We were seated on the patio--which was fine because we had our 2 year old with us--but it was 80 degrees out and not a lot of air flow. Our server's name was Kyra or Kyla--I'm not too sure because it was hard to hear her over the music playing. She was nice enough but there must've been sort of disconnect with our toddler's meal. Either she forgot to put it in the POS system and asked the kitchen to quick fire it or the kitchen was in the weeds and we weren't made aware of the situation. Nonetheless, we purposely put the kid's burger in when we put our appetizer in. Her burger didn't come out until 45 minutes after the appetizer got to our table! I'm not exaggerating either--515 we got our fries and then at 6pm a child's hamburger...on a Tuesday! Our entrees were finished and we asked for the bill before it even came out. I shouldn't have had to check on it as a server's job is to know what your table has ordered and make sure it actually gets to the table. I'm extremely disappointed that there was no apology, no discount or comp. to our meal because of this mistake. We won't be returning.

The parking lot is hit and miss with lots of eateries in a small lot with small parking spaces. If you sign up for their rewards program you get a free appetizer. We got the Buffalo cauliflower which was okay, again heavily sauced so it was soggy. But hey, it was free!

The presentation of the Happy Meal is very nice. The burger tasted very much like an In N Out burger to me, but with a much larger patty. It was good, but despite the similarity we think In N Out burger slightly edged out Herb and Sea's take. The fries were quite delicious. The oysters were large, but they're taste was meh. The same could be said for the bubbles/champagne: a large pour, but nothing to write home about. Due to the lack of food choices on the HH menu, we also ordered the scallop aguachile. It would have been nice if they would have labeled it something else, like a "deconstructed" aguachile. The scallop quality was very good, and the flavor was fine, but this dish is nothing what I expected; I expected a hearty bowl of spicy fish, like one might find at Ironside (Little Italy) or Mitch's Seafood (Point Loma). They had very few beer choices, but the Bulbous Flowers was delicious!!!

After spending the day at the beach, we were really just in the mood for drinks. I ordered the Blood Orange Margarita, which can be served with Tajín, sea salt, or no rim at all. The atmosphere is what really makes this place stand out. The ramen broth was "chef's kiss" with so much flavors, the crab rangoon were jumbo and the filling was delicious, but the chicken katsu was also the best we have had anywhere (including Hawaii). Since I'm a lover of information, I looked up "Harumama". It's a combination of two words: the Korean word haru, which means "day," and "mama". Together, it translates to "mom's daily food". The name reflects the restaurant's mission to serve dishes prepared with the same love, care, and attention that a mother gives to her family's everyday meals. How lovely is that?! Anyhow, I was able to find street parking and walked into a clean dining space with a nice atmosphere. It wasn't too busy. Again, the staff was very attentive and provided stellar service. My food came out pretty fast. I loooved how my Drunken Noodles had the right amount of chicken and peanuts. Overall, another fun flavorful time. I'm still a Harumama fan.
