I loved this store! I usually don't shop at second hand stores I love new clothes lol! However, they have so much fun stuff and a ton of accessories! I got really cute cowboy boot earrings and several sunglasses and a Lakers hat for my son! I even got to resell a couple Free People tops I had and never wore so I was able to use the $ I got for that towards my purchase! I can't wait to come back. read more

Frequented the Uptown Cheapskate back when I lived on the east coast so wanted to check this place out! 3 stars because the place was clean and tidy for being what it is, but it has a horrible smell that I couldn't get past - like stinky old clothes/feet. Barely made it to see they had some Lulu stuff - $35-45 for leggings. Also saw North Face and some other more notable labels but the smell.. read more

Decided to check this place out as I get back into thrifting. I spent about $210 and got an excellent selection of items (not all shown in pics). Staff are nice, everything is super organized by size and color and they pay attention to the seasons. I didn't have to comb through loads of winter stuff for a spring haul. 10/10 will be back! read more

A little annoyed. I just went in and right away the girl goes "are you here to sell?" I said yes and she goes it will only be store credit today -- I asked why she said the banks are closed and tomorrow same thing due to the holiday.. I'm sorry but as a retail store you guys should be prepared to have cash from the bank for Sundays and holidays. People come in for wanting to trade in clothes for cash not store credit. Also the shorter girl with black hair kind of gave me an attitude when I was trying to understand why they can only do store credit and explained it to me with a sass. How am I suppose to know your bank details? I don't work at the store. read more

I love shopping and selling here! For Sellers: keep in mind they buy clothes that are in style, trendy and in season. The process is easy, you check in on the tablet and then the associate will tell you how long the wait will be. You do have to wait in the store, so keep that in mind. After they will call your name and explain to you if they will buy anything and how much they'll offer you and you get store credit or cash. **They only offer store credit on Sundays!!! ** On their Instagram they'll post what they are looking for so you are aware of what to bring in. For shopping: they have a large array of clothing, shoes, bags and accessories. Keep in mind just like a thrift store, you'll be there a while going through the clothing. You'll find some neat and unique pieces for a good price here and there. Like noted before, they sell clothes that are in style, up to date trends and in season, so keep that in mind while shopping. The front racks will usually have items in season, the right side of the store is dedicated to men clothing and the back of the store they'll have themed items like Designer and Disney. They have a nice array of items from lounge, street style, casual to long dresses for school dances or special events and bathing suits for the summer. They have sticker sales where certain color stickers have a different discounts. *see photos* Overall the store is well kept and the staff is kind and helpful. I've found some staple pieces for my wardrobe here and I love doing my part in helping the planet a little by recycling clothing. read more

3 stars for combined buying and selling experiences. First, I have shopped here for a few years and have bought some great finds. Nice store, prices are good IMO, friendly employees. Came for the 1st time & bought in items to sell, no waiting, 2 nice young men to help. I read on their socials and website the items they're taking in, which includes seasonal clothing, specific designer brand names, etc. Some of my items were accepted including 2 pairs of Vans, Nike kicks, 3 MK handbags. Happy with the payout. I'm realistic enough to know that they wouldn't take in everything I brought in and also don't feel like I over-did it with the quantity of items. However, they did not take any of my clothing items - which btw are in great condition. This includes name brands they advertise as taking, i.e. Zara, Lululemon, Athleta, Adidas, another pair of Vans (with a design). One romper & couple of other items that my 25 y/o self would def wear (no I'm not 25). I'm sure I'm not the only one who is shocked that some of our items are accepted, but not exactly clear on their acceptance policy. I don't get not accepting designer athletic wear. However I get seasonal, I get trendy, I get the demographic they sell to, yet it seems like they cater to teens or 20-somethings only. None of which I am but as someone with a career in sales & marketing and one who thrift shops, our age group shops at these stores too, not just younger individuals. IMO a lot of sales are being missed to a slightly more mature group by not taking some of our items, mine of which I consider "current". I'm not sure if I'll return in the Fall to sell seasonal items, but will remain a buyer. I agree with some of the other reviews here with regard to selling and not taking in what is posted as trendy labels, yet...I do respect the process. read more

Absolutely terrible experience. I came to sell and completely wasted my time. I had atleast 50 items and they only bought one pair of sneakers. The reasoning "we only buy casual clothes and sneakers " "there are some nice items, but they won't sell here" . Honestly, the selection and organization in that store is terrible. They should start buying nicer and less casual clothes, it would increase business. I've gone to Uptown's all over the country and have never experienced this. Truly motivated to start my own resale store in the area so there are nice options for us thrifty fashionistas because this is not going to cut it. read more

I WAS a Loyal SELLER for almost 5 years and had NO problems....UNTIL...I drove half hr to sell my Upscale Clothing and Shoes.... As soon as I walked in some little Troll behind the cashier said "I was NO LONGER ABLE TO SELL MY CLOTHES THERE!! I Was in Shock, as I ALWAYS had a Good Relationship with most of their employees...so I thought!! Especially past Mgr Emily... They wouldn't tell me WHY I couldn't sell anymore and said the New Mgr told them this!! I asked to speak to Mgr or at least their name...they REFUSED to give me the Mgrs name! What a bunch of Cowards!! This place is the Biggest Ripoff as I'll have a Brand new Nike Sweatshirt and they'll give $4.00 and Sell it for $30!! Anyone know IF it's Legal to NOT let me sell my own Cleaned Laundry clothes without NO REASON whatsoever!! WTF?? They actually kicked me and my Autistic Son out of Hell Hole for no reason...I wasn't raising my voice or anything....so proud of how I handled this Total Fiasco!! I came in today from around 2:30-2:50pm selling a bag of my clothes. As the girl behind the counter was sorting through my stuff, my mom and I were looking at the rest of the store. I happened to turn to look at her, and when I did I saw her take the brand new Doc Martins ribbon shoelaces out of my bag and put them behind the counter, with what looked like a personal notebook and AirPods. After I saw that, I stayed next to the counter to watch to see if she was going to place anything else in that area. Once I was called up to cash out, I asked if I could see what items they were taking, and none of the items were the shoelaces I saw her take. I asked politely, "What about the shoelaces?" and pointed to where they sat. She immediately got flustered and said that she had contacted her boss to see if they were "able to take them," but they couldn't and she placed them back in my bag. I know she didn't contact her boss and I was watching her from the time I saw her take the laces. After I cashed out, I left. So, if you're planning on selling here, make sure you know EXACTLY what you're taking, or a few things might be missing from your bag that you might not notice! read more

I had a good experience selling some clothing here, I think people just need to have the right expectations. I wasn't expecting to get top dollar for used items. It was a little less than I was hoping for, but I'm still satisfied, thank you guys! My only observation when I was waiting for them to buy my items, is that they charge quite a bit for the clothes they sell considering the condition they're in. Many things had stains, rips, and/or were completely worn out or dated yet they were priced for about what I could find them for brand new (or marginally less). So, it seems like they won't give you the real value for your clothes but expect to sell you the items for a high price. But hey, I'm not sure of their profit margin or business model and how much is costs to run a place like that. Overall, I'd say just sell your items and think twice before purchasing something there you can find new or on sale elsewhere. Also, make sure you have time or aren't in a rush, it wasn't bad but did take about 30 mins today. read more

The workers were not very polite, they were constantly making jokes and being obnoxious. They give very little money for the clothes that you donate and mine were in good condition and from well known stores. I was very disappointed with the service and I don't think I will be selling clothes here anymore. read more

Honestly, I'm sick of going here and giving them my business. I'm come in and have given them clothes to sell, clothes to "donate to Laura's House", and have bought things in return. I've been nothing but supportive and each time I come in, I'm made to feel more like a nuisance than anything else. And each time it's a specific sales associate. She's an older woman a terrible attitude. Recently came in to sell some clothes. I walked in, she immediately was dismissive about the clothes I brought in and really tried every excuse to disregard me. First it was, "We have a limit on buy ins." Then it was, "We only take certain clothes." And once she started going through my stack, she just took them and threw them in massive pile and said, "All of these are old, tattered, and more for the elderly. I'll just save you the time and pass on everything." Ironic, because about half of them were items and brands I've bought specifically from this store... Then, as if I thought it was personal, I witnessed her do the exact same thing to the two other customers behind me and then went straight back to folding clothes by the fitting rooms. This sales associate could not care less about doing her job and seemed too excited to be finished with her shift. Every time I've brought clothes in of different styles and genders, all in great condition and relatively new, I'm told they'll only take a "small amount" and offer me like $10... They don't care about their customers and quite frankly, I'm over doing "business" with them. Especially the rude, woman. Horrible customer service. Shop here at your own discretion. read more

i went in on a saturday morning to sell clothes and i arrived just as the store was opening when a middle age employee with long blonde hair was yelling at a man that wanted to sell clothes. all i heard her say was "i've already had a busy morning i don't have time to deal with you now" which was already off putting. then there were two ladies in front of me who wanted to sell clothes and the rude employee insisted she sell their clothes together even though the customers clearly said they were not together and asked many times to sell their clothes separately. the employee would not budge and continued to be rude to them. i didn't trust myself to be in that store any longer without saying anything to her. i can't stand watching people be cruel like that for no reason. i called later asking if the owner was in so i could tell her about the situation but was told the owner was not there. i am hoping the owner sees this so they know how awful this employee treats customers. read more

I had bad experiences here a few years back when selling clothes. I had brought never worn Brandy Melville and watched them pay me half then double the original prices to put on their racks. Regardless, I came looking to shop this time and was met with Forever 21 clothing at 3x the price and fake designer. I guess if you're in middle or early high school, you might find something wearable here. But in my opinion it's just a store full of pleather and polyester. Employees were nice though! read more
