Update: I visited Urban Apples a few months ago, and this past week I went again. They have completely revamped the menu, and offer more options than they did before. They also are soft-launching a Sunday brunch for two weekends in January. I won't be able to attend, but if it's nothing like the weeknight dinners, I am sure it will be great! I went on a Wednesday night and was happy to see that they had Bingo going on. There was a decent crowd, and everyone seemed to be enjoying their time. Great companion to Urban Vines winery and a must visit if you're a fan of cider. Nice outdoor space, but, unlike the winery, there is not an area for children. Great atmosphere and plenty of seating indoors and out. Service was good, and ciders were excellent, but at $20 for a flight of 4 is about $6 too much. Menu is limited but seems typical for this kind of venu. Our food service was slow; we ordered a pretzel, which took almost 30 minutes before it was ready. The Cherry Limeade and Mulled Cranberry ciders are fantastic. Looking forward to returning. read more

Love the idea of going here, and the events they do but they are never staffed enough. When they do large events like petting zoo and pony rides, they need a mobile bar outside. We waited almost a hour for drinks. The events in theory are good, but I wouldn't go back unless it was something I really wanted to do. read more

Went for brunch and ordered a veggie omelet. It was the worat omelette I've had . Asked server about the cheese that was suppose to be in it. She said chefs didn't put cheese in it. Hardly any veggies on top and it was $15. Maybe a 1-2 egg omelet. Very flat. Not worth eating brunch here at all. Food was cold as well and took 40 minutes to get. Did not offer refund but offered another omelet. Wouldn't order this ever again or even get a free one to replace. Brought family here to enjoy and was a horrible experience. read more

We had an igloo reservation. We had been looking forward to this since August, but our experience was a huge disappointment. We pre-ordered appetizers, drinks, and all 8 meals for our party of eight and even confirmed everything ahead of time--but the confirmation email didn't show the full order, which would have helped avoid all the chaos. When we arrived, some of our group were asked if the order was correct but weren't shown it, and they were given random flights that weren't the flavors they wanted. Drinks were eventually sorted, but some were wasted due to poor communication. The appetizers were fine, but the main courses were a disaster--cold, delayed, and only six of the eight meals arrived. Of those, only four were correct. By the time the food came out, there was no way to fix anything--two people went without meals, and two had to eat something they didn't want. Staff even argued that we hadn't ordered eight meals, which was completely wrong. For over $300, this was unacceptable. Poor service, miscommunication, and cold food ruined what should have been a fun night. We will not be coming back. read more

What's not to love about this place? The atmosphere is so comfortable and unique (ask about a table in their horse stalls). The drinks are amazing, and their food is so delicious and fresh ( you have to get apple cider doughnuts)! Such a fun place for adults and kiddos! read more

Such a lovely cidery! I wish they had more around Indy. Great for couples, families, dates, hanging out and watching the game. We didn't try the food, but they have a good selection if you're needing something in your tummy. The service was awesome! The ladies who poured for us were so awesome and insightful. Just a great vibe all around here! It's a bit of a drive for us to get out here but 100% worth it for a nice Sunday late afternoon. They had a TV on with one of the football games on, too. Dogs allowed out on the patio. Kids allowed inside, just not at the bar area. Would be a great venue for a business venture, family reunion, or intimate (100 or less people) wedding :) they have a stage, too. Would love to come back sometime to see some live music. Only complaint I had was that hanging outside on the patio was tough with all the bees there. They were relentless, so we had to go inside. I tried out this new cidery expecting a lot since I love Urban Vines and they did not disappoint! It was a little confusing because the entrance and parking is in the back, but the signs direct you accordingly if you read them. I was worried the ciders would be too sweet, but I really enjoyed them - definitely get the tasting flight if unsure what you might enjoy. The food was good - everything was fried, but I didn't go out to eat too healthy and it was fun to try new foods. We ate outside, umbrellas would be nice out there to block some sun, but still good vibes. Overall, I enjoyed the whole experience and will come back! read more

Excited I got to check this place out! It was gorgeous out too! The parking is a bit confusing to me. Where you would think you'd park appears to be employee parking and yes, there were cones, but that must be the back of the building. I drive around back and there was ample parking there. They have picnic tables outside, but no umbrellas so be prepared to bake in the sun if you do want to sit outside. The inside had lots of different seating options. I ordered a flight of four ciders and took them outside to enjoy. I chose Johnny Appleseed, the crown, ciderita, and saucey cranberry. I liked them all, but the OG Johnny Appleseed was my fav. None of them were overly sweet which I was pleased with. We ordered food from the QR code. Pick up is around the corner from where you order your drinks. This also was not immediately clear to me and they told me when I looked confused. We chose the potato pancakes and sauerkraut balls. Both were good! Came here on opening day so obviously a lot was going on. But 1) cool new place, lots of parking and outdoor picnic seating. 2) inside has an upstairs with seating and also downstairs 3) there's flights! The cider was delicious! The original was probably my favorite and also the slushy drink. They have a stage indoors which is great but also it's extremely loud, but once again opening night so they may have made changes since then. But you can sit outside get some food and chill. The menu is German based food which was interesting. My friends and I got a giant pretzel with cheese. It was cold unfortunately but it was opening day and crazy busy so not gonna fault them on that. We still enjoyed our evening! Oh and did I mention $1 ice cream!!! Yea self serve trust system. Super good, it does say adults only but with a lot of kids it does scare me a bit they'd get into it. But the workers seemed to be watching it pretty closely. What a major disappointment. The cider was not drinkable. Had no flavor and no body to it. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

When we arrived there were long lines and not enough bartenders. We waited 30 mins to get a flight and it was extremely overpriced. I paid $26 for a flight with a 20% tip. I personally think that is ridiculous for little samplers. Overall, it was nice to sit outside and the flight was good.
