Me and my husband went to this restaurant around 8 pm on Sunday evening . I fell in love with this restaurant seeing the yelp review. We stepped in and the restaurant was very old and dirty . Their kitchen is visible from the table area and it looked very dirty. The 2 guys working inside was so friendly though. I saw the menu on the big poster on the wall and ordered chicken tikka kebab with rice,The price is 9.99$ for a big plate of kebab, rice ,side salad and hummus. The chicken tasted very good and juicy. The rice flavored good and the salad n hummus was decent. I dont have any complaints other than the dirty atmosphere. read more

I am shocked I haven't given this place a review yet. This is a small place that's not too fancy, but is very comfortable. Everyone here is nice and friendly. The food is excellent and is almost homemade. Our favorite here is the falafel which I think is the best around this area. Street parking is usually available and easy. There's also a TV on the wall, but normally strange things are playing. There's not much pictures left for me to take of this place, as Melanie T took all of them. read more

Ordered the Lamb over rice. It comes with a side of Salad with Humus. The Lamb was incredibly TENDER! Very good value for only $7.99. I even ordered another one for To-go. I also had the Shawarma Fries. Note that it looks a little different than the photo already provided; I'll have a new one uploaded. Overall very happy with my meal here and will want to come back even more. Keep in mind this place is very small. I think the most it can fit is 10-12 people. Originally went to Beaverton to try the new brewery, but there was so much waiting time. I passed this place on the way there and it attracted me for the simple but delicious looking menu. Writing my review after two visits to this place. The attention to the food is a prime for them. This also means that you cannot expect your food to come quickly to you. But good food requires some patience. So if you are looking for a quick bite this is probably not your place. So food is very reasonable priced( less than 10$) with the lamb shank being the most expensive at 13$ - MUST TRY. On my first visit we ordered : Kebabs Plate - OUT of the World Humus - PRETTY Good Baklava - AMAZING The plates come with rice or salad and its good for one person. The desert was really fresh and tasted amazing. They have a coal BBQ giving the kebabs the exact smoky flavor. The thing that was really the most killer thing was the Lamb Shank that i ordered on my second visit. Please Please PLEASE try it. So first they have the lamb shank cooking in this very flavorful broth all the time, but when you order it they take a shank out of the pot and then put it on the flat pan so that it gets crispy on the outside while still juicy on the inside ( Great Trick :)) .. It was really hard to get my two items communicated... it took three employees (all employees within the restaurant) to talk and get my order right... which was : Lamb over rice, Chicken Tikka kabob over rice. We are very satisfied with the items. The Lamb over rice was just amazing... i am still craving for the item. Chicken tikka over rice was decent...interestingly the rice used on this dish was not the same as the lamb over rice dish (the latter was better). Both dishes came with a simple salad and hummus, which was decent. A small place which can barely hold 15 people. Seems like a mom and pop restaurant with the owners currently working. Got their lamb over rice and 2 sides of falafel yesterday for dinner as it was too hot and I didn't feel like cooking. I had read a few people mention their falafel and how amazing it was so I had to try it. I've had falafel before at another gyro place nearby but wasn't impress so I figure I'd give it another try. Falafel here is amazing! Reviewers mention it having a nice crunch on the outside with perfect texture on the inside and they sure are correct! They were delicious! I got 2 but wish I would have gotten 3. Their lamb with rice was cooked with tomatoes and onions. I also asked for tzatziki sauce besides what it came with and that, too, was delicious! The food is delicious but the wait times are ridiculous. We waited 35 minutes for a falafel and lamb gyro to go. Unfortunately we were in a hurry but had been in before and figured it would be just as fast this time for our small order. When we came in, the only guy working was chit-chatting to the guy picking up his order... who had already paid and had his food in hand. No one else was in the restaurant. Once he left, the staff member got a small phone order, and then he took our order and we paid. A good 35 minutes later, the man who had ordered came in and it seemed like both of our orders were just about ready, so my boyfriend got up to check. He told us it wasn't ready, it would be a few more minutes. Then he charged the phone guy for his order, and simply turned around to grab our fully ready and bagged order and handed it to us. We took it and started heading out when he yelled "hey, did you pay?!" He looked pretty stressed out when he was cooking, he kept going back to the notes he had taken for our order several times and looked confused. Maybe he was really tired or having an off day but it seemed weird to have such a slow/nervous/new employee working peak dinner hours. I have been coming to UR Mediterranean for several years and have moved out of the area recently. I went back this past week and discovered there are new owners. Before I new that I ordered what I thought was the all time great Falafel plate with rice that kept me coming back time and again. Much to my dismay, they changed there recipe. Not the same flavor and texture. I also ordered a side of pita bread. When my dish came no pita bread. I told the cook he forgot my pita bread and he said "My bad" I will get it for you. I was totally ignored and never got my pita bread. That was rude and horrendous customer service. What was my favorite Mediterranean restaurant is no more. Sad to see this place go down hill . Really Fantastic Hole in The Wall! Was hanging around in Beaverton and me and my friend saw there was a new Mediterranean Restaurant and decided to go check it out. As we parked and walked closer I was a little hesitant but am glad we stuck with it. Decor: Place is small and cozy. Has a big screen TV + 3-4 tables with lots of chairs. Food: We ordered the Chicken on Rice, Chicken shawarma, and one order of Hummus. Food was delicious. The shawarma came in a different style of bread that I'm used to but I still enjoyed it. Misc: Owner (or I think he was) was very nice to us. He came out afterwards and talked to us and asked if there was anything wrong with the food and how he could improve. Great touch. Overall it's a great little place to visit. Prices were definitely cheap so this is a great place to go on a budget. Definitely will return soon. read more

Not sure if I caught this restaurant on a bad day, but I was unimpressed. I was initially excited by the hole-in-the-wall feel to this place; tiny seating area, nothing special to the decor, and very kind service. But the food, eh. We came on a Wednesday shortly before noon. I ordered the falafel sandwich and surprisingly they were still preparing the falafels, which wouldn't be ready for hours. I asked about the baba ganoush, which they kindly let me sample. I ended up ordering the chicken shawarma salad, which was served on limited greens and with a heavy tomato-like sauce. The first time I visited this place I peeked in through the window and was like, "Really? Paper plates?" Thankfully my coworker (who has traveled all over the world) convinced me that some of the best food she's ever had was on paper plates and I should stop being an a$$. Plus she noted, "It's really full in there. It can't possibly be bad." So, two visits later and I'm still singing their praises. The food is fantastic here and made fresh, right in front of you. With that said, if you order a lot of different things, don't expect the dishes to come out in a particular order. You're gonna get your food in the order it was prepared/finished. So the really fresh taboulleh won't come quick as it's being prepared fresh and on the spot. The inside of the place is small and drinks are spendy but why on earth would you want to wash that sweet, sweet flavor of falafel or tahini sauce from your mouth? Stick with water. Ditch the sugary drinks for another time. I suggest you get your food to go so you can give your meal the 110% attention it deserves..and in private. Stare at it, savor it with your eyeballs and breath in the aroma of its deliciousness. Bottom line, their food is great and I will be back...I might not leave.
