I have been coming to Urban for brunch on Sunday mornings for years. It is amazing, great food every time with an amazing staff & ownership! very personable & a great atmosphere. They have been unbelievable, especially dealing with the last couple years with problems arising from Covid. if you are in the Arrowhead area, there's not a better place for Brunch & they also have a great lunch/dinner menu. I had wanted to check this place out for sometime but when I saw they were doing 4 dollar margaritas for national tequila day I did not wait any longer. We did not have to wait long infant if we wanted a high top table we could of just sat right away . The staff was supper friendly from the hostess to servers to who I believed was the manager all running around to give a five star service in a time when almost all restaurants are short staffed. On to the food. The 4 dips that we got were fantastic my girlfriend who does not do spicy as in there is pepper in the dish it to hot was in love with the queso and bean dip. They did have a slight bite but for me it was just a great balance and they had to been good as she kept eating it. So I got the special of a chicken mole enchilada and I have to say this was the best mole that I have had so far. I wanted to ask for a container of it to go. The chicken was tender and full of flavor on its own. The side of rice and beans were also very good . My girlfriend got the carne quesadilla and she said the steak was some of the best marinade that she had had. I have to say that the portion sizes were on the big side as you won't go away hungry and the food is so good that you just want to keep eating. I was stuffed and could hardly move but had to try a dessert the raspberry churros were good but to me they fell a little short I would of thought they would of had some fresh raspberry somewhere in there but I am getting picky here with all the flavors that the first part of dinner had given us. The atmosphere is nice, cozy and relaxed. The sauvingon blanc is delicious as well as the house margarita. We didn't order anything after the chips and dips. The beans, salsa, guacamole and queso are all almost inedible with no spice or much flavor at all. The food was good. The prickly pear margarita was amazing. Kastle's service was subpar. She certainly paid attention to my husband, he got both his drinks before I even got my water. She was great about offering him refills but I wasn't offered a thing. Had she been on top of her game she would have had more beverage sales. We asked for two to go boxes, my husband got his. This was our second time at Urban Margarita and let me tell you, it doesn't get any better than this. My wife had the steak salad and I had the pulled pork nachos (from the appetizer section of the menu, of all things). Both dishes were absolutely delicious and more than we could eat. The steak on the salad came out cooked a perfect medium-rare, with the perfect amount of seasonings, while the lettuce and all the fixings were fresh and crisp. But the nachos...Oh. My. Goodness. These nachos were hands down, the best nachos I've ever had in my life! Period. Honestly. For $14.50, you get a plate of nachos that is literally enough to feed 3 people! The plate comes piled high with pulled pork, cheese, sour cream, fresh diced tomatoes, and green hatch chilies. Add a side of their fresh guacamole and ask for the spicy salsa, and you'll be in heaven. Did I mention their sour cream? If you like sour cream, you'll want to ask for 2-3 extra servings. If you don't like sour cream, you'll want to ask for 2-3 extra servings! I don't like sour cream and I asked for extra. I'm guessing it's made from scratch sour cream, as it was whipped and stiff, like homemade whipped cream. The cheese on the nachos was creamy and tasty. It was real cheese, not just cheese sauce dumped on top. This was also some of the tastiest pulled pork I've ever had. The pulled pork could have stood on its own as a dish. Also, this wasn't just a pile of chips, with the topping piled on top. Oh no! These nachos were nicely layered, with all the ingredients on each layer. So whether you were starting on the top or actually make it all the way to the bottom you'll have toppings in each bite. Oh and don't forget to ask for a serving or two of the spicy red sauce. Delicious and has a nice slow heat to it. Lastly, you know how you never want to take leftover nachos home and heat them up the next day, because they get all soggy and gross? Well, these chips do the same thing, they get all soft. But they didn't get gross. Instead, they turned into something about the consistency of a burrito made with corn tortillas. With all the chilies, tomatoes, pulled pork, and whatever else you add to it, it was like having a big burrito the second day. All in all, a solid 5 out of 5 stars. The owners (according to our friends who took us here) frequently checked with us to be sure everything was to our liking. And it was! The service is good and friendly. The food is delicious! Urban Margarita is one of our favorite local spots. My husband and I went to dinner tonight and had their special Pacific cod fillet served with a brown butter mango pan sauce with bacon brussels sprouts and truffled Yukon Gold Mashed. My husband and I are foodies and we recently went to Mastro's Ocean club and Urban Margarita's special on their cod fillet totally surpassed our recent experience at the Ocean club. My friends and I went there on national margarita day and they had a special on margaritas. We hadn't been there before, so we figured we'd try it out. The drinks were made wrong and when I sent mine back to get fixed, the waiter brought back the wrong type of margarita. There were multiple people around us, all complaining about the margaritas. This happened to me, my friend, and at least 2 other tables around me. I was disappointed to see nothing removed from my bill either. The service was pretty slow, which made the situation worse. I'm giving 2 stars because my other friend ordered the tacos special and he really liked them. Really disappointing experience. There's plenty of really good Mexican restaurants around, so I won't be back here. read more

We go there often before the new owners took over it was a great place, and it continues to be a great place. The food is awesome and consistent. The service was great as usual the ambience was nice. I only had one problem we were dining, and I looked towards the kitchen, and it looked like there was a lizard crawling on the new brick wall, it turned out to be 2 inch to 3 inch cockroach. I alerted my waiter and he took care of it with a broom. Needless to say it didn't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling. We came here due to good Yelp reviews and I cannot help but add another good review. Service was excellent and it seemed there were plenty of servers to get to everyone. I'd already read that chips were an appetizer. But guess what? It was early and they have seven days a week happy hour!!!!! So we got our chips and salsa. Chips were not greasy and they were very lightly salted. I'm sorry, but I love my salt and can't stand getting free chips without salt. Blyecch. So these were delicious. We both ordered the chicken stuffed poblanos which were excellent. My boyfriend felt they could have had a little more spiciness/heat. Came here and just missed brunch. The kitchen was open for appetizers while it changed from brunch to lunch/dinner we ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp. The 2nd order did not seem quite cooked, middle was still transparent. Manager came back and proudly served us a replacement order with shrimp and bacon that was so burnt it was black and smelled burnt.
