Tried this place for the first time a few weeks after they had just opened and I absolutely love it! Stopped in for a quick dinner while out christmas shopping. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was absolutely delicious. You could really taste the quality and freshness. Their house made focaccia bread with the red pepper hummus, and balsamic dressing were the perfect starter. We had the ahi tuna bowl, which had a wild rice base with the most flavorful seared tuna on top. Perfect amount of tuna with what seemed like a uni sauce on top. I never had kale on a tuna bowl before, but let me tell you, there is no going back now. The pastrami sandwich was filled with perfectly seasoned pastrami. The apple slaw and herbed aioli took it over the top. We also had the Cranberry brie. The turkey was moist covered with the perfect amount of cranberry, complimented by arugula with an extremely creamy brie. Our meal was finished off with the housemade cookies. We tried the double chocolate, hazelnut toffee, and cranberry white chocolate. They were warm with a crisp outer shell and a melty chewy inside. As if the food was not enough, the staff and manager were so welcoming and attentive. We will definitely be going back soon as there are many other items on the menu we would like to experience. I had the ago tuna salad and the ago was charred just enough, the dressing was excellent, there was just enough cilantro, and the bread was delicious! Great place!! I needed to stop for lunch and found Urbane Cafe close by. The menu was promising online so I went to dine in. They have self ordering screens which I love since I need to modify my order most of the time for certain preferences. Even though someone isn't taking your order there is still a person to check on what drink you're having so they can grab it for you and make sure you don't have ordering questions. After I sat down with my order number on my table another employee came out to ask about my order preferences to make sure everything was going to be made as I wanted. The seating area is nice and clean, very relaxing to sit and eat in. There is a tip option when you order and after the service I received I wish I had left a bigger tip, I know for next time. It was a really great experience and one of the best soup and sandwich I've had in a long time. I highly recommend you stop in and check them out!! read more

I used to go to Urbane any time I was in SoCal, so I was VERY excited to have my ahi tuna salads right in my neighborhood. I ate there with my family every week for a month before the holidays, and decided to come back for dinner last night. We were eating our way through the menu to try as many of the salads, sandwiches and bowls to find our favorites. For my 5th visit last night, I was very sad to find out they've discontinued the ahi tuna bowl that was so addictive. The focaccia bread didn't have that fresh sprinkle of salt on top, but otherwise my salmon salad and my kids' club sandwich and salmon bowl were tasty. Last night the food runner (I give an 18% gratuity for them to drop my food off and bus the table, you have to order on a kiosk and they keep the napkins behind the counter in the kitchen) her name was Andrea, came over and dropped off two out of three entrees and no bread. Then a woman was working her way through every table in the restaurant, harassing the customers trying to eat dinner, to sell them candy. My 16 year old heard her say it was a $10 minimum for the candy! I told her that she shouldn't be interrupting people's family dinner to sell candy inside, and did corporate authorize this? She said sorry to bother you and left the restaurant. I asked Andrea if that was a corporate-approved vendor, like for a charity collaboration? She said "I am not going to give your question a response" and walked back into the kitchen to hide. I sent an email to corporate on the spot, with photos of the worker and the candy sales person, since there wasn't a manager or anyone acknowledging us or even greeting us the entire time we were there. The prior appointments we were greeted, given free cookies, and just given the best service, I was set on urbane for our new favorite spot. It's been almost 24 hours, no word back from corporate, will edit my review once I get word. read more

This new Cafe is quite good. Food was very fresh and delicious. BBQ chicken salad was really good. Other person had a chicken sandwich that was excellent. Service was very friendly, a little slow but they were busy and again, the food was prepared fresh. Overall a great place we'd been wanting to try. Not sorry! We'll be back. read more

Visiting from out of town. First time trying. This location was absolutely awesome!! The workers here seem genuinely happy and were extremely nice and always smiling. The restaurant is clean, very new looking. The food was great! Love that they are baking the sandwich bread fresh. Also, they have delicious warm cookies! The young lady that took our order was so sweet, she was constantly smiling, such happy sweet spirit, she made great recommendations. Wandered in and fell in love. Plenty if choices for vegetarians like me, also a vegan option. So tasty, especially the portobello mushroom sandwich! I love pesto and this restaurant uses it judiciously. Even the salad is worth it: red or green leaf lettuce (not the same old iceberg), dressing is delicious and not too much of it (thank goodness). First time coming here and I thought the food was great! I like that they made it easy that they have a chick-in kiosk that you can just put your order in there or you also have the option to talk to the register and put your order with them. I've never eaten at this place before, my first time. The female employee at the front made suggestions and was so incredibly nice and welcoming. Her smile lit up the room! The place was very busy, but my to go order was ready upon arrival. I was also greeted upon arrival. The sandwiches are carefully crafted with quality ingredients. Loved going to Urbane in SD before going GF. Was excited to see them open in LV...and offer GF bread. Just ordered and it actually the BEST GF BREAD I have ever had! Soft and delicious.
