I think it cured by arthritis. Broth was flavorful. Had lots of anise and other fragrant flavors. Side dish of mung bean sprouts, thai basil leaves, jalapenos and lemon was fresh and crisp. Soup had a good amount of chicken oil floating on top. The noodles were perfect texture. Portion size is generous. I'm plenty full. Glad that I did not order my usual spring rolls as a starter. I finally got to try Pho Madame and it was just so-so for me. The food is expensive compared to other pho spots in the area, and honestly not as good. The atmosphere is definitely on point, and the customer service was okay, but not great. Right now Pho Madame is on the back burner for me. This new restaurant is right in our neighborhood so it was convenient. Friend had her usual, Chicken Pho, while I chose the House Special Pho. Having been to most of the pho places around the Roseville region and been to Pho Madame 4-5 times since the soft opening, I can say they are one of the best around. The place is well decorated and quiet. I have always received fast and polite service. I have had the combination pho, bun Bo hue, seared garlic pho, crispy pork banh mi, and grilled pork spring roll. Pros: -The broth is very flavorful and one of the few places where it tastes as if it is homemade/fresh. -Fresh herbs/toppings and the most tender meat of the places around. The only place to offer both cilantro and culantro. -Tableside chili oil and pickled garlic/jalapenos. Chili oil is very flavorful - Banh mi very flavorful and good pate. Cons: -I eat a lot so Pho size is a tad small for price. Priced similar to a large at most places, but size more similar to a medium. - Crispy pork banh mi was not very crispy Overall, I think it is one of the best options in the Roseville region and will continue to come back. read more

From Bay Area little Saigon on Tully to Westminster (OC) Bolsa to NY/NJ and Virginia pho has a specific taste and this pho did not have it. I was expecting a bone / ox tail broth simmered for hours with all the special spices, instead I feel like I've gotten an imitation version with rock sugar boiled in with added star anise .The broth lacked the umami and bone marrow taste and way too sweet. Went in today and was hoping it would be impressive since I was really excited to see a pho restaurant open up in that area. From looking in, it looked promising. Finally went in today with my husband. It was okay but for the price point, it was too pricy in my opinion for a bowl of pho especially for the amount that you are getting. The price ranged from $17.95 to $22.95 I believe, for a bowl. I've had better pho at a cheaper cost but also you will get more for a lower price. Portions are decent at Pho Madame but not at that price. I had the spring rolls and it could have been better. The peanut sauce was a little bland in my opinion and the egg rolls were not to our liking. I was pretty glad I didn't get any pho since I wasn't that hungry. I did eat a small share of my husband's pho to help him out. I can never finish a whole bowl by myself anyways at any restaurant. We decided to stop since we were curious about it when we passed by when we went over to Mountian Mike's next door and seen it was open. Other than that, I did think that the decor was nice. The restaurant itself looked clean and inviting. I also liked that they had some pickled jalapeños. The Vietnamese style homemade jalapeños are my favorite and not a lot of pho restaurants provide that any more. It pairs nicely with the pho and the chili oil thy provide at every table. We were looking for some food options late evening and saw Pho Madame was open. The inside was pretty busy, but we were able to get table. Inside is modernly decorated and feels very new. Nice they're still new the menu was limited for their soft opening. They staff informed us that they were out of beef pho broth but chicken broth was available. We decided on the chicken pho with extra noodles and the pork rice plate. Food came out not too long after ordering. Portions felt smaller than what I've had at other Vietnamese spots. The chicken pho was good, but honestly didn't feel like there were extra noodles. The pork was great and had lots of flavor. Our kids loved it and wished we ordered 2 plates of it. Extra star for that! Staff were nice and accommodating. There aren't very many places to eat in this plaza yet so it's a nice addition. Waiting for the doors to open after seeing a Pho spot so close to home, my family and I tried this place out the first day of their soft opening around 6pm. The decor was very modern, minimal seating for the waiting area, but more happy to see that all the tables were filled the first day. We already went in with the assumption that being the first day it may be a little rough with the service so we give them that. The servers were still trying to learn the kicks that they asked for our order without giving us the menu. We ordered the House special Pho and the Bo Ne. My in-laws are Vietnamese and they were pretty impressed as so was I with the Pho. It was rich in flavor and clear broth the only thing it needed to be as my husband always says is piping hot that your tongue get burnt. This time it was not there. We also had to ask a couple of times for basic needs like napkins and sauce dishes, but they were accommodating to our requests. We were satisfied with the pho here we were excited to try out the Bun Bo Hue. Came back the following week and saw improvements with having sauce dishes already with the silverware. But the Bun Bo Hue to go was unfortunately unimpressive. I live 5 mins away and bring the broth home lukewarm wasn't what I had hoped for. I had to really heat up my broth. The amount of product (noodles/meat/veggies) was pretty good for to-go, normally you get a small amount but from here it was more than enough. The sad thing though my Bun Bo Hue was "Not to Hue yet" like the flavor was there but both my in-laws and myself kept saying there was something missing, it didn't taste as hearty as what I am used to. Maybe down the road and I order again it will be better. A tasty addition to the Roseville area! We came here for Christmas Eve dinner. The ambiance is freshly and tastefully decorated -- nice wall decor, creative serving platters, etc. -- and the service was helpful as we navigated the best choices for a family member who needs to avoid sugar. I was excited they have banh xeo, which can be harder to find. It was well executed and delicious! I also loved the shallot-chili crisp in their condiment station. The accompanying herbs were basic -- mint, plus Thai basil I snatched from the pho herbs plate. I'd love a few more kinds of herbs -- cilantro, perilla, or culantro for example -- but as is this dish was great. Our kiddo liked her generously sized kid's pho. She also got a passion fruit soda, which came adorned with the contents of 1-2 fresh passion fruits -- it looked impressive and based on how fast it disappeared I infer it tasted good too. We ordered spring rolls, grilled mussels, and chicken wings to share. The mussels with makrut lime sauce in particular stand out as delicious and unique. My parents enjoyed the taste of the sizzling beef, though as older folks they had trouble chewing the more gristly cuts of meat used in the dish. I am totally perplexed as to why the ratings are so low for this place. The food quality has been consistent every time I come in, and I order quite a few things each time. Ambience is beautiful. Service is nice. Tried the egg rolls today, they were delicious, so crispy and flavorful! Pho is a little non traditional with the options. We've had the short rib and oxtail versions, both great! First time in and decided to eat in rather than to go, first trying their Bahn Mi. This is not the star of the menu, for sure, one of the least enjoyable I've ever had at a Vietnamese restaurant. The cilantro was a big problem, the way the Bahn Mi was cut left one half with a big pile of just-stems, making for a really unpleasant bite. A few chunks of roast pork that didn't have much taste, and something deep fried that was like soggy fried skin or just fat, again making unpleasant bites. The bread was not fresh either, so in all not something I want to eat again. Ordered a Vietnamese Iced Coffee and pretty sure they just poured a premade mocha from a can, there was an unpleasant metallic taste and overwhelming chocolate flavor also. Their Pho was aromatic and I loved the tenderness of the rare beef plus they don't skip on the meat. It comes in a large bowl which I thought was a good size. First of all, I came here to check this restaurant. This place is nice and clean. They have great features within a vibrant color. I think it's not crowded during the lunch hours. Services is alright and next time; they better serve the water right away. The food I have grilled pork rolls is pretty good (rate: 4/5) and the other menu is alright. I like their bread. I want to start off this review by saying I am extremely picky when it comes to pho. I've tried a lot of spots, and I don't say this lightly. This place actually tops Pho Hang and Pho Cali for me. I was honestly hesitant to try this restaurant because of some of the Yelp reviews, but I'm so glad I gave it a chance. It completely exceeded my expectations. The pho here is incredible and reminded me of the authentic flavors I've had in Sacramento. The broth stands out the most. It is rich, deeply flavorful, and has that perfect balance of fat that gives it a smooth, comforting taste. You can tell it was simmered for hours. The meat was just as impressive. Each piece was tender, soft, and practically melted in my mouth. Nothing felt rushed or low quality. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. We started with the shrimp and pork spring rolls, which were fresh and flavorful, and the peanut sauce was excellent, which made it stand apart from all the other Pho places. We also shared the bánh xèo, which was crispy, savory, and really well done. I came here after work for lunch because I've been waiting for this restaurant to finally open. I liked the aesthetic of the restaurant - small but bright and enough space in between the tables. They have a simple menu which was nice, not too overwhelming. I had good service (probably because it wasn't busy) and my meal came out within 5 minutes after ordering. I ordered the shrimp and pork spring rolls, Vietnamese coffee, and the house special pho. Spring rolls were a good size and tasted fresh, peanut sauce was delicious. The Vietnamese coffee was a nice afternoon pick me up and strong enough to keep me up for the rest of the day. For $18, the pho had a lot of meat and was flavorful, but I thought the broth was slightly a bit sweeter to my liking, but this will obviously depend on personal preference. My biggest complaint was that the broth was not as hot as I expected it to be. I like my pho broth to be really really hot, so as I was eating my bowl I noticed that the meat was not fully cooked through in the broth because the broth was not hot enough to completely cook it. This restaurant opened 4 days ago so I hope improvements can be made over time, but overall it was a good experience. I'm definitely going to come back to try other items on the menu. read more

Beautiful, new, and delicious! Decided to look for pho after taking our toddler to the park nearby and this restaurant was the closest one. We were happily greeted upon arrival and the servers kindly took all requests/accommodations without any hesitation. Our toddler had a great time eating noodles and the place was beautiful! My friend and I ordered pho from this restaurant for takeout, but my first impression actually came from the com tam. Even though it was to-go, the fried egg was cooked very well--the yolk was perfectly runny, showing that the cooking temperature was just right. The grilled pork looked juicy and well-marinated, soaked in sauce and very appealing. I was genuinely surprised that a pho restaurant could serve such a flavorful com tam, complete with generous toppings and bold seasoning. Meanwhile, my friend ordered the pho tai lan. Banh Xeo here is still best value in the entire area. It's still the exact same in quality and taste since we started ordering this. I think we have racked in 4x now. This time we requested additional veggies. They don't know, but this single dish at $20 feeds 2 people VERY WELL. I hope they don't know that because this is a great heavy lunch option, or just about right and enough for dinner option. They give you a handful of rice paper and lots of veggies (when ordered extra at a $2.00 charge) and veggies are fresh. They give you lettuce, pickled daikon and carrots, mint and fish sauce. We ask them to give us an extra fish sauce. We just add in chili garlic to the sauce and it's good to go. We have tons of rice paper at home, so we end making like a dozen wrapped spring rolls at home with this set-up. Super yummy and filling. Hands down best banh xeo batter. I'm almost certain they add in mochi in the batter because it's got this irresistible slight chew and it's crunchy even when cold. This Vietnamese pho soup restaurant has only been open a few months; soft opening. Nice modern decor in newer shopping center. Next door to new BofA branch office and new Safeway market. Pricing is a bit higher than other pho places in Roseville. We had lunch and their soft opening menu is limited. We tried the house-special combination pho which listed ingredients of beef, meat ball, tripe, tendon, etc. unfortunately the soup had NO/NADA tripe or beef tendon; we also ordered extra meat on the side for an extra $5.25. Also ordered their sizzling beef platter and just water to drink. The total bill was just over $53 not including the tip. Hopefully they'll improve over time because the service and ambience were nice. read more
