Service and food here were both great! Unfortunately it's a little small so it's not ideal for a group if you want to dine in, especially because it seems so popular. There's one large table that's maybe good for a family and then a couple of smaller tables and a counter, so there IS seating just very limited. I got the dirty matcha and the breakfast burrito - both delicious! My sweet tooth wanted the matcha to be sweetened but that was my miss for not asking. The burrito was pretty filling and I was stuffed after eating both halves of it (there were 2 others in my group who also got the burrito and they could only finish half). Would recommend for a quick brunch - they have other lunch offerings too, which were available during the breakfast hours!
Uptown cafe is the best cafe around nova. They're a family owned business and you can tell they love what they do. They provide exceptional service to everyone and their food is amazing. Every dish I've tried has been delicious. They have a huge variety of sandwiches and bowls as well as drinks and pastries. There's plenty of seating inside and outside. They have a cute little smiski collection at the register which is adorable. This cafe is the perfect spot for lunch. 10/10
Uptown Cafe definitely exceeded my expectations. The online ordering was a little odd to me because they use Shop, which I associate with retail not food, but it all worked out. The man working, presumably the owner, was so kind and helpful when I came in to pick up my order. The food being wrapped in newspaper is cute and I like that the menu isn't too stacked, makes choosing easier. I ordered the chicken fajita wrap and I couldn't recommend it more! They really stuff these wraps, making them super filling as well as flavorful. It's a great price point and I'd definitely recommend coming here!
First time, won't be last. I love me a good Korean deli that's well run. Uptown Cafe has all the hallmarks- fresh ingredients, clean interior, fusion items, Korean handwriting on signs, etc. I placed an order online and when I went to pick up, the owner? Manager? Was conversing with the girl in front of me and he remembered her order. The cafe is adjacent to an apartment complex and seems to be a hub for its residents. It's also directly across from from Sedona Taphouse. I got a California wrap no ranch, add chipotle sauce. Delicious! I thought cucumbers in it would be weird but it was actually really refreshing and added a nice crunch. My friend got the chicken panini which was also delicious but not as good. I thought the bread was just okay. Both were assembled well with even layers of ingredients throughout. Next time I want to try the jerk chicken bowl everyone seems to be raving about. I will be back again!
We visited this place while leaving the Marriott conference center and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The place is small but very clean, priced well, great portions and the food was amazing. The special of the day was grilled onion beef Sliders and they were to die for. They were so good that I wanted to order more for our 3 hour drive home. We also ordered the chicken panini which was very good. If I lived in this area I would visit this Cafe very frequently.
First time visiting and the owners im guessing who were at the front were super inviting and kind. They gave us some recommendations on what's popular and about their specials that rotate and gave us the menu so it's easier to look at then the big board behind them. It's clean and bigger than you may think with seating going down the little hallway on the side. It takes a bit of time for them to make the order but that's because its all made fresh and comes out hot! Would love to return to try more of their menu and their famous breakfast burritos. Steak and cheese sub - Similar to a philly steak and cheese roll but better! meat was soft. everything was seasoned well. Perfect amount of sauce and cheeese that added the great flavor but not too much so it wouldn't feel so heavy. Good veggie amount to balance. 3.5/5 Carribean Jerk Chicken - Taste kinda like a healthier chipotle. Chicken was cooked great but i do wish it had more seasoning. Toppings are good but would love if it had a little extra something like spicy to bring the flavor up! 2/5 Fries - Very hot and fresh. great crispiness and fluffy potatoes inside! seasoning was good too. 3.25/5
We absolutely love Uptown Café! My wife and I visit often, and it's always a treat. The food and drinks are consistently delicious, and the warm welcome from the owners--a wonderful couple--makes every visit feel special. Their breakfast burritos are hands-down the best in town, and this cozy spot is the perfect pick-me-up any day of the week.
So glad we stopped here on our way out of town because of all the great reviews. We walked in and were warmly welcomed by a man behind the counter. He asked us if it was our first time here. When we told him yes, he went on to explain the menu, etc to us. I picked the California Club wrap to go and had the ranch dressing on the side. My wrap was very fresh tasting and neatly made. It was easy to eat. If I am in the area again, I would not hesitate to come back to this Uptown Cafe's Westfields location for a sandwich, wrap, panini, or bowl.
Visited Uptown Cafe this weekend for brunch, where both their breakfast and lunch menus were still available. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly welcomed--by who I assume is the owner. We probably looked a little lost while scanning the menu (because we were), so he kindly gave us insight into the most popular items, which we really appreciated. I ended up going with their well-loved breakfast burrito and a white mocha iced latte. The burrito did not disappoint--in fact, it was beyond excellent. It was packed with flavor, yet surprisingly light, and unlike most breakfast burritos, it wasn't greasy or oily at all (no messy spillage!). As for the white mocha, it was exactly what I expected--delicious and satisfying. The cafe itself is super cute, though I will note that indoor seating is limited. Most tables are set for two, with one table for three, and there's a high-top bar that could fit a group of four, though that doesn't seem to be its main purpose. However, I heard there are plenty more seating options outside when the weather is nice, so I'll have to come back and check it out. I highly recommend stopping by this cafe (they also have fresh pastries!) and trying a breakfast burrito. Plus, the owner and his family are the sweetest people.
This is it.... Look no further because this place has possibly the best breakfast burrito in Chantilly. You can tell the burrito is made with love because it's packed with flavor, stuffed with fresh ingredients, and made to order. The staff is also incredibly nice, friendly, and efficient. I waited probably 5 mins in total which made the whole experience much better.
I'm not sure what all the hype is here, but my experience was pretty disappointing. The Caribbean Jerk Chicken bowl looked and sounded interesting, so I had to try it. I've had plenty of jerk chicken and there was no taste of the seasoning in this one. Although the vegetables in the bowl were fresh, it was topped with a bit too much chipotle sauce, which ruined it even more. I will say that the portion of the bowl was decent, though. My latte was also mediocre. They didn't have oat milk either. The staff who took my order looked like the owner or manager and he wasn't the friendliest nor was he trying to be helpful.

This Uptown Cafe location has been open for a couple of months. It's located right off of Westcroft Blvd - part of a small pod of businesses in front of a residential high-rise community. And don't confuse this Uptown Cafe with the one just down in the road in the basement level of the General Dynamics building. They are two different businesses (I asked). The owners of this Uptown Cafe used to have the business located down the road in Centreville proper. It has a "Centreville" address - but its a whole lot closer to Chantilly. Rolled in for breakfast this morning - ordered the breakfast burrito. Food came up quickly. I opted to eat in - there is a limited amount of seating - there is long bar with stools running along one window - and a couple of tables beyond that. Paid with Apple Pay. Currently Soft-Opened. Amazing salads, subs and sandwiches. Their coffee is so good as well. They will be having their officially grand opening on May 31st, 2023. Their Salamon Poke was so fresh and tasty. Must try !!! They were originally located in Trinity pkwy next to lifetime in centreville. They moved over here and are finally opened. The Hawaiian salmon poke bowl is absolutely the best. The salmon, crab, cucumber, mango, rice and sauce all blend for the most delicious bite. The dumplings are always cooked perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft and filled with flavor on the inside for $6. The family who owns this place are all the most friendly and welcoming people. I have been there every 3-4 months (as I live out of state) and the gentleman at the counter always remembers me and my order! read more
We've eaten and grabbed coffee here a few times as we live conveniently in the same neighborhood. The family-owned cafe always has an affordable, tasty special of the day. Today, they have a Korean bulgogi banh mi sandwich with French fries that was absolutely tasty. The French bread was exactly what you'd expect: crusty, yet thin; the pickled veggies and Mayo went so well with the marinated Bulgogi. Definitely something we hope they rotate on their menu again! Note: sadly, there was a patron complaining to the owner that she "preferred longer cut fries" (they don't hand-cut them on site, therefore they're at the mercy of their vendor) who stormed out after her loud proclamation. I've never written yelp review before, but our experiences at Uptown Cafe have convinced me that I need to share its greatness with everyone else! We have visited uptown cafe three times now and have LOVED it. First, the service is great and the folks who work there are always so friendly. Second, the food is SO good. I get the fried tofu bowl (pictured) and my partner has tried the poke bowl and the cheese steak. Everything we've eaten has been fantastic and uptown cafe is now our go to spot for a quick lunch! read more

I ordered the Uptown Breakfast Burrito and it was so delicious, filling and juicy - I'm definitely going to come back for it! It was a great combo with the hot americano that I ordered. Also I've never wanted to support a business this much before from how kind and genuine the staff were to me and my family when we visited. Michael and Sunny are local treasures! They make all their customers feel like they're the only ones in the room. So glad to see every review is 5 stars. They deserve nothing less. We used to frequent Uptown back when they were by the CarFax building in Centreville. We were bummed when they closed but so happy they reopened and that we finally found and reconnected with them. As soon as we walked in, we knew we'd love it. It was absolutely delicious and very fresh. We ordered the club wrap and the salmon poke bowl.Forget to get a pic of the salmon bowl but omg so good. Came back this morning and got the K-Breakfast Sandwich. I don't think there's anything that isn't good there. Owners are so nice, attentive and it's a cute place. 10/10! If you're looking for delicious eats, best iced lattes, and good vibes, this is the one! The customer service being above and beyond alone makes this place a hidden gem. I've tried pretty much everything on their menu including their daily specials and my favorites are Caribbean Jerk Chicken, K-BBQ (Bulgogi) sub, and K-BBQ bowl. Pair it with iced vanilla latte (w/ oat milk) and you're in for a treat!!! so yummy!!! read more
