When I arrived, the first woman I spoke with was very kind and understanding\. Unfortunately, the experience changed completely when another employee came out and told me that the reservation was actually for a massage\. I explained that I had not intended to book a massage and that it must have been a mistake\. I also explained that I was not feeling well and could not have a massage because I am currently injured\. I simply asked if there was anything they could do, especially since I had driven an hour to get there\. Instead of trying to help or find a solution, the woman repeatedly told me, "It was your mistake," and said that because the massage therapist was already there, I would have to be charged\. When I asked if I could speak with a manager, she told me that she was the manager\. What upset me the most was not the reservation mistake\. Mistakes happen\. It was the complete lack of empathy and the way I was spoken to\. I was already anxious and explained that I wasn't feeling well, yet I was repeatedly told that it was my fault and that nothing could be done\. When I finally left, she said, "Try to have a good day, ma'am," in a tone that felt very sarcastic and dismissive\. I understand that businesses have policies, and I understand that reservations can be made incorrectly\. But customer service and empathy matter, especially when someone is explaining that they made an honest mistake, drove an hour to your business, and is physically unable to receive the service that was accidentally booked\. Unfortunately, because of the way this situation was handled, I left feeling very uncomfortable, discriminated and disappointed\. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because a little kindness and understanding could have made a completely different experience. people just don't know the difficulties or challenges that peopl might be facing certain moments.

I really liked this because it wasn't too busy and I could still enjoy the other tasks I had to do throughout the day. It was great to start my Sunday at Asha and the start of my week! I experienced restoration of my well being through water and heat at Asha. The soak was nourishing and relaxing. This was my first cold plunge experience and I really enjoyed it. I felt awake after! The sauna was great. It was my first time doing that too. It was soothing and my skin felt so great after this whole experience. The customer service is great when you check in and out. I wasn't the only newbie and it was wonderful to have the kind staff tell us about what to expect with the lockers, changing rooms and showers. There's parking in the lot by the building and street parking. Check out this bathhouse for a relaxing vibe! I cannot wait to go back.

I believe her name was Rani? not sure of the spelling. Rani was attentive, QUIET, asked how pressure and comfort was, and largely just focused on the Swedish massage, instead of talking the entire time like my last visit here with a different therapist. So, for this time around, I appreciate that Rani gave a pleasant massage. Amanda is a rockstar and my wife loves getting massages with her. In fact, I get jealous because I wish I could have a massage from Amanda as well, which I could, but she can't clone herself for two side by side if we do the couples suite. This is a very cute spa and we love to support local business. I do see us returning in the future for self care treatments. My only concern is that when calling or texting to schedule for massages, I expect........ that whomever is discussed as a name within that conversation, that will be the massage therapist or therapists (couples) that are present day of. My only wish is for the pool/spa to be indoors year round, big wish i know! I love the hydro-shower! Omg, you get sprayed from the top, left, right sides and front! Drought in Cali? Forget about it! I'm getting this full on blast while showering here, it's the best! The facility's always clean and well-stocked. Kudos to the little things like q-tips, makeup remover, brushes, blow dryers, sunscreen, etc. Only thing I missed was a bathing suit dryer and plastic bags. They do provide a nice sized tote bag but that doesn't keep the wet bathing suits from dripping. It's a give and take, other spas have it but don't have other things. All service pros are helpful and friendly. This is definitely in my top-ranking spas. Nice job guys and gals!

The temperature of the room was perfect for me but a little warm for my husband but he runs warm anyways : ) He is very tall guy and weighs quite a bit but his girl was super strong & did an amazing job. I booked online, they called me back hours later around 4:55 to get a credit card on file, by the time I called back they were closed no biggie I call them back the next day. The phone does this weird ring thing and no one answers and the call drops. I try calling from my husbands phone, same thing. They call back sometime later apologizing and saying their WiFi was down so their phones were down. Not a big deal. Also their saltwater jacuzzi is out of service. Not ideal but not the end of the world bc we can use the hotel pool. Fast forward to a week later, I'm checking in early and getting the tour and find out that not only is the jacuzzi out of service but their sauna is too. Le sigh. I get my massage which was not relaxing (the masseuse was nice but moved really fast the whole time, except on my forearms) Hard to enjoy someone vigorously rubbing your back for 80 mins. No biggie, bc facials are always slow and relaxing and this next part will help calm me down. My esthetician wasn't ready when I got out of the massage (was still setting up) so I grab a snack, go to the restroom and tell my husband to enjoy the hotel pool. He pays and then goes to the pool. Facial time! I get in the chair and a scratchy hair protector was put on me and she proceeds to wash my face and put on a quick enzyme mask. That's the first time she steps out the room. I'm not thinking anything of it. She eventually comes back, wipes off the enzyme, and then proceeds to tell me that her heart rate is raising high and she needs to drop it, and I was like ok no worries. I was another min or two and then ask, hey should I get someone? And she says yes I'm having a medical emergency please grab my manager. So I step off the table naked (hoping no one is looking lol), grab my robe, see her lying on her back on the floor with legs elevated on her stool, then I run into the hall and say hey esthetician name is having a medical emergency and the manager and receptionist rush in. At this point I'm calling it and decide to cut my losses and go to the pool. Get the bikini on and am about to walk to the pool when the manager comes back in to ask if I want to continue the facial! I'm concerned this girl is going to pass out on me while I'm on the table, no thank you. She prob needs to go home! Why are you trying to have her work some more when she literally had a medical emergency, so I decline and ask again "is she actually ok?" Am told yes and then offered spf. At that point I go to the pool which was another horror story for another day. We return maybe 1 hr 45 mins later and are then told we will only get a partial refund bc the service was almost over, which I am not sure if this is accurate bc I was naked on a table with my eyes closed, not staring at my watch. At this point my flabbers are gasted. My bday was lame. I would expect a spa anywhere to offer a refund for a service that was not completed due to not fault of my own and if they really wanted to be nice, provide a credit to come back and actually experience a proper facial and jacuzzi. Or even offer to pay for a drink! Long story short, don't recommend coming here.
