Cute space! There's a drum set and piano inside which was neat. The servers seemed aloof or not interested, but it didn't bother me. My husband got a cold brew which he liked a lot. I got the iced tiramisu latte. It was okay. A bit too on the sweet side for me. I still finished it because I wasn't about to let $11 go to waste. It came with a ladyfinger cookie which was a cute touch. Unsure if I'd come back; maybe if I was in the area again. But that's me. I still recommend others give this place a shot. Oh...pretty much street parking only.

This place delivered delicious, well-balanced coffee with intense flavor-seems like a contradiction, I know, but trust me, it's not. I ordered the cinnamon latte. It wasn't too sweet, and was prepared perfectly - a first! I was impressed because cinnamon in coffee is often a hit or miss for me. The barista was very nice and I wouldn't be surprised if customers visited just to experience her pleasant demeanor. The cafe itself is very inviting. I can see myself sitting there for a few hours while I work. I highly recommend this place.

This is a super cute coffee shop that has plenty of seating if you want to hangout. I just stopped here as it has great reviews and wanted to try it. The staff were friendly and the drink I ordered came out quick. I ordered an iced tiramisu latte. It was good but it was very expensive ($12) so I probably wouldn't get it again. Next time I come I'll probably try a food item!

Such a cute coffee shop with so many options! Got an iced horchata latte with almond milk and it was noticeably good quality and very smooth. The workers are very helpful and service was quick. Lovely interior and inviting atmosphere!

First time coming here while on a weekend trip. i love how the inside of the cafe looks; very comfortable and welcoming, and it's very clean. They had customers sitting outside, and we were the only ones inside and the service was quick and efficient. Food was very good, and i love they took their time to make it. The Tiramisu Latte caught my eye and it was delicious! If i return to burbank, this coffee location is on my list!

Best Coffee Shop in Glendale CA. Today I searched for Coffee Shop near me and found the cutest coffee shop I have seen in Glendale. They have comfortable seats and even have wall plugs to plug in your computer. The coffee is excellent and the food is even better. They have so many wonderful deserts in the case. I do not need them but I want to try every one of them. They look so good. The beautiful indoor cafe also has outdoor seating with umbrella's. Give them a try. Don't forget to try the wonderful sandwiches they have. Pastrami is my favorite. They have excellent customer service. You will be happy you went.

Needed something quick on the way to the airport and took a chance on this place. I got the rose cold brew and I love it! The cold brew is very strong and robust, and the rose cream was spot on. They even had the viral Dubai chocolate strawberries so I grabbed one of those too for the flight. The staff are so so friendly. My man got straight cold brew, and I could tell he found it a little too strong. He requested to add some syrup to it and the owner even recommended some oat milk. No extra charge! Note to the business: Your cold brew cream is great, I'd suggest thinking of more versions of the cream to offer - it would be a hit

Uptown Coffee has been in my Yelp bookmarks for months! A couple of Saturdays ago, I visited the shop for the first time. I arrived around 9am and found parking in the private lot behind the shop easily. I ordered the Rose Cold Brew Coffee, which was delicious. The rose cream foam was fragrant and didn't taste artificial, and it paired well with the cold brew. I never had Armenian coffee before visiting Uptown Coffee, so I'm glad to have tried it. Also, I had a sip of my brother's Iced Macchiato with whole milk and caramel (syrup costs a little extra), which was light and sweet. I found that the staff were friendly and service was quick. I got takeout and didn't stay long, but they do have indoor and outdoor seating. The shop was quiet at 9am on a Saturday, so it could be a good study/work spot. They have some instruments set up at the front of the shop, so I'd like to come back to enjoy more coffee with live music as well!

I have heard about The Pastrami sandwich at Uptown and today I was able to stop by even through the rain. The flavor and quantity is on point. They panini it and it was hot and juicy. I just paid almost $6 for a small drip coffee. I was gonna cancel when I saw the price on the tablet but then decided maybe I should try it. Unfortunately that was my 2nd mistake. Second star is for the nice girl behind the counter who was innocently involved. read more

Great little coffee place with a lot of options for drinks! Loved the vanilla iced coffee I had, and the eggs and croissant! They had originally forgotten to make the food portion (which I wasn't upset about because I had plenty of time to kill) but as soon as I told them they were right on top of it. They were also kind enough to refund me for it and gave me a chocolate croissant as well. They really didn't need to because I wasn't upset at all but it was a really nice gesture and I wouldn't say no to a free chocolate croissant. Def will be back! read more

Now I need to find a new regular coffee shop. I was coming here almost every day but not any more. The girl clerk called out to me specifically, said "did you park back here? (In the shop's lot)" I said yeah (that's where customers are supposed to park). She said, "they're taking your car" so I ran out to the lot and nothing was happening. I went back in and she was hiding in the back area. I waited for her as a line grew. Finally she came back out and I asked what that was about and she said "my boss told me to tell you that" What? I was parked legally. There's 2 black cars parked illegally though. I said did he mean those cars? She waved her hand dismissively and went "I don't know, he just told me to tell you." So now I feel targeted like it was a prank or something. I said "I want to speak to him." She said "he's not here." Wait, what?? So how did he tell you to tell me that? Then she goes "why are you making a big deal out of this?" So I ask you, yelpers and cafe managers, does any of her interactions make sense to you? Do you want to be treated like that? Btw I posted all this on twitter right after it happened and people said it sounded like an episode of the twilight zone. I said if it was, the title would be The Gaslamp Cafe (get it? I was with a friend who wanted to try Armenian coffee, and it was already past 8 PM, where a lot of places are closed. I saw Uptown was open, so decided to try that. It was great! In addition to a great coffee menu, and a cozy indoor area, they also had plenty of outdoor seating and parking was super easy with a grocery store next door. I didn't order one, but they have amazing looking desserts, too. Next time for sure. That salted caramel cheesecake will be mine. read more

This place was definitely worth a cheatday. An Armenian owned coffee shop in Glendale. uptown.coffee has some amazing drinks and grub. Their caramel ice blended was so much better than Starbucks! Less artificial flavoring but still has a kick! The crepe, SO WORTH IT! Not burned, perfect condiments (banana and Strawberries) and not messy. NEXT TIME I'm going for the oreo version! The customer service was great, too. Very personable and open to helping a first time customer out. Can't wait to come back! read more

This place is clean, affordable and just absolutely delicious. The workers are very friendly and have your orders out very quickly . I have only gone during daytime but I am excited to see when they have live music because I did see a band set up. I hope they can post when there will be live music soon. Went on a Tuesday night at around 8 PM after grabbing dinner with a friend. The girl at the register was sweet and upbeat. I asked her for a coffee recommendation and she suggested a raspberry latte, said it tasted like raspberry ice cream. Boy was she right. It tasted like raspberry ice cream with a hint of coffee. I got it with regular milk. Would come back, perhaps earlier in the day. Looks like a great place to study, work, or read. read more

I just left this coffee shop & I honestly was really excited bc I saw really good rates... So I went in with my bf & we were really friendly with the cashier & even had a good laugh with some of the girls in the back working. But the guy in the hat was extremely rude & he completely ripped us off saying that it was buy one get one free.. For the pastries, I realized at the end he made me pay for 4 pastries when really we just wanted 1. he wasn't specific about the drinks & gave us a tiny shot of expresso instead of the whole coffee cup. I asked for a pumpkin spice latte & they made it so sweet it made my gums hurt, I couldn't even drink it . Then I asked for the wifi password bc I was gonna start my homework & the same guy told me... "the wifi stops working after 7" I was honestly so hurt that I just left.. the guava & cheese pastry was the only good thing about my experience here. I'm also not an angry person, but I am very sensitive & I really do my best to be so kind to everyone & I get that sometimes workers will have a bad day, trust me I understand personally. But don't let it out on other guests & rip people off by lying & mess up our orders.. there wasn't even coffee filled up the whole way. I'm sure this is a great place like other people say but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else honestly. read more

Coffee was really good! But it was pulling teeth to get a recommendation from the staff and they overall had a not welcoming and unfriendly disposition. Overall not very cozy atmosphere. Would not want to hang out here. You could pay just as much to get better service and same quality coffee elsewhere. read more

5 stars for coffee & food. Service is usually great too. Unfortunately, they got rid of their wifi a bit ago, making it impossible for most people to work from. They also like to relegate computer work to 1 hour. For those who like to get some work done at coffee, even if just before a meeting, you can't do that here. read more

Bestie and I found our most favorite coffee spot in town! Such an upgrade from basic Starbucks drinks, this place has whatever you're craving. High quality coffee and ice cream: check Tasty sandwiches and pastry: check check. Kind owners and quality customer service tops it off and i just can't say enough about their sanitation. Everyone follows state guidelines and wears masks at all times; we feel safe having them prepare our food each and every time! read more

Best secret new coffee shop to work at in between Glendale and Burbank! Very comfy, modern scene for the adventurous 20 something needing to get work done out of the house. Coffee is great, wish the tea selection was a little more varied, missing my strawberry açaí from Starbucks lol. The turkey sandwich was also a little plain but hey, it's a coffee shop not a bakery. Overall I come here all the time to get my creative juices flowing. Kind of opposed to adding this on the chance it'll bring more people in- a close and dependable coffee shop with good seating isn't easy to find in LA. read more

Came here on a Tuesday morning for a quick cup of coffee. I was hoping they would have a drop coffee since it was 9 am, but they only had pour over. I wont complain if someone is going to charge me the same price for a pour over as a drip coffee. They serve an armenian coffee, which i have no idea where they source it from. I tried to ask a few questions about the coffee, but I got a lot of shrugs and i felt like they didnt want to be bothered. After paying for my coffee, which was almost $5, I waited. The pour over took around 5 minutes to make, which was not the most opportune time since I was in a rush. After getting the coffee, I took a sip and it tasted pretty meh. The coffee honestly tasted like the beans were stale and old. I felt like I couldve gotten better coffee from another cafe. This place had such good reviews, so I was pretty disappointed to say the least. I get that this is LA, but if i'm going to pay a premium price for a coffee, I expect coffee that is more dynamic in flavor and has somewhat distinguishable notes. This place is not it, so I wont be back. read more
