Urbanite is a great place to find unique items! Love the curated mix of vintage & new. Last time we stopped in they had dedicated more space to large scale art pieces, which was fun to see. There was a big section of very cool wall art & some interesting architectural models. Great pieces if you have the space to display!

Urbanite - lots of fun and unique items to be found here :)

Loved this adorable store. Large, fabulously presented and organized booths with everything from home decor to vintage wear, art to antiques...with lots of holiday decor and gifts right now. I had so much fun wandering. Ended up with a superbly soft beanie, ornaments, and a couple of plant decorations. It's definitely not a bargain shop, but it's so fantastically unique and fun. Highly recommend!

A funky cool collection of various boutique-y outfits and vendors all under one roof. They've got a ton of cool lifestyle and eclectic home goods stuff, art, antiques, even plant designers in here. It's always roasting too, so though you may see the same names - Land & Kamp, for instance - they always showcase different items. Indulge your ADD and take a stroll through the huge, old warehouse like space. Parking in back.

Urbanite is a must-stop when I'm in Portland. The sheer variety of things can't be beat. At any given time you will find furniture, home decor, housewares, art, lighting, textiles, plants, musical instruments, new and vintage clothes, bags and accessories, and pieces from local artists and makers. The space is huge and airy so even during busy times it never feels crowded. There are a lot of different sellers so prices can vary. Each space is thoughtfully arranged, and while the spaces flow well into each other there are also surprises around every corner. It's such a fun and eclectic place to shop. I also appreciate how invested and supportive Urbanite is in Portland's maker and small business community. They always have some sort of event going on so you should follow them on Instagram to stay informed of shopportunities!

Uh oh. Found a place with a lovely variety of furnishing, home decor, clothes, just so many things. Plus, my favorite Portland artist has her shop here (Rachel Austin). Picked up an antique tansu, prints and cards. Had to make myself stop, really. Coming back again for sure.

I will say the store layout was a bit interesting, with some areas that felt more cramped. It was fairly crowded when we went, so I did have to squeeze by people to make my way through the store. I spent some time browsing the clothing section and found several items that caught my eye. The clearance section was a bit disorganized and the sizes were not labeled clearly unfortunately. Customer service at Muji was friendly and adequate. The staff working in the fitting room area were especially helpful. It would've been great to have more fitting rooms available, as the line moved slowly and took up a good chunk of time. You are also limited to bringing in 5 items at a time but you can swap out items as needed. I ended up purchasing multiple tops and a few pants for everyday wear. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to browse the homewares section but was pretty satisfied with my clothing purchases and shopping experience. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

The quality of the clothes looks to be on the higher end as well, with a lot of signature type styling. My purchase was rung up quickly and the cashier was also very nice & friendly! Another store I wish they had back in Illinois!

I have never seen anything like it and genuinely, if your are like me and like to keep a pear, a few apples and an orange on hand but want them to last - this is not only amazing looking but perfect!! I did purchase a few smaller items. The first was a felt coaster which is so perfect! They have an array of different colors - my choice was a gorgeous burgundy and I loved being able to buy just one. I have coasters for guests which is a whole set but for my daily iced drink covered in condensation, this is so perfect. The card says they are made in Germany by a company called Parkhaus and how to care for and clean the coaster. The other item was a greeting card which I intend to frame. Vancouver Washington artist Claudia Moore makes the cards with foraged leaves and seeds. This is a great spot if you are looking for something unique as a gift or for your home. They also have some very nice cleaning solutions and bath products. There is a well thought, small selection of purses and bags.

It's an inspiring place that feels a little like a book maze in the best way possible. They have cool book events too. The day we visited had a book signing. I ended up taking three books home (something I did not expect to do). I came in knowing I wanted to buy "Martyr," which was right at the front in a top reads section. I loved the way each section was organized. There was a Monster Romance section where I ended up taking home a fun summer read called, "There's Something Fishy about my Boyfriend." The floors and sections are divided into different colors. My bestie is a huge history buff, so when we were in the history section, I was surprised to find myself really into the Cleopatra section. I ended up buying a book about her. Everything is reasonably priced and the staff rocks here. They're totally cool with you taking your time exploring and actually reading or looking at the books. We looked through some world record books and photography books. This place really has everything. When I checked out, the cashier was so friendly and was excited about the monster romance I picked. I love coming here. It's a Portland must for a reason!
