What can I say about this place except that it is an Awesome establishment and I always have such a wonderful time when I visit. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is so festive and decorated and there's a whole other game room with things like giant jenga![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've only come for dinner but every time I've gone it's been breathtaking. The food is super affordable and delicious and they have specials every day of the week! I love their baked potatoes! Their quesadillas and pizzas are also a great deal and mighty tasty! Lastly, I have never had a bad interaction with staff here- the servers are always so friendly and attentive. The one we seem to regularly get is Derek and he is awesome- always goes above and beyond to ensure our meal is spectacular. 5 stars well earned in my book!

I went to Urban Mo's for the first time during the $8 all you can eat spaghetti night, which also happened to be during the Mexico vs Ecuador World Cup game. The space was packed, but the service remained quick and friendly! The $8 all you can eat spaghetti was HUGE and yummy. I also had a $6.50 yummy cocktail. Yummy drinks, food, and vibes.

Love Urban Mo's! I came here twice with my friend. We went here during pride a few years back and the latest time was for a show! They do shows every Wednesday and it's super affordable. It was my first time watching a drag show and it was the best experience ever. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were the perfect amount of tables and so so much fun.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My friend and I got tater tots to share (which were absolutely delicious by the way). I can't wait to come back here and try more of their food and watch some more shows!

Came here for happy hour and dinner. Amazing service from Becky really set the tone from beginning to end of our visit. We got the Cheap Slut Burger, Chicken Wrap with Fries and beers of course. The food was delicious and the music made it so much party. It's definitely always a party when you visit MO's.

Review is for Babette's Bingo! @ MO's. First time here for bingo. This is not a drag show with multiple entertainers. It's just a bingo event hosted by the legend Babette Schwartz. As a group we were busy eating/catching up and kept missing numbers being called out. There is no digital board to show the numbers visually and recounts were rare. Overall, Babette is amazing and kept us entertained. The crowd is so supportive and fun! Tips: Put in your food and drinks order early as they get busy and wait time for food might take longer than usual. Ours took over 30 mins. It didn't help when some of our orders went to the wrong table. The food menu for these type of events are limited. You don't get the restaurant full menu. Our waiter is very attentive and cute. For dry January, I ordered a soda and he gave me a mini pitcher of coke. Overall, we had a great time.

Saturday night, Pride weekend 2025. I'm so surprised how good the food was, how great the service was (Adrian thank you!) and how quick we ate and then out on the dance patio for a few more drinks. Urban Mo's was a great starting spot for our Saturday night. The burgers were delicious. The fries were great. I thought okay...a gay bar on pride weekend...good luck finding a seat, good luck finding something good, and friendly?!!?! Urban Mo's was all of that and more. We will be definitely be back! PS - We also got to meet Lexi Love from Rupaul's Drag Race. She was so sweet.

Seriously, I'd give nine stars if I could. The space in Hilcrest is cute, with a relaxed vibe during the morning and party vibe later on. We were there on a Sunday and the servers were all dressed to match a midday drag show that was scheduled for the day which made it extra fun. Everyone working was so nice, and our server was the exact right level of attentive. The menu is fun, with lots of great drink options and plenty of NA drinks too. We had breakfast, and I ordered the chilaquiles, which is a risk if you've read my other breakfast reviews. But in this case, while it was a bit more of a deconstructed vibe vs traditional casserole, the dish had the right texture and amazing flavors. Total flavor bomb with tons of sauces and salsas made in house. I was super impressed and can't wait eat it again.

I absolutely love MO's and have been a regular for at least the last 15 years. They have the best drag shows, food is exceptionally good for being a "bar" and of course the yummiest and strongest cocktails! Mariam T is my favorite drag performer and Becky is always my server and girl when we visit. I can't say enough good things about this place!

Got a deep tissue massage from a place in PB and she recommended MO's as the service is fast. Loved the tortilla soup and the chicken sandwich, fries were crispy and delicious. I also asked for the thousand island dressing, bleu cheese, ranch dressing. My only complaint was the music was way too loud and I sat behind the stage. Will come back when no music is playing. :-)

MO's is one of my favourite places in Hillcrest. I love this venue! I've been dined, danced, drank, and enjoyed drag in Mo's for the three decades it's been in business. Back in the day, I enjoyed the weekly ritual of Spaghetti and Show-tunes with friends which is still a staple of Mo's. The diverse drag shows and drag queens that perform here are exceptional! The long running Dreamgirls Revue with Chad Michaels is always professional, well done, and fabulous show. Mariam T. is absolutely wonderful! She's the ultimate wacky comedy and performance queen with the most incredible and realized costume visions. Her Lisa Frank inspired Bride of Frankenstein and Pride fits this year have been a couple of my favourites. The food is very California Mexican fusion. I highly recommend the nachos with chicken and the shredded cheese. Perfect shareable meal. You can never go wrong with their breakfast style brunch options either. My favourite servers, Danny and Danny, always greet us with a smile and a hug and fantastic service. Now for the cocktails...drinking in Hillcrest is not for the faint of heart of the weak of stomach. Bartenders like Pablo know how to take care of their customers. If you are a lightweight I cannot stress this enough stop overindulging and not making it to the toilet and soiling the bathroom floors for someone else to clean up after your foul habits! Be kind. Respect the community and the establishment. And for Pete's sake...tip the staff! I love you, Mo's!

Medium rare prime rib special on Wednesdays.
    Suzanna L.

Stopped by over the holidays; the decor was over the top with an abundance of teddy bears. Imagine my surprise when I saw prime rib on the menu. This is a Wednesday special for $29, and I had to get it. I ordered it medium rare but it came grilled on both sides. It was dark inside and I was initially worried that the piece of meat would be well done. But, as I cut into it, I could see that it was at most a medium, and it was tender. I think it's a faux pas to grill prime rib slices, but I think they do it as their way of reheating the (usually) pre-cooked prime rib. The meal was satisfying and well worth the $29, but my cocktail tasted a bit dilute.

Was invited to the Christmas drag show. Packed house and the servers did a good job but they were way over worked. Food was good and the show was good but there were so many people the performers could not properly work the room so the energy was off. Other than that a good time was had by all.

Happy hour sign that they will not honor

    Are minors allowed at Mo's?

It's a restaurant so they are allowed to join.

Do they take reservations? It's not for an event. Just a table reservation.

What time does brunch usually start filling up on pride Saturday?

The parade starts at 11am but does not pass in front of MO's. Most people come to MO's earlier (like 9am) for their great breakfast and mimosas or drinks before the parade. (It's fun and they usually have bottomless mimosas!). The parade turns…

    21 and over

Do they still have bottomless mimosas?

When I went at the end of February they did have bottomless. It was about $20 per person. They're not your usual mimosas because they're served in water glasses with ice. Refills are provided in pitchers with ice too so it kind of waters them down.

Hi there, assuming you don't show up with more than 2-4 people you are probably not going to have to wait.

When does bottomless mimosas end on Sunday?

Hello Joshua, Our bottomless mimosas are 7 days a week from open-2pm.

Are the bottomless mimosa+ brunch thingies offered on Saturdays too, or just Sundays?

Return Pecs in my MBL Vest, yes!…read more This all inclusive Bear and Leather Bar is one I'd frequent for sure if I was a local and will return to again whenever I'm in San Diego. Double patios. Double Bars. Plenty of room. Great happy hour. Cool events including cigar socials, 90s music nights, themed nights, a pool table, good seating and great service. The happy hour beer special was stellar. $10 for a pitcher of Bud Light I shared with guy. Plus 90s Night with nostalgic classics for this made in the 80s baby, was 10 kinds of perfect. It's so easy going and chill here, but also very social and friendly at the same time. It reminds me a little of my home bar in North Hollywood, Los Angeles (The Bullet Bar). Bartenders are amazing (including Dutch who I remember from his days at Redwing) and I even got to reconnect with some of my SD friends I haven't seen in 7 years. Nor been into Pecs since 2018. I've been here during San Diego Pride in summer (July), causal hangs in the winter (like now) and a variety of fun things. We've been in a bit this weekend. Including on our way to tthe "Bad Bunny Bowl"! But also Go Seahawks! Nice bar eats when available. Veggie friendly. Website could use a little modernized tlc, but their IG and FB stay updated. Parking isn't your bestie, boyfriend, sir, or someone you know well lol, but the true locals recommend a ride share, early times and carpooling. We drove around on a Saturday night for quite a while and lucked into a sort of parking spot without restrictions. Restrooms are solid. Seating around the bar area and on the outskirts including a long beach or two fills up, but if you're patient something will open up. They typically card everyone at the door so please bring your non expired ID since no matter your age it's prohibited to serve adult beverages to anyone. Pecs does it's best to be a great bar so let's do our best to keep it that way. Open 12PM til Midnight daily, and until 2AM on Friday/Saturday.

Restrooms were disgusting as well. There's one urinal and one toilet with no locks on the door so it was very awkward.with others waiting.
