Have it another try and had a much better experience. The food was quick when you order from the tablet. There are a range of choices for $36pp on dinner/weekend menu. The place was clean and attracted many young people but also families for the shabu shabu experience. Food was fresh. If you don't want to order off the tablet they also during busy times have a conveyor belt of dishes. You can pull off and cook if you see something that you like most of the items on the conveyor about were vegetables or noodle items instead of meats and seafood.

Hot pot is always super fun for group dinners :) I had the split pot with the original and tom yum soups, both were delicious and gave all the toppings so much flavor. The staff were very attentive and quick to answer our questions. I also appreciated the sauce recipes at the sauce station, since a lot of times I don't know what I'm doing when I make my sauce lol. For dessert I had the cake, and it came with coconut frosting. It was surprisingly decent, considering I would never consider a hot pot place having cake for dessert. I'd definitely recommend Urban if you're looking for a fun group dinner experience and going for a walk afterwards in the Mosaic area.

My friend got baptized this past Sunday so we celebrated afterwards at Urban Hot Pot! We had a party of 8 and sat at the booth for 8 (four on each side). It was actually really uncomfortable (more so than inconvenient) to slide in and out, so I would recommend avoiding this seating arrangement if you can. Other than that, Urban Hot Pot was great! In the DMV, this is probably my top 2 favorite AYCE hot pots to go to. We paid $34.99 per person for the dinner/weekend pricing, which included the premium meats and options like ribeye and crab. Immediately after we sat down, we ordered our broth (each person gets a personal-sized pot) using the tablet at each table and went to the sauce buffet to create our own sauces. Lots of options to make it sweet, savory, spicy, acidic, or all the above. We got our food within 2-5 minutes after placing an order, so the service is fast to make sure we maximize the 90 minute time limit we had to eat. The broths and the first batch of ingredients arrived before most people finished making their sauce. I will say, it gets pretty hectic when ordering. We had one person ordering off the iPad making suggestions and seven people screaming "yes/no" all at once. I got the ORIGINAL SOUP broth, which is a pork soup base. It was creamy and savory, and only got better as I piled on the veggies and meats. They have so many options -- I didn't feel like they were missing anything I usually would like for hot pot. From the vegetables, I enjoyed the baby bok choy, napa, taro, and enoki mushroom. From the meats (land animals), I enjoyed the ribeye steak the most because it was much less fatty than the sliced US beef option, which was... too much. I put a few of those in and my entire broth turned into fat and no longer drinkable. The lamb was good, too. From the seafood section, I really enjoyed the fish filet -- I wish I ate less of the beef/lamb and more of the fish, which was tender and soft, soaking up the flavors of the broth. Lastly, our table got lots of fish tofu and quail eggs (and I mean like 20+ orders) which were all great. The lobster ball was pretty good, but not my favorite. Overall, we ate incredibly well and were very full. I tapped out after an hour since we did very little talking and shoveled food in our mouths the whole time. I had a great experience at Urban Hot Pot, I would definitely come back if I want AYCE hot pot in the future.

Stopped here for lunch on the weekend. The amount of food you can order and eat in 90 mins makes this place worth the $35 cost for ACYE (all you can eat). We also came on the weekend so the premium option was included, but i believe you have to pay extra for that option on the week day. We just got a bunch of meat, veggies, meat, shrooms, meat, fish balls, and dare i say... more meat. There is a variety of soup base you can pick and a sauce bar where you can make your own dipping sauce. Service was quick and fast. We sat near the conveyer belt, which rotates a variety of items. But typically, you order what you want through the iPad and they bring it out to you super quickly. Sometimes they will use the robot as well to deliver some items. Definitely ate our fill. Place had plenty do tables and everyone gets their own mini hot pot so that was cute. This location was at the Mosaic so you can park along the street if you are lucky or find a spot in the garage. Place is worth checking out

This all you can eat hot pot is definitely a top favorite of mine in the area. The various broths are flavorful and they have a great sauce bar. The meat and veggie options are great and you order through an iPad which makes it very convenient. Staff and restaurant are also delightful, making it an enjoyable experience.

Great food, quick service, nothing really to complain about. Everything was great. Meat was amazing. Did not feel rushed even going slightly over time.

I've been here many times and it's a solid location. I wish they made use of the old conveyer belt more but I like their speed and iPad ordering system. The staff are always pleasant. I would like more fatty beef cuts. However, they have a great beef tongue, larger dumplings. A great sauce bar and fantastic sage desserts.

Oh my gosh I love this place. The food is all amazing and I love that it's all you can eat (well in 90 min) and is a good price. I don't think I've had anything bad there the few times I've gone with friends. I love that you can order from the tablet at the table when you want and that you can create your own sauces at their sauce bar. The staff is always really nice and the restaurant itself is cozy. Highly recommend.

I love eating hotpot and this spot is in my top 3. They are a more modernized take on hotpot with an all-you-can-eat personal hotpot rather than one big family style. Great sauce bar with a good amount of different options to make your own custom dipping sauce. Ordering is done on an iPad/tablet which makes it very convenient to order more items or call for service while you eat. If you are coming here really hungry during dinner time, make sure to put in a reservation. Even on weekdays they seem to be a bit busy. My only complaint would probably be on seating areas. Especially with larger parties the booth-like seatings are hard to get in and out of especially if you're seated against the wall. The two people seating is much more comfortable and there is a conveyor belt in the middle of the store circling out different menu items while you eat so you can just grab from your seat.

My favorite spot in NOVA for hot pot hands down. I always leave here satisfied by the food. It does get very busy during weekends/evenings and this place doesn't take reservations. So be prepared to wait. It's AYCE for $35/person for dinner. You order on the ipad and the food comes out quick! There's also a conveyor belt that has food items to grab. I love their sauce bar with lots of homemade or build your own concoctions. I also ALWAYS get the tom yum broth every time and it always hits. Service is hit or miss. You would most likely not have much interaction with staff bc everything is done through the ipad. They do come by often to clear plates though. I have noticed that portions are a lot less this last time i have visited. For example; i placed 2 orders of head on shrimps and a total of 3 shrimps came out... I understand the need to stop food waste but FYI.

Love Urban Hot Pot. For approximately $35/person for all you can eat dinner (and I think roughly $21/person for lunch), can't beat that price! Service is okay... you don't really interact with staff except for being sat, staff who bring the food out, and getting your check. But with AYCE, that's kinda understood, else, they'd be running crazily around the restaurant. After visiting the sauce bar, where there are recipes for popular sauces (or choose your own adventure and build your own), dinner consisted of 6 friends sitting around the table, each with their own pots that ranged in spice level, as well as one gluten free (which is great the Urban Hot Pot has those options). It was family style when it came to the noodles and meats and vegetables. All in the middle and everyone grabbed what they want. It's worth at least just giving it a try, especially for the price! But make sure your entire part arrives around the same time to be sat!

I love Urban Hot Pot! the food is always fresh starting with the broth is great, the vegetable, meat and seafood selection feels endless... and the service is always friendly and on point. my husband and I go for date night at least 3x a month. GOOD STUFF!

Everything We ordered on the menu.

I want to mention I was meeting friends and never did we once feel like we were rushed at all. They were very careful to watch and approach in a perfectly timed manner. The food was all very good. The fried zucchini was served not at all as I would expect. Very thin, but good. The tzatziki sauce had way too much garlic. The fried squid was excellent. Probably the best I've ever had. Extremely tender, and the coating was not hard at all. The scoldolia (garlic spread) served in the center had very little garlic in it. It should have a lot of garlic, unlike the tzatziki sauce. The octopus was served with a lovely, what I believe to be, lemony hummus. The Bronzino was excellent. The seafood souvlaki special was very good. It was served with rice and Greek style green beans. My friends had the loukumades (fried donuts). They said they were very good. I had the galotopoudiko which was good--could've been a little bigger for the price. Will definitely go back. My only comment is for the prices, I would expect a little nicer atmosphere. It's a little cold and baron. The atmosphere at Nostos is better. Rather than acknowledging that the order was lost and suggesting an alternative, the server rushes the third dish (without any communication), and it arrives after the rest of my party has finished eating. The obviously newer/younger female server is then confused that I no longer want the dish and disappears again. At this point, we've asked for the check 3x times from 3 different people. Our request to hostess staff to speak to the manager was also ignored. When we finally get the bill, the never-delivered entree is taken off, but it's now 745-8 pm. When I finally relay this to the manager walking out the door, he then whines that he has been lied to! Come on, man, it's your team lying to you / covering up their mistakes, so you've got a big culture problem! Used to like this spot, but will never ever return. Ruined what was supposed to be a celebratory dinner by the incompetence and indifference. Somehow this still came out to a $183.03 dinner for 2 that I got to watch (2 entrees, 2 apps, 1 glass of wine, 1 bottle of sparkling water). In a rush, I left a 18% tip that should have been 5-10% at most. I've never been one to complain, but in this instance, a comp for only the meal wasn't delivered, which doesn't exactly inspire goodwill.

Then our drinks came. They were small and in little plastic cups. Wuhoh. Then our food came. I should have known it wouldn't be fresh. The price wasa little *too* good. When I asked about the catch of the day it was like four different things. I ended up with a buffalo grouper sandwich (grouper was one of the four things). I have had a fresh buffalo grouper sandwich in Clearwater before and that was in 2019 and I still remember it 7 years later. This buffalo grouper sandwich? Oh no. First of all it was this thin, flat battered fried cutlet thing. The breading absorbed the buffalo sauce so I couldn't taste it very much though they did bring me a lot of Bleu cheese dressing. The fish was bad. I bit into it and it tasted fishy and it was dry. Honestly if I hadn't been super hungry I would have just not eaten it. On top of that, I paid an extra dollar to upgrade from fries to hushpuppies. These were legit hushpuppies, but hushpuppies are small and how many did they bring me? 5. Are you kidding? Again, in Florida these are brought free by the basket. They're literally just fried up balls of corn meal. I think that may have offended me more than the bad fish. My husband went witb BBQ pulled chicken and fries and said both were good. So. Here are my thoughts. Would I come here again in the summer for fun vibes and good service? Yes. Would I set low expectations for my food and drink? Yes. Would I probably just order a softdrink and stick to something simple they can't screw up like a quesadilla and fries? Yeeeeeeeah.

This was one of the best meals I had, and I genuinely find myself thinking about Nue randomly…read more I was looking to find a restaurant to celebrate my fiance and I's anniversary and luckily was able to snag a late night reservation for Nue! We had the best time at this restaurant. Once we were seated, our waiter was so attentive to us. He also gave us great recommendations for food and drinks. My favorite entrees were the Vegetarian Chả Giò and the Vietnamese Udon. This restaurant does such a great job of creating Vietnamese fusion food. Their drinks were also amazing! The Cầu Vàng Sour was the highlight of the entire meal. I loved it! Our waiter knew it was our anniversary and he gave us a dessert for free :,) On top of that, the restaurant was testing out a new drink and they gave us one for free to try out! AND to finish off such a great meal, they gave us a card as well. Getting this sort of attention was the cherry on top. I cannot recommend Nue more. Definitely deserves all the hype it gets!

This seems to be a new sad trend :( There was a waiting area with tiny cocktail tables and I was able to sit there and someone eventually took my drink order. We over ordered food but I couldn't stop myself. Of course I had been dreaming of the crispy whole fish all day long. What was crazy was that after so many appetizers, we were too full for the whole crispy fish! Ugh! Now I have to come back. The baked oysters were as good as I remembered. Would get them again even though I have the same complaint- why 3 to an order? Weird number. The w other two apps I would skip next time so I can fit the crispy whole fish even though I liked them.

The place is warm, with tons of TVs (in doors and out), happy people and solid food special during happy hour specials. Giddy'up! The spot may not garner a 5-star recommendation every time, but this evening -- for Happy Hour -- BAM, it hit on all the right notes. HAPPY HOUR HITS: Draft beers ($3 pints starting at 3pm) & small bites menu ($2 off). The Cobb Lettuce Wrap (blue cheese yummy!) are a must have (4 per order) and the nachos (BBQ chicken) were a surprisingly solid table pleaser.

Drinks from the bar took quite a while to arrive, and there was also a long wait for our food to come out of the kitchen. I ordered the chicken fajitas, and they were definitely the highlight of my meal--hot, sizzling, nicely grilled, and very flavorful. Others in our group also enjoyed the generous portions of wings, fresh salads, and the jambalaya, so the food overall was very good. The restaurant has a fun, energetic vibe, but it was so loud that it was difficult to carry on a conversation at our table. One other downside was parking. The lot is fairly small and shared with three different restaurants, so finding a spot was frustrating. I'd come back because the food was good and the staff was genuinely friendly, but I'd hope for faster service and a better parking experience next time.

But I would say that I'll give them maybe a 3.5 because the food was good. I got the tuna toro really fresh, yellowtail with added cream cheese, and a salmon speciality roll. All was really good and I liked that they gave me free appetizers: the edamame and I can't remember the name of the noodle salad. I'm not sure I would come back if I'm in the area because there are many other Korean and sushi restaurants that I would love to try.

They had a 1 year discount so their most premium menu feast (Geobukseons) $389 down to $330. I have had several of these Korean raw fish meals where you order a set of raw fish and they bring out what seems like an endless amount of food. The amount of food was adequate for a party of 5, but I did not leave feeling extremely full. A lot of the raw things were quite fishy and not for my taste. The service was great and it felt like we had the whole entire restaurant rented out because of how empty it was. Not sure if I will be back, but I hope they can pick up some more volume in sales.
