I love this place. Family friendly, multiple pools and barbecue grills to choose from, full basketball court my son and I enjoy as much as the pool, nice gyms, beach volleyball, and tennis courts, not to mention a huge park just across the street, and everything you need and more just around the corner. Cal State Fullerton is also just down the street one light down and they host a lot of events, plus I enjoy pick up soccer with my son and friends. The management and all the people who work here are super awesome. Special thanks to Tara and Daphne. If I could give 0 stars I would. I actually lived in the property for 2-3 years and management is horrible. My family has gotten their cars damaged and the management is just horrible at responding. Our suburban got our window broken and had property stolen. Our corolla IM has been broken into, property stolen. And just yesterday the bumper was removed in broad daylight! Thank god for insurance but management has no response for it other than "we filed a report for our information" or "I understand your frustration." I asked them about their cameras, their response the last time as well as today, the cameras are broken or they are not ours...? ...Or they were not recording...? ... This is absolutely crazy. I asked about the future plans such as: Are we increasing surveillance, are there going to be WORKING CAMERAS ? Is it going to o be GATED ? All they can say is well I'll bring it up to management. We can offer a closer parking...We haven't had this happen to other residents... this is a lie. Please see the attachments of the pictures I found of other residents within their own yelp. I came in for a tour, Daphne was my leasing agent and all I could say she was one of the best leasing agents I have encountered. I've looked at other apartments and no one has been as helpful and friendly as Daphne. My fiancé and my self have had very bad experiences with other apartments where leasing agents look uninterested and just want to get you in and out but Daphne took the time to answer all of our questions and concerns, she was very approachable and has a lot of knowledge. If you have a car newer than 1990 don't move here. First my car gets broken into, my husbands car gets broken into, we get towed twice, the carport next to me gets broken into, plus multiple car ports,we go down to the tennis courts about five other cars are broken into. Then my husband comes out yesterday and all four of his tires and rims gone!!mind you the Stocked tires. Even worse it was sitting on bricks so definitely not the place to live if you want to continue to spend more money on your personal belongings. I've spoken to other renters, where people have broken into their patio and stolen their stuff, bikes have been stolen out of the parking spots, Carports next to them have had bricks holding up the car cause tires have been stolen, The cameras are fake, and the list goes on. Security sleeps under a tree and doesn't get out of their car. Even worse the office doesn't follow up they're not concerned for their tenants nothing. unreliable and irresponsible. apartment hunting isn't fun, especially when you arrive for a showing you booked in advanced for 2PM and walk up to a locked lobby that says we'll be back at 3PM. we were disappointed so we decided to go thrift to waste some time. my boyfriend called the office and it kept going straight to voicemail. around 2:45PM we finally get a callback and the woman doesn't recall an appointment yet shares they'll be there at 3PM. we go back at 3PM and the doors are still locked. now there's a woman behind a desk on a call who ignores us and a few other tenants waiting for her to open the door. she comes to the door around 10-15 minutes later, mind you it is scorching hot outside and there is no shade where we are, and we tell her that we are here for a showing. she then proceeds to say she doesn't remember even though we talked to her not even half an hour ago... ugh. we wait in the lobby and she says she'll be with us in a bit. some other lady approaches us and asks what we're here for. we tell her we were there for a showing, she shares to us that there are no open apartments to show. we get seated and have to listen to her spiel about everything that isn't included in the rent. it was horrid. overall, not worth a visit! read more

Booked a walkthrough of an 2 bedroom apartment for 2pm in the afternoon, arrived early to find nobody in the office and a sign stating they would be back at 3pm. After 6-7 phone calls I finally got hold of a receptionist who was unknowledgeable and rude. She confirmed on the phone call that we were still able to visit and have the guided tour of a similar unit to the one we were interested. Came to find out they had no units to show us after we waited an hour an a half on their behalf. The property manager said she tried to call to let me know there were no units to show, but I have no records of that ever happening. Prices are exorbitant, and it includes nothing other than the rent and cable. Water, gas, electric, sewer and trash are all extra costs. $2.1k rent + $200-$400 in utilities a month is too close to a mortgage payment for me to ever consider renting a property here. If management treats future residents the same as the current ones I'm sure this would be a horrific place to live. read more

I've leaved in this place for 3 years and paid my rent in time every month and could have complained about a ton of stuff and never did... They have such a poor customer service and they don't care about their tenants.. For once I forgot to pay rent in time and they could not remove a $50 late fee charge. I've put up with stolen gas from my tank cause they don't have enough security on site, garbage area is always disgusting and fly's are pestering the whole place. Laundry room has always a washer or dryer that does not function and is never repaired. I would not recommend this place in the future. read more

DO NOT MOVE HERE. The parking is RIDICULOUS. You will only get one parking spot. And there's a 50/50 chance your car will be broken into in your assigned parking spot. The parking is such a hassle, To the point you are forced to park in guest parking, which is a sketchy ass alley. And there's no over night security. (If there is, he isn't doing his job well) My car along with MANY OTHER cars have been broken into. MY TIRES AND RIMS WERE STOLEN, license plates were stolen, and the hood of my car was stabbed so there's a huge hole in the hood. ALL ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. The office was notified each time, and has done nothing to help. Went to the office, asked to review the cameras that were placed RIGHT ABOVE MY CAR. They had the audacity to say "they don't work." Why do you have cameras installed that don't work where you have tenants parking their car? Rayleen mentioned to me the property has over night security that goes around and takes photos of each car through out the night" when I asked to see the photo of my car through out the night when my car was vandalized and stolen, what do you know? No photos of my car were taken? Weird how you would mention you have a security guard overnight yet, when I ask for the job duties of the security, and to see what they have done for my protection, you can't show the photos of my car? I was on a waiting list for a garage for over 6months, and you would think after your car being a target and multiple times being vandalized, it would be a priority to make your paying tenants feel safe. I paid over 2K in rent, for an apartment that doesn't care about their tenants. They didn't do anything to help with the situation, except let us use a temporary garage, but then said "if you want to continue to use the garage it will be $150" Just know, your car is not safe here! Not even in the assigned parking stalls. Only perks of living here is the maintenance team. They were always amazing, and helped any time it was needed. read more

They have nice basketball courts with trees and grass around it so it actually feels like you can breathe better when playing. Almost all of their units are renovated. Management responds to requests and inquiries quickly. They're simply an email or a phone call away. I enjoyed my stay here. Craig park is iChat next to it within walking distance so you can take your family there for a nice picnic whenever you want. This isn't a luxurious high end apartment complex but it renovated inside and out and it does give you a cozy home next to nature vibe. read more

DON'T LIVE HERE. YOU PAY FOR EVERYTHING. I lived here for 6 months and it was terrible. I was on a month to month lease because at the time it was cheaper than signing for a year. They post they renovation pictures but a lot of the apartments are still old and we were living in one of the older ones. They made them look new by paining the outside grey. Let me start with pros and cons of living at the terrible place. Pro: - Central Air works really great, we stayed cool - The location is so close to the park it's great place for a run Con: - You have to pay for everything. Water, Trash, Sewage, and a Service fee. Our utilities came out to $69 every month for 2 people on top of our rent. So our monthly payments after everything was $1534. If you pay your rent on the website with a debit card they charge you an additional $1. If you want a 2nd car port you have to pay $95. - Associated Rd has a 40 mph speed limit so naturally people drive 80. One day someone crash into a sign 5 feet from our balcony. If it was for the car hitting the sign and a small pole it would have been in our bedroom. See photos for the crash. The dumb part is Uptown Fullerton didn't even call us to see if we were okay. So Uptown Fullerton can go fuck itself. - Shit pools. They NEVER CLEAN the pool or Jacuzzi. The Jacuzzi never worked and they have yet to post a sign saying in service or even drain it. - Office employees care about you until your moved. Allison signed us up ad after we moved in she never said hi to us when she gave tours to new residents. There is also this super condescending girl in the office, blonde, headset, upbeat attitude that quickly goes sour when you ask simple questions. - They increase our rent and it RUINED OUR CHRISTMAS. On Thanksgiving week we got a notice that our lease was ending. Which I don't understand how when we were month to month. They were increase our rent up to $300 if we would have stayed month to month. They were forcing everyone to sign 6 or 12 months lease and it was still going to increase a $100 - $200, plus the additional $69 utilities. We had to move out because we could afford it and had to cancel Christmas to put money down on a new place. So go fuck yourself again Uptown. - Unnecessary updates and water shut downs. Every week there was a water shut off. They are consistently "working on the boilers." And I know the increase in rent was due to the updates the complex is going through. Like a stupid Nest system, because people really need that. - No Parking. It gets really difficult to find parking here not to mention there are so many cars parked here that don't work. It says in the lease all cars parked have to be in working order but there are a lot that are dumped here, spilling oil, and haven't been moved for days. One car I noticed has been parked behind the wall for months. - It's not as safe as it looks. Drug free, yeah right. I don't care about the weed but there guys selling some real hard stuff here. - The TECH PACKAGE. Probably the worse part about this place is the tech package. It's in the lease that you HAVE TO participate. You get a cable box, which I have cut the cord and only have internet, and it has basic cable. If you want internet you have to get on your own through Spectrum and only Spectrum. They have a monopoly on this place. So, I was paying $60 bucks for cable that I didn't need and an additional $50 for internet. This is the biggest reason we moved out. They changed the rules where we can get cable & internet through the lease, but it was really crappy internet. The speed dropped so slow. When we moved out we were charged more money for utilities and they claim it came from the city. But our new place didn't do that and its in the same city. Moral of it all. There are better and cheaper complexes out there. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND LIVE SOMEWHERE BETTER. read more

I was so close to work and so many restaurants and shopping, and the office staff and maintenance were always so great! If this site could give negative stars, believe me they would have some. This place along with their staff are horrible. They are uncompliant, unreliable and most importantly don't look out for the residents. They make up their own policies and when something happens on property they never respond or respond with some dumb excuse. They tow cars and never claim responsibility for anything. Plus the buildings suck along with parking. They have security to be vigilant at night yet they still break in to vehicles and they never help you out. Trust me skip this place! Alicia is by far one of their worst employees, she is rude and disrespectful. There are daily water outages, issues with appliances breaking and going dead as soon as installed. Trust me don't bother with this place. They work in making it nice somehow but can't enforce better budget to making it safer for the vehicles and tenants. This place has rats and management does nothing about it. Well, they blame you for rats getting into the property even though they came into the unit from the stove vent. I broke my lease to leave this place because my stove was dripping with poop and urine from the microwave. Pretty unsanitary, but they don't care. When I returned my keys, I told them to forward any bills to my new address. Well, that didn't happen so now I have a letter from collections I have to deal with. If you don't mind rats, people not picking up after their dogs, and sharing the water bill with the property so they can water the sidewalk and driveways, then by all means, this is the place for you. Let me start off with the fact that I don't know where any of those negative comments below came from? I've never seen a loud pool party, never saw the laundry room dirty and never had any issues with maintenance or anything. The apartments are gorgeous and very well maintained. The office is always there to help with any issues. Pool and jacuzzi is clean. No insects or pests. Neighbors are awesome....their pets are awesomerrr! Haha I think this place is perfect. Being in the service industry I'm not a huge fan of yelp, however seeing as how the leasing office doesn't care about old tenants I have no other way to voice myself. I moved into the complex prior to it being bought out and turned into "Uptown Fullerton" and my living experience was way more pleasant prior to the buy out. Luxury apartments? I think not. There's construction going on five times a week that disrupts your normal day to day life. All you are told is "bare with us it'll all be worth it in the end" yet by the time all this construction is over so many of our leases will be over so our lives are being disrupted and we won't reap the rewards. I was also told that to be "fair" they "were honoring the Camden contracts and rent did not go up" during this transition. Well of course it didn't, that would be grounds for breaking the leasing contract and you would have so many tenants move out that you would lose money. So no Mindy (property manager) you are not doing us a favor you're watching your own behind. The water gets shut down at least three times a month. The washer machines and dryers are constantly broken (even though the laundry room was newly remodeled with new machines). And the dumpsters come Friday are overflowing so by Monday you're walking thru a mini-landfill (maggots have swarmed parking spaces close to the dumpsters) adding to stench of dog feces and urine. My air conditioner hasn't been working for over a month and my kitchen & bathroom sinks have been clogged for days despite me having contacted the leasing office. Also, my car was broken into and they didn't care about that either. These are not luxury apartments. Remodeled? Yes. But not luxury. You're better off taking your hard earned money elsewhere where your life won't be so disrupted and you can live in peace. read more

We moved out about a month ago because they were raising out rent and we had multiple problems. Although we enjoyed our neighbors and the maintenance staff (amazing maintenance staff and super responsive), our overall experience living here was not good. First off, your cars are not safe. My car was broken in too and my boyfriends car had his gas stolen while on the property. In addition, they have a "new" parking system and you will have to communicate over and over again that your ASSIGNED spots are in fact assigned to you. Second, after being in our apartment for over a year I noticed my asthma ( and my pets) was getting worse and we kept getting sick. That's when we realized they have a serious mold problem. The buildings are old and not kept together well, they only do enough to make it look aesthetically good. But we saw multiple spots of black mold that gets worse during the rainy season (Since we have left, my asthma has dramatically improved). We had several boxes and personal items ruined while they were in the garage storage due to leaking water pipes. Third, management here was difficult to get a hold of when dealing with problems. We had to reach out several times about cars for them to do anything. I contacted them 4 times and had my boyfriend go over in person before they actually helped us, recluctantly. Also, we enjoyed the dog park but after a while noticed they have a poisonous plant that is literally called stinging nettle that becomes overgrown. read more
