The artist did a great job, and I was very happy with the results. However, my experience with hair was not the same. For the price, I was not blown away with the outcome. I also noticed that the upstairs area, where hair services were done, felt a bit dirty and not very well maintained. I understand it is an older building, but cleanliness should still be a priority, and some areas felt a little grimy. Downstairs seemed much better kept, so the experience definitely felt inconsistent depending on the service. Overall, I would return for makeup, but I would not come back for hair services.

Thank was so worried to have my hair cut by someone else. A friend told me to check out Signori Mani and I am so thankful I did!! I am always treated with nothing but kindness. They offer water and coffee (local from costal coffee roasters) while you're in the chair. The Salon is always very clean, smells amazing, and great conversation and music. Jessie is amazing and I always leave happy. She does exactly what I ask and makes my hair look better than I could have imagined! I always look forward to my appointment here because it's more than a haircut, it's a place I get to relax, unwind, and be pampered.

When I asked about pricing on root touch up/single process over the phone, the reception gentleman said it would be same as before, which was $107. Then, I checked the website that there were 3 tiers of designers with $60/62/65 on single process hair color. At my previous visit, I added botanical treatment which was about $15 or $20, so I think the receptionist didn't look at the details, and just told me whatever he saw from the old record and said it's same $107 without specifying what services I had before. So, when I walked in, I asked the same receptionist to clarify the price. Then, he said they no longer offer 3 tiers of designer's price, but only one 'master' tier price, which was $65 for root-touch ups/ single process. Shampoo and blow dry was $38, and they were required for the root-touch up although the website showed differently as shampoo/blow dry add on to the hair color was $21. Since I didn't want blow dry and wanted to keep the same price that I had before, I tried to ask if they could replace blow dry to botanical treatment that I did last time, then, not surprisingly, it was not accepted. Wish they don't mandate the customer for paying extra $38 for the add-on shampoo and blow dry on top of hair color. But it's the policy that the reception gentleman couldn't be flexible about. It has been a while to visit the particular location, so possibly I missed the opportunity to see some changes progressed; the lady I had my hair color left; website was not updated with new prices or information about removing tiers of designers; shampoo and blow dry add on pricing is removed, and full price is added to hair color. I've been a loyal customer on both products and hair salons of Aveda for more than a dozen years. It used to be my pleasant treat for myself for relaxing and enjoyable visit at Aveda salons. But unfortunately, I feel sad that I was not pleased about my visit at this particular salon even before my hair was done. I left without any service. Fortunately, my salon certificate can be used at any Aveda salons regardless of selected name of salon on the certificate, so I'll save it for later.

The salon is in a little house and it's very comfortable and cute inside. Tracey, the owner and hair person I had is super sweet, I really enjoyed her. She takes her time doing your hair, I never felt like she was just trying to get done. I love the color and cut she did, I personally think it's just as good as the master stylist I was seeing in West Ashley BUT it was LESS THAN half as much!! Whaaaaat?! I will definitely be making the drive out here to get my hair done by Tracey again. She also was kind enough to offer me a donut and chai tea (they also regularly have wine too!).
