It should be the managements responsibility to inform paying customers how many camps are scheduled each day. We showed up at 1 and there had to be 10 school buses in the lot. At least 3 camps at one time, which made the place way too crowded to enjoy. The staff was not regulating anything. There was empty water bottles and other debris on the trampolines, spilled water on the mats, and people running into each other the whole time. I bet they surpassed the max capacity between camps and customers. It's unsafe when it's over crowded and a waste of money. This venue has been opened for about 1 week now, and the name of this place is already circulating because the kids were out for Spring Recess and it was a Mad House. I came in to check it out for hosting my son's 5th birthday party. It's located right off I-80 and housed in a warehouse; the place is massive, the grounds were clean, a bit pricey, and ample parking. The smiling faces inside and the sad faces leaving let me know right then I was in the right place. There are 3 packages to choose from - Basic, Deluxe and Ultimate. It's my baby's 5th, so I went Ultimate, which will get us a private room, a private host, and full access to the entire facility for 10 kids. The setup is included with cups, napkins and plates but they are basic amenities (i.e. white dixie plates). The flyer say's balloons included, but you're only getting 4, SO, you will need to bring your own if you want more, especially if you're party is themed. Devin who gave us the tour, seemed like a really sweet and happy kid, and because of that I requested him as our host for the party. Each host will have their specialty skill, so be sure to ask about that when you book your private host. We were fortunate to have someone help us out in our party room (Jasmin) who was absolutely AMAZING! She was so polite, professional, and attentive. Every single time, she had the only smile on her face. We then we're greeted by the manager named Arturo, who came to make sure everything was alright and if we needed anything. We stayed longer than we expected as a group, but the staff we dealt with were a great bunch of people for my daughter's birthday. Upon our arrival, there was school buses with children coming in too. We decided to take a look around to be sure that our kids would still have room. The manager, Andrew, saw us looking around in concern and walked right over. He explained there was an unplanned arrival for 150 kids plus another birthday party (planned) that had just arrived. He assured us if we ended up thinking it was too busy, that we could come find him, and he'd give us tickets to come back another day. My only complaint about this place was that there wasn't anyone monitoring the different areas. I had to tell numerous kids that they were in the wrong section. There's a 4 and under section that my 2 year old was jumping around in, and there was plenty of older children, some pre teens, who came over and almost knocked my child over. No one reinforces that you're supposed to jump in your own square area, not all over the place. The was one buy jumping from one end to the other and no one said anything. Purchased 4 ultimate tix for kids on Saturday, ridiculously chaotic and packed. You get a 2hr limit but lines are ridiculous, kids keep cutting in front, so disorganized. There were so many kids with no wrist bands and staff barely noticed unless they wanted to climb or do something that needed their wristbands. They need to cancel/take out dodge ball as to much confrontational situations were taking place. I will never again go to this location. It's gotten out of control and kids just throw socks on and jump for free. Staff are kids who really don't care. Waste of money and so disappointed! If I can rate zero stars, I would! I am sharing my experience after more than a year of trying to resolve it. My next step will be pursuing legal action. I hold this place in contempt. The ownership hides behind email rather than a customer service department. The onsite management is doing their best but are unsupported in any meaningful way. In January of 2023, my young children were assaulted by a group of young teenage boys. At the time my daughter was 11 and my son 9. This was the first month of our new membership. I was present for this incident and attest to the accuracy and validity of our experience. I was sitting in the waiting area with a group of other parents when my children ran up to me and described an incident where they were verbally harassed and physically assaulted. I was alarmed as any parent would be and sought assistance from the staff. They did nothing. As we were retrieving our belongings from the lockers, some of the group were in close proximity and my children alerted me as they were afraid. One of the kids noticed that mine had pointed towards him and the others in the group quickly showed up. They started arguing with me as I tried to be reasonable and let them know to behave like young men and not to attack or mistreat younger kids. They got in my face and one of them was waving his phone in my face, it was like a tik tok frenzy, they were escalating and acting irrationally, yelling and screaming, etc.. At threat point I realized that I and my children were in a heightened state of danger and I didn't want to get into a physical altercation. I started calling for an employee and after a moment or two, someone heard me and a young man, who looked to be a teenager himself came over. To his credit, he listened and told the kids they had to calm down but informed me that they couldn't do anything else, not remove them, not take a report of ascertain who they are or issue any sort of recorded warning. I then went to the front desk and the group had dispersed back into the facility and requested the police be called. I gave my report to the responding officer which documents the incident. I was informed that the police are constantly called for fights, disturbances, thefts and injuries. I asked an employee before I left how to cancel my membership and they said to call the office. That was not accurate. A few weeks went by until I got the credit card bill and was reminded to cancel. I called, as instructed. I was told that I had go online to cancel. I tried that, no where on the website is there an option to cancel. A phone to a corporate office seems to be missing as well. As you would imagine, I couldn't continue to spend the time tracking down the information at that time as the demands of life required my focus. Every few months, I would try to get in contact with someone again to resolve to no avail. It was a very challenging year with family members falling ill and several other distracting events. I figured that once I got in touch with the right person, provided the Police Report and explained the incident, my money would be refunded. That was not the case. After more than a year, I decided to contact my credit card company and explained the situation. They initially credited back to me the total charges I requested which equated to the membership fee from February 23 through this spring (15 payments). Initially, Capital One returned all the payments but then a month later they reversed their decision because "The merchant stated that your request was not in the terms of service". That's when I went to the South Hackensack PD, got a copy of the incident report and went back to the location to request my card not be billed any longer. The manager pointed to an email address to cancel my membership and stated that they should at least refund me since January (24) since they aren't supposed to auto renew and bill. I emailed memberships@urbanairparks.com on 5/6/24. They read my email on the 7th and I got a reply from "Natalie" on May 10th confirming my cancellation. I then had to go back and forth with the credit card company in trying to understand why, when I provided the Police report of my minor children being assaulted, how the Merchant's claim was not immediately invalidated. I was told my only recourse was to follow up with the merchant. I then replied to Natalie requesting to speak with someone further to resolve a billing issue. on "May 29, 2024, 12:06PM to Urban Natalie, I need to speak with someone from billing. I despite trying on numerous occasions, I haven't been able to locate a phone number for corporate. Would you please provide one so I can resolve my issue without further detriment? Sincerely, Vito " They read my email within an hour of receiving it and have yet to reply. Without a full refund, I have no choice but to seek help from the Court. The children arrived w their papers w the email & phone number & were told the purchaser needed to be present with ID. Isn't the point to gift said certificate so gifted could use at their chosen date & time?? No matter which way I argued w the representative, who acted as a middle man because her supervisor was not a strong enough leader to get on the phone, I ultimately asked for a refund (I'm still waiting for said refund). Hosted a birthday party here for an 8 years old on a Sunday afternoon. The space was huge with lots of activities for kids - ninja course, trampolines, slides, jungle gym, etc. The communal party area was crowded. After you sign the waiver and verify with the host you get jump socks & a wristband, then you can play. This took a long time about 20minutes out of a 2 hour party time. I asked for them to extend the playtime which allowed the kids about an hour to play with 30m of pizza/cake time. The play spaces were crowded - easily lose sight of child - should have a maximum capacity. Kids had a great time and this would be a great place to take your children. read more

We had gone to Urban Air in the past, just to jump as well as for others' parties, but boy have things changed. Our party was on a Saturday, and it was chaos. It was an embarrassment to have hosted a party at such a crazy venue. Not only was it near impossible for guests to find parking (several parked in other lots), but that caused their kids to miss 10-15 min of jumping. There were hundreds of kids running around. There wasn't sufficient space for kids to jump... parties aren't organized, so the kids aren't kept together (other jump places have a dedicated party host who brings them to different areas). It seems the employees (most of them look like they're in high school) have just checked out and were uninterested in doing anything beyond the bare minimum. The whole place was filthy. There were leaking pipes from ceilings that were dripping on us and the coat rack we were using, as well as the floor near us. Kids' socks were getting soaked. Bathrooms were not functioning--clogged toilets and overflowing toilets... mix that with kids running around in just socks. Just thinking about the combination of that makes me sick to my stomach. If it looks like this every weekend (and by the looks of things from others' reviews, it seems likely), I'm surprised the business hasn't been shut down. Our guests all got scratch off coupons for future visits, but they all voiced that they would not be returning. If that isn't the makings of a disappointing party, I don't know what is. I've contacted them and asked to speak with a manager. I wanted to hold off posting this until I'd given them a chance to apologize or explain, but after weeks of no response, I'm ready to warn others. JULY 30! My kids really like this place and we sometimes bring their friends as well (ages 11 and 13). However, we bought tickets and came today, Sunday, and realized they charge an adult just to be here as a spectator. I'm not jumping, and it's not like I have a choice but to stay with them. I don't think they should charge at all, but I was shocked to find out that they charge almost $13 for a spectator. We stayed because I already bought the kids their tickets online. we had a pretty good experience here tonight .. had our daughters bday party here and all the kids had a blast! was the food good? eh, it was something you'd expect this kind of place to have, nothing to write home about, BUT our host did everything - they supplied us with plates utensils napkins everything you would need ! waters served the children and cleaned after them, my daughter had an amazing party and that is really what matters to me. our host was great with the kids I wish I could remember her name to give her some credit! so polite and offered parents pizza cake drinks and such. she did wonderful. she set the cake up while the kids played and called them all in to sing, let them run off to play again and at the end they came back to eat the cake and collect their things. the place was pretty clean, sanitizer everywhere and it was a very empty night, not many other people there which was awesome it was almost like we had the place to ourselves. would definitely recommend this place. the package we got alotted for the kids to basically do what ever they wanted- for 2 hours the birthday girl received a tshirt and free ticket for admission at another visit, plus 3 pizzas and the supplies. would definitely do it again, thank you for making my daughters 8th birthday one she'll surely remember!!! read more

Place is big and pretty fun but FILTHY. Disgusting carpet full of dirt, stains, and gum. There's garbage everywhere especially in the indoor playground. Masks, cheetos, cups, food wrappers, socks, so much dust and grime. It's really gross. It's a good thing you have to use their new socks and not your own. It's also busy and full of rowdy bigger kids. So not amazing for toddlers. If you can stomach the mess then it's a good way to tire out your kid. I don't think we'll go back. Hosted my sons birthday party here and it was such a horrifying experience, and waste of money! Not only was it overwhelmingly crowded, it was unsafe and dirty. Hundreds of people! Not an exaggeration. I have never seen anything like this and sadly it's an event space for kids! Adding the extra activities to the birthday package is not worth the price because party attendees won't be able to enjoy them. A private dodgeball game is included with the room package but good luck in being able to have the space to yourself. This was definitely the worst party experience I have ever had. The place would have been great pre-COVID, but it's terrible now. The staff doesn't enforce wearing masks and half the staff wear theirs around their necks. There is no sanitation going on or social distancing. I asked the staff to please enforce adults in the facility wearing masks and was told "I can't do that" and then said they would make an announcement but never did. They don't even do a health screening! We came for a birthday under the impression it would be safe and felt the complete opposite. Ok I love the concept of Urban air because unlike other trampoline places it has so many other fun things to do like a rock climbing wall, ball pit with obstacle course and plenty more. My issue with this location is the fact that they fill it beyond capacity to the point where I'm sure it was a fire hazard!!! First the parking lot was FULL they had workers telling people to park across the street in a lot of other businesses and on very cold days it's an inconvenience!! Secondly we came for a party and assumed the party would have their own party room, well no this place recently decided that they are going to throw long tables around their establishment so they can add extra parties which brings in more people and more money for them. The bathrooms were not kept up which I understand being so crowded but imagine having your socks on and using a public restroom with water and urine all over the floor as an adult I went to get my shoes but kids just run to use the restroom and back to the trampolines. That just grossed me out. I tried this place twice now and I think I'm done as least not on the weekends ever again. Just way to crowded to be comfortable! Oh wow how things have changed in 10 months. Men sagging pants walking around with their underwear out. Couples making out dead center of everything. And the best was an overly aggressive kid physically fighting with another, screaming profanity and not one staff member addressed any of these things. As mentioned before, much more activities than Sky Zone. But to drive across the bridge, pay a toll and more of an entry fee than Sky Zone is no longer a value for the experience. We are willing to sacrifice a few extra activities for a lower entry fee and much more family friendly environment for my 6 year old son. read more

We drove there from Manhattan. On their website, there was no scheduled tickets and the sessions are 2 hours. When we got there, there were so many kids, half of them without masks because they were little. Although I filled out the waiver for my daughter (7), I showed her my concern and she too was not comfortable with so many kids in such an indoor space. We ended up driving another 25 minutes to Skyzone. Skyzone was more expensive for less time, and only has trampolines so there was less people. Skyzone staff was constantly cleaning. My daughter had a great time. During covid, safety should always come first. You should not be allowing so many kids, without masks. The entire day, I wondered how they allowed that situation to happen. It should be monitored and controlled better or closed. Don't risk the health of your children and family. read more

I have a 7 year old, so I've been to every play place in the area. This place is the absolute worst. We went there for a birthday party on a Sunday afternoon. Although the party room was set up beautifully by the Mom, and the kids had fun, I will never step foot in this place again. It was total mahem. This place was definitely over capacity, and unsafe. You could barely walk thru the place without being pushed or shoved. They had at least 25 parties going on at the same time. There were parties set up in the middle of the space that took away from walking thru. We all lost track of where our kids were. There were older kids playing with younger kids and it was not safe. I had gone for a toddler bday party. Started off alright, with okay service; however, my shoes and other guest's shoes were stolen. Police were involved ; however , urban air itself did not pull up cameras or try to help locate who and where my shoes were. I would like to suggest an employee overlooking the station where you do not purchase a locker but are allowed to store your belongings because all of the lockers coincidently were all occupied.
