Started as a customer when it had a different name 21 years ago. It is not the same owner however they still serve the same coffee brand. I love the coffee brand they serve! Their customer service is inconsistent which keeps me away. Each time I go back I regret it. Today on my way to work I stopped. I pulled up and was car number two, NO other cars! The vehicle ahead of me was a flatbed type truck. I sat behind the truck for 3 minutes before the chit chat ended and the vehicle moved forward. As I pulled forward the barista went to her station and the cashier took my order. I pulled around and sat behind the truck as the barista and driver continued to chit chat. I watched as the driver was handed his drink, the truck did not drive off. It sat there as the barista made my coffee. Once it was done, the truck pulled away and there my drink sat on the counter. It was handed to me with no thank you or words said. What a way to start my workday! Unbelievable poor customer service! I'm done with Urban City! read more

Went looking for a good coffee and breakfast sandwich place, and found urban city. Coffee and customer service- got a medium coffee and they put the right amount of sugar and cream in it. Coffee was good, not burnt and hot. The customer service was very friendly Food- ordered a breakfast sandwich since they were out of breakfast burritos. Turns out it was a microwaved sandwich and it was still cold in the middle. Would not recommend this place for food. read more

My coffee maker stands alone and depressed at the corner of my kitchen. It's gaze judges me as I leave every morning; no longer do I fiddle with the controls. It sits gathering dust and sadness. I leave with a smile knowing my favorite coffee shop is on my way to work. Am I a bad person for watching as my machine fades into the background? I don't know. But my morning routine has changed and my life is better. The morning barista has learned my order at this point. This may be an indication that I go too often but the convenience is welcome. The coffee is delectable, the baristas are wonderful, and the punch card gets you ANY drink ANY size. Big ups to the location, considering how many people drive past on their way to work. This is my second time through. The first time I had a vanilla latte and it was alright, not personally my favorite taste in coffee. I came back because I was actually looking for a place with good breakfast burritos that was open before I start work, so when this place opened I thought it was perfect. Unfortunately they did not have them in yet at about 5:40am. The plus side the lady working said they are made from a bakery on BBI so that was good to know they are not just a frozen reheated item. I decided to try the coffee cold and got an iced mocha with hemp milk (also a plus for having hemp) I did like it more this time but although I did like the shaved ice they use as well, it was mostly full of it and I finished it quite quickly. I am going to try this place out one more time for the sake of a quick locally made breakfast. read more

The coffee is great here. The staff is pretty nice, this is our go-to place to get coffee when visiting the in-laws while in town. We have been many times and have never been disappointed. I normally order a caramel latte, but on a whim i asked for pistachio and they had it! Super Impressive. We have also gotten muffins for breakfast here, they were tasty. My husband and I used to be regular customers here, before it switched owners. The coffee was great! We have been only once, since the switch. So we decided to give it another go. I heard they have good breakfast options. I ordered the breakfast sandwich that had fresh spinach and a nice size tomato slice, freshly made egg, and the bacon was fresh! And they used tillamook cheese!!! The reason for only 2 stars....the coffee was bad! Burnt and gross $17 for two 12 oz. soy lattes and a breakfast sandwich that was superb...kind of strange situation, but it happens....I hope they don't let my shots sit next time..... read more

I'm always on the lookout for good coffee. My husband, son and myself moved here from Portland. We have been to various coffee shops from poulsbo to port orchard with Bremerton and Silverdale in between. We decided to stop in looking like three silly goof balls (our kid decided we should all match shirts) we were in need of our Americano's and my son loves his chocolate milk. They made his 5 year old day with sprinkles and whipped cream which they didn't skimp on like a lot of shops tend to do. My son just loved his drink and we really enjoyed our drinks. We've been back many times since then. Always have great service and the coffee is consistent (Another thing you don't get at other shops) I believe their prices are fair. They have a great rapport with their customers. So go to this shop. read more

It's was a bummer to find out they've changed bakery distributors and no longer offer items like the ones pictured here on Yelp. I got a breakfast sandwich that was pretty good, but only choices are on a English muffin or sliced sourdough...I picked English muffin, nothing special. Tried an 8 Grain Pull Apart, not great...very dense and not much flavor. Got my nephew a Double Chocolate muffin, which looked very much like a Costco muffin. They only had one gluten free muffin, so my sister didn't try anything. We decided not to try any coffee or tea, so I can't say anything about their drink options. All in all, probably won't return. read more

An outstanding experience! Both the breakfast burrito and sandwich were delicious, I especially liked that they baked the burrito to make it flaky. The worst breakfast I ever had! I only gave 2 stars for coffee, otherwise it would be zero! I ordered ham and cheese croissant. It looked like dried up plastic ham on the inside, not edible! I also had chocolate croissant, it was dried up on the edges and filled with something like hot fudge rather then chocolate. I will never eat there again read more
