Came to town to visit our son and he had visited this restaurant with his friends from work and knew it would appeal to me. It's definitely a hopping place because we could only get reservations at 6 or 8 pm so keep that in mind if you plan on going. Our table wasn't quite ready so we strolled through the marketplace where they have some gourmet items that you might not find elsewhere I was able to snag a jar of the Lobster Better Than Bouillon that I use for seafood stocks and my lobster sauce that I make with a special dish. I usually have to order it. I was a little surprised to see pasteurized crab in the seafood market as I only use fresh blue crab in all my dishes and I have a significant aversion to this product. I know stores use it for its shelf like and say you can't tell the difference, but you better believe I can. Thank goodness I have a great supplier where I live. They did have some nice fresh fish options. It closes at 7 pm, We got seated and it is a nice space. Really nice. Every table was occupied which is good to see for a new business. It is a little loud but unless I'm getting proposed to ( already did that) , I don't mind a bit. Our server was Ryan and he was warm, engaging and funny. Happy to answer questions and give his opinion. Would definitely request him on a return visit. I initially was going to get the crab cake appetizer but after seeing the crab in the market I folded on that one along with the crab and lobster ravioli. My son got the big old bone in steak with truffle fries. He also got the tomato soup. My husband got the filet with the salad that comes with it and fingerling potatoes. I definitely won best dish of the night with my seabass! I enclosed a pic of the description and it's one of my best top ten seabass dishes I have EVER had. From top to bottom, it was exquisite. I gave each fella a bite( only one though!) and they agreed! So that dish will have me traveling 3 1/2 hours just to repeat. The tomato soup with basil was attractive and it was tasty, but it tasted like a really light spaghetti sauce, not tomato soup. It was so seasoned with Italian spices that all you could think of while eating it was that this stuff would be great over meatballs or pasta. My son ate every drop as he is a fan of a good sauce! Lol. Both steaks were cooked perfectly and had a nice flavor but they needed some extra basting love as they were both a bit dry. We normally don't get sauce at the steakhouses we go to but I wish the server had recommended some because it was needed. So I think that needs to be adjusted a bit. I also think the lunch menu is perfect. I can't wait to try the grouper sandwich, lobster roll and burger! I would go today but we have to check out of our hotel and my Shih Tzu that sits in a stroller can't sit outside the restaurant. I completely understand that . We were there for dinner on our 50th anniversary with matching shirts signifying our event. The staff brought us complimentary wine right after our party of 6 was seated. The filet was incredible! My wife had the salmon Rockefeller which was also outstanding! During dinner the musicians called out our anniversary, and after, we were awarded a complimentary dessert! All of the portions were adequate and absolutely delicious! The staff was super as well, and made our occasion special. I had went here for the lunch special with my in laws and they had a lunch deal called 20 under 20. It is advertised on the menu as once you order your meal if it does not arrive to the table in 20 minutes or less it will be free. They later told us that the time starts once the first course hits the table. False advertisement at its finest. I had ordered the sushi and it was practically room temperature. We started the timer once we ordered and it had been almost 26 minutes when our food had arrived. If you go here I wouldn't recommend doing the lunch deal. Bartender was very friendly, skilled and attentive. Calamari batter was light and tasty, cooked to perfection. The baked oysters were mouth watering delicious and generous in size. Out of 7 orders nothing was really enjoyed by our party covering steak, scallops, or chicken dishes. What an incredible treat to have Urban Prime in Viera. We used to live on Eau Gallie and would have died for a place like this back then. We currently live in Vero Beach and come up to hit Costco once or twice a month. We are not fast food people and really wanted to try something different. The menu looked incredible so we decided to stop in. My wife got the burger and the kids all got the mini sliders, I got the pappardelle and wild mushroom truffle special. The burgers were seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. My oldest son inhaled his! Now for the real star. The pasta. Wow. Epic. An epiphany of flavor highlighted by fresh truffle shaved over the pasta by the owner, what an outstanding touch! My wife and I both agreed, one of the best pastas we have ever had. I grew up with the owners of Le Cirque and Circo and cooked in their kitchens as a child, this easily rivaled many of mama Egi's recipes and pasta dishes. Absolutely phenomenal. My husband and I went to Urban Prime for lunch on a whim. It was awesome. Devin and Brock provided us the best service and recommendations we have experienced in a very long time. I had the lobster rolls, which were very good, and hubby had shrimp carbonara special. He loved, he hasn't eaten pasta since he was in the Navy and went to an Italian families home outside Aviano AB in 1982. He loved it. Devon and Brock found out we are celebrating 40 years of marriage and surprised us with a apple bread dessertv with Happy Anniversary in chocolate and fresh berries and whipped cream!
