, they gave me a rice base instead of the quinoa and kale one, and there was barely any of it or the toppings. It was a sad bowl but had a ton of protein and dressing, which made it better. However, my partner liked their salmon wrap (4/5), so maybe the bowls just aren't good. On the way out, I grabbed some of their dark chocolate fudge, which was really good (5/5); it's just dark chocolate chips, peanut butter, and some honey, so it's not too unhealthy. Besides giving me the wrong base, the service was incredibly slow (about 20 minutes or so when we were the only order); they might have had to make the proteins, but that still doesn't explain the entire wait, especially for a fast casual place (2/5). The interior is clean (4/5).

Well, here I am in "The Deep South" in Augusta, South Carolina waiting to go to the Masters…read moreTournament tomorrow in Augusta, Georgia. Rae's Coastal Cafe is my usual first stop restaurant for some scrumptious vittles south of the Mason-Dixon Line. Our Jerk chicken wings were a great start for our first dinner on this adventure. Our (us three golfers) salads were good. Our crab cakes were very good! Our chocolate pudding pie was great. My three fingers of Makers Mark was excellent. We sat outside by their lake where the peace and quiet were throughly enjoyed. Our waitress was friendly and helpful choosing the combinations that made this dinner delightful.

Rae's was recommended to us by a long time Augusta resident. I'm glad we went to try it out, but…read moredoubtful we'd go back. We loved the divey, local vibe. Fun, comfortable environment. Server was lovely and everything arrived in a very reasonable amount of time. Food was a 3. No more. The shrimp and grits were really a big miss. I read where it said casserole and I was fully expecting a new (for me) twist on shrimp and grits - but it was not good. Dry baked grits with maybe three shrimp total and a few tiny piece of crab. No sauce, no cheese on top - nothing. Was very very odd indeed - more like cornbread or spoon bread with zero flavor. My husband ordered a steak and it was good, so there was some redemption there. I will say, one major restaurant pet peeve for me is when the first thing you smell when you open the door is air freshener. The bathrooms are right by the door and they have a fake cherry air freshener smell pumping out from them. So that's what you get hit with when you walk in. I don't know the solution to this type of layout, but strong air freshener isn't it.
