We decided to try the summer prixe fixe menu. Between us for apps we ordered salad, stuffed mushrooms and zucchini fritters. So far so good. Two of our diners had their heart set on the chicken but they were out. For a Thursday it was busy because of a Porsche show outside. So we decided on steak, shrimp pasta and pork. My sirloin steak was tough! Could not chew it. I have had better at outback. Dessert was also a let down. This was my third visit there. The first time was lunch and I got a chicken sandwich which was expensive for what it was and I'm sorry to say but CFA version is superior. The second time was a birthday dinner where I had ordered a salad which as good. The service was terribly slow. Everything was a long wait. Dinners took at least 40 minutes, waters, checks everything was at a snails pace. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Maybe this is a place for just cocktails and appetizers. I'd give my experience a 3.5 here. Since my bf and i were traveling, we decided to swing by this restaurant because it seemed like a pretty cool concept - grocery store +restaurant. Unfortunately, we arrived too late on a weekday and missed seeing the grocery section of the restaurant. The good thing was that we were seated fairly quickly, and the waitstaff was friendly. Out of all the food my bf and I ordered, I enjoyed the wild mushroom chardonnay soup and the shrimp. The shrimp was sizeable, and the soup was good. After the appetizers, it went a bit downhill with the entrees. Now I must say, I respect restaurants that try different ingredients, but both of the entrees we ordered were not great. The items that came with the duck really threw me off. Although I liked the actual pieces of duck meat, the other items on the plate (funnel cake battered vegetable) were not items i would have eaten my duck with. The wild mushroom ravioli I ordered had too many of the semi round white mushrooms (maybe lions mane?) in the sauce, which was quite bitter when I'd get to eating them in my entree. read more

UP was a huge hit for all of my friends and I as we were all meeting in Melbourne. We showed up on a Saturday and naturally it was very crowded, but having a reservation helped and we were immediately seated. The atmosphere of this restaurant is very clean and inviting. The entire wait staff was very kind and attentive to what was being asked. We had a mix of meals from Asian fusion to salads and every, single, menu item was bar none incredible. The steak on top of my wedge salad was seasoned and cooked to perfection - my only regret was not being able to eat more. The only thing we had an issue with was asking for silverware multiple times over a 20 minute span, but after we got our silverware, we were good to go. read more

We sat outside to enjoy the live Christian band, and the atmosphere was absolutely perfect. great music, beautiful setting, and such a relaxed vibe. Mike was our server and truly made the night exceptional. He was friendly, attentive, and had such a positive energy that made us feel welcomed right away. He had great recommendations and you could tell he genuinely cares about us. The food and drinks were fantastic. Mikes service made for a memorable evening. Well this is in response to a previous review that I removed after two consecutive poor experiences at Urban Prime. I was asked to remove the review after the owner called me. I explained that I was quite disappointed in the service and the food quality. I also stated several times that I did not expect any freebies. We had a nice conversation and I explained that I often ate there two times a week. He persisted that I have a card waiting for me at the hostess stand. I removed the review. Life got busy so we finally returned last week. No card at the hostess stand. She took my name and went to tell him we were there at the outside bar. We received our food and it was very good. Service was better. He never came to see us. Before we paid the bill I went in again to check at the stand. She said he was informed we were there and that she would tell him again. I went back outside and on my way I saw the owner for a split second and the hostess with him. We were never approached by the owner. We waited 5 more minutes. Paid the bill and left. In anticipation of finally having a marketplace close by, I was pleasantly surprised to find out it boasts a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, a bar, plenty of wine to choose from. Hubby asked for the accompanying sauce for the fried chicken sandwich (which was barely edible, overly breaded and deep fried yet still dry inside) came with no sauce. I sent the bun back, asked for the creamy sauce that was supposed to come with the Prime Burger.... server brought the Tomato based sauce for hubbys chicken. Offered defensive explanation. Ok, I'm a man who can admit when he was wrong....and I wasn't....kinda. Urban Prime is the kind of resturant that, if we were in the West they'd say it's all hat no cattle. Which is truly unfortunate for a steak restaurant. Myself and three friends had dinner here a couple of weeks ago and the food was just mid. The Steak was uninspired and looked bland and dry. The appetizer empanadas were tasty but hardly 4 star. The Lamb Lollipops were very tasty so they did well there. My burger was decent, it wasn't extraordinarily delicious. Honestly the steak and burger I could have done better at home and I'm no trained chef. But where Urban Prime truly didn't surprise was the absolute mediocre service. I knew you'd keep the faith Urban Prime. So much for growing pains it seems Urban Prime has settled into a truly uninspired rut of mediocre experiences here on the space coast. read more

Service at the front desk was very poor, I made a reservation for 6 people at 6pm. We waited for 15 minutes to be seated at a table for 4 it was cramped. We were moved another table and waited 15 minutes for menus, a waiter, and initial waters. Urban Prime may be my new favorite place in Brevard County. The concept is something I would expect to see in a larger city like Orlando. I came here for brunch yesterday with a girl friend and we had a fantastic experience. We started with the bottomless mimosas. Our server brought us out a bottle of champagne with a carafe of orange juice which is exactly how I prefer my bottomless mimosas. I ordered the lobster roll and my friend ordered the steak sandwich. My lobster roll was one of the best lobster rolls I've had in Florida. It was full of fresh lobster meat but the sauce was light and didn't overwhelm the lobster. The bread wasn't too thick either. After brunch, I explored the market and picked up some ahi tuna and rose wine to take home. I will be coming back here again and again and I'm so excited to have this place in Melbourne. read more

Beware if you order this dish the tofu is super salty, no extra salt or soy sauce is needed. Aside from not loving the tofu, the other ingredients in the bowl were delicious, especially the rice. Finally got around to checking out the hottest new dining establishment that my brother & sister in law have been raving about in Viera. It has a very unique concept where you can shop at a gourmet market or dine at the upscale restaurant it's attached to (or both!) I didn't have the opportunity to check out the market yet, but from what I noticed, it looked like it had quite a bit of impressive offerings. We chose to sit at an outdoor table on a Saturday evening (1/13/24). It was a bit chilly, but luckily they had plenty of heaters at their disposal. Ryan was our server and he was very personable, engaging & attentive. He made great recommendations and was all around enjoyable to chat with throughout our meal. The vibe would have been just right had it not been for the unfortunate live music that was playing (I don't recall the name of the band, but it was an older gentleman singing). As the performance went on, it sounded more like drunken karaoke that got worse as the evening progressed and I couldn't help but feel like he must be friends with the owner because there's no possible way they would let him have the stage otherwise. Not the kind of music I imagined for an upscale, classy environment but it certainly made for some good laughs. The food & drinks were overall impressive. Their margaritas were yummy and the glass of Trainwreck Cabernet I enjoyed was extremely smooth & delicious. The shrimp served for the shrimp cocktail were massive and fresh, the serving of calamari was very generous and the sauce that accompanied it complimented the dish well & although a bit on the salty side, the red wine braised short ribs were extremely tender and flavorful. The one dish I wasn't at all impressed with was my boyfriend's ravioli which I found to be overwhelmingly fishy which made it impossible to enjoy. It can vary depending on what you order, but arrive expecting to pay high prices as most items on the menu are fairly expensive. I appreciate the wide variety of menu items (if you're in the mood for sushi, they have a separate sushi menu), stellar service and the visually appealing restaurant space. Besides the strange choice of live music and a couple blips with the food, I would certainly recommend Urban Prime and encourage anyone in the Viera area to visit this trendy new spot with a super unique concept. read more

I enjoyed my experience here. I found the restaurant to be quite nice, and the bar area was nice and was very busy. I thought the cocktail menu was very good, the menu had a lot of good choices plus a separate sushi menu. Our waiter was very nice and the service was pretty quick. I had the mushroom soup and beet carpaccio was delicious. My husband ordered the NY steak which was cooked well but he didn't like the cut of meat. Last Sunday I had a chance to dine at urban prime and it definitely lived up to the hype. The restaurant was filled with amazing artwork and the layout was beautiful. My server was Morgan and she was amazing!! Everything she recommended to me came out great and I will definitely be coming back to dine with her again. She let me sample the soup du jour and it was some of the best chicken soup I ever had. She recommended me the filet with the loaded bake potato and it blew me away. The food runners were very nice and friendly and always asked if I need anything else before leaving. Mr Ken was the manager on duty and he checked on me multiple times to make sure I was enjoying myself which I was. Great food and great service all around!! Continually terrible service. Was most recently seated for over 30 mins and no server came to greet us at all. No water, no drinks. Nothing. We ended up leaving and eating elsewhere. This experience was the last straw after our experience the week before when it took a long time for our server to come take our drink and food order after we finally complained of waiting. Once we got our food the server never came back until we finished our meal and had to tell the floor manager again that we have not seen our server for over an hour and were already finished and ready to go. read more
