It's a cute coffee place located in a convenient area for people staying or visiting the area. They have some chill music and you can get together and catch up with friends. I ordered a matcha latte and a blueberry scone which were served very promptly after ordering. Would come back again for the matcha latte

I've heard people rave about the coffee here so I decided to stop by and try it again. I came here a while back and wasn't a big fan. Sadly my opinion hasn't changed. Their specials aren't really that special, they're very simple drinks like a caramel or a pumpkin spice. Nothing unique or fun. I do have to give them props for house made syrups but other than that there isn't that much for me to miss or crave about this place. The cups aren't anything unique, the drinks aren't creative, and the inside is simple.

I love chill vibe/atmosphere of this place. I love the decor so much and it gives off a welcoming vibe. The employees are also super nice here!! There is limited seating but I would say it's still a good place to meet up with people or study. I specifically came here for the walk to work latte. I had heard that was their best drink and the people were right. The sweet cream foam was so delicious. It was the perfect amount of sweetness, thickness and cream. It really gave the espresso the perfect amount of creaminess and sweetness. The espresso was also very good (according to my boyfriend, who is more of a coffee drinker than me). I really want to come back to try their sweet cream foam on top of the matcha latte. I wish I lived or worked somewhere closer to this area. First Hill can be hard to get to sometimes :( otherwise I would come more frequently.

Trying to find a new coffee shop to visit every time I visit Seattle and finally made it to URL Coffee. The baristas were all very friendly and quick to take our order. There's somewhat limited seating, so can certainly fill up fast. But I can see this being a great place to study or sit and read while having a cup of coffee. I had the walk to work with house made vanilla syrup. The latte itself is the perfect amount of sweet and espresso flavor, and the sweet cream on top is a little bit thicker but definitely delicious! My partner got a cortado and said it was good as well. Looking forward to coming back in the future.

Cute plants, I appreciate that the lighting is warm and not too bright.

Come for the ambiance and stay for the espresso and house made sweet cream foam! This coffee shop near Seattle University offers a few small tables and one large communal table for great work spaces. The lighting also made it feel warm and cozy. Their sweet cream foam easily beats out Starbucks. Service was super quick and the baristas were welcoming and kind!

Good place to get coffee and Matcha. I wish my Matcha had cream on the top like their other drinks. That is why I am a little underwhelmed, but the matcha is good in flavor. Good and quick service too. I'd come back and try their coffee.

Second time visiting this spot, but my first time trying the iced matcha latte. First off, very cute space. Great to hangout with people and even do some light work. Chairs/tables are very scandi/minimalist, but not at my level of comfy so I personally wouldn't stay for longer than an hour or two lol. The walk to work latte was great and not too sweet (obviously be aware that it has sweet cream foam on top). I think their coffee is a little bit on the bitter side, so it pairs great with the cold foam. The matcha was a big reason why I came back. I think it was a pretty great drink! It was a very floral, strong matcha latte; NOT skimping on the matcha at all. I think half-sweet is the perfect level, but my sister ended up getting full sweetness. They use a simple syrup for sweetening. Service was speedy and baristas were very informed. Will be back if I'm in the area!

Was very excited to try this place because it had such great reviews on social media, but we had a disappointing experience. As first time customers, we had some questions about two of the drinks, but the barista who rang us up didn't seem to want to answer our questions and wasn't very friendly. As for the actual coffee, I don't think the espresso shots were extracted quite right as it tasted very acidic. The cream top for the drink "Walk to Work" was good though. Interior is cute and vibey, reminds me of a section you'd see at IKEA.

Located in the border of Capitol Hill / First Hill, near Zig Apartments, this place is a cozy coffee shop that is known for their Walk to Work latte. For $6/6.75+tax, it is fair price, featuring a latte with sweet cream on top, which is fairly aesthetic regardless of whether or not you get the 12oz or the 16oz size. The drinks came out fast and it is convenient on the go. Location is a bit hard to get to without a car, and parking is a bit limited, but I recommend if you are in the area. FYI kitchen is closed Sunday and Monday so it was a bit of a letdown as we wanted to get some avocado toast along with the coffee, and I wish it was advertised in advance somewhere so we could've made a visit at a future day. Only pastries that they can heat up are available, which had limited options that didn't stand out for us.

My friend recommended this spot to me when she was in Seattle so I knew I had to try it! First thing I noticed when I walked in was that the ambiance here is so nice. Loved my experience here! The Walk to Work is yummy with a sweet cream to balance out the espresso. The interior is cozy and my favorite light wood, minimalist, artsy aesthetic. If that's your aesthetic as well, URL is for you. The employees are super nice and friendly as well, which made the visit even better. Would come back for sure! read more

I was apprehensive to try this place after I was so sorely disappointed by the neighboring coffee shop, but I am SO glad I did! I visited with my partner and we tried the iced Walk To Work coffee (coffee and cream) and an iced matcha latte. Both were PHENOMENAL. The Walk to Work uses homemade whipped cream instead of cream, so it's thick enough to hold up to drinking while you walk - not like the whipped cream you get at chains where it floats into your mouth in a giant glob. Instead, every time you take a sip you get a little coffee, a little cream and a hint of sweetness. The coffee was perfectly roasted and brewed, none of the bitter or burnt taste I get from the Big Chain That Must Not Be Named. It really is an ideal drink for sipping while you walk. The matcha latte was also reportedly perfect (my partner drank it so quickly I didn't get a chance to try it, but I think that speaks volumes haha)! Just the right amount of sweetness, and he was impressed they made their matcha by hand with a whisk, which he says just tastes better. The spinach pastry we got was just okay (needed more spinach) and the music inside was a little loud, but we were really here for the beverages and they blew us away. Wish I could give them 10 stars, but instead I will just highly recommend you check it out! read more

I've been to URL a few times and each time have ordered the "walk to work" drink which is an iced latte with a giant fluffy whipped cream on top -- truly delicious every time! The employees and owners are very friendly and the service is quick. Each time I've been they have had good playlists going and there's usually seating available with a few people studying or working on their laptops. The interior decor is minimal but aesthetic for your next instagram or tiktok post :). The location is a short walk from E pike street and broadway but it's well worth it. If you don't want to walk, easily take the street rail. There's also free parking on Sundays. Overall, I highly recommend URL coffee on your next trip to Capitol Hill! read more

everything about this place is special ! probably the best and most consistent coffee in seattle. as for the interior, design and aesthetics really sell an inviting vibe that isn't pretentious like some cafes. i've loved it since i started going two years ago and can also vouch that the owners are the sweetest people. so lucky to have something like this in first hill. read more

I finally stopped in here after meaning to for months - such a great little shop! The ambience is warm and inviting and everyone working there matched that vibe. I ordered a mocha and a spam musubi from their special/temporary menu due to, I think?, an issue with the stove. The spam musubi was YUMMY. I have had many musubis in my life and this one was perfectly seasoned with a hint of sesame, the seaweed wasn't too difficult to bite/cut through, and the spam was well cooked. I had to stop myself from going back to get another. It was not at all what I expected from a morning coffee run but a very pleasant surprise! I came to Seattle a few months ago and to this day I am still dreaming about the walk to work latte. It is so good, perfectly creamy, and sweet, the coffee is it too strong. I've definitely tried many different coffees with a cream top before but this one takes the cake. It is genuinely a must try and I cannot wait to go back to Seattle just to have this coffee. read more

Some of the best espresso I have ever tasted, no exaggeration. My partner picked up an iced oat milk latte for me and an iced black americano for himself. They use Califia oat milk and it's fantastic with the espresso. I liked how the espresso topped the iced oat milk and wasn't stirred in so I could get a really good sip of the espresso. My partner's americano was so so good I almost swapped him for my latte. The space is welcoming and he said the service was friendly. Go here! read more

Support local business. Love the coffee and breakfast was healthy and delicious. Only difficult thing is finding parking. Right next to Seattle U so it took a while for me to find a spot a couple of blocks down. Street parking only and the streets around there are confusing. read more

I was pretty disappointed coming here. The seating and the vibe is great but the coffee was just bad for the price. I paid nearly 7 dollars for a standard iced Mocha and it was honestly just watery milk. You can't up-charge 1-2 dollars over your competitors and not train your baristas properly. Also the girl next to me brought her own outlet splitter because she knew there weren't going to be enough plugs just get one please. 1 or 2 plugs is not enough for that massive table. read more

I've been here for the last three days. Amazing, very kind staff who are so welcoming right when you walk in. I've gotten the apple prosciutto baguette sandwich twice now and the signature "walk to work" coffee with an almond milk base three times! The cream on top of the coffee is rich, so I ask for half and it's really great. I'll continue coming here for the rest of my stay in Seattle read more

A friend recommended we stop by, I myself am not the biggest fan of small coffee shops. The coffee always seemed blander to me and the pastries were hit or miss but URL changed my mind. Coffee was delicious, I can't remember exactly what I got but it was a popular one... I had a chocolate croissant: light, fluffy, yummy chocolate. Seemed like a study spot, as a student myself I always appreciate a good study spot but as a consumer just wanting to sit down it felt slightly crammed and of course students sat there for awhile. Which is totally fine but if you're looking for private, intimate coffee spot this isn't the place. Owners recognized my friend and their immediate attention to him and their kindness instantly warmed my heart. I love owners/employees who recognize their customers. They turned to me and welcomed me with the same smile they gave my friend making me feel safe and welcomed. Stop by and grab a coffee, you won't regret it! read more

Cozy spot perfect for rainy day coffee. Calming atmosphere and well-kept space with comfortable seating. We've had the Farm Club, Turkey Avo Salsa Verde, and the Build Your Own. We both like how you can choose what bread you want, whether you want it toasted, pressed like a panini, or regular. You can adjust your toppings. For someone with a few food allergies like me, this is super helpful. We ate our sandwiches there as the place has good seating, is clean and airy, and the sandwiches are really tasty when they're freshly toasted or pressed. The chili sauce is definitely spicy if you can't handle spice so beware on how much you're using if that's the case. I think fried oysters can be a hit or miss for me, sometimes the interior can feel too dry and feel kinda of mushy-like, like I'm eating bread rather than seafood. The kettle chips were lightly salted so it was the perfect combo with the dip. Clam chowder: wow I absolutely loved this! This is different than any other chowder I've had. While I love a white creamy chowder from your typical seafood places, the base being a fish stock definitely brought out the seafood flavor vs a white chowder feeling like a cream base. This chowder still felt creamy and rich without the seafood flavor being overpowered. Rockfish bowl: the crab rolls were sold out by the time we made it to the register so we opted for this instead and I am so glad that we did. I didn't really expect this to blow me away but this was such a refreshing dish that balanced out the fried dishes we got. It used viet flavors that you may typically find in a banh mi which made it refreshing and had great texture from all the different fresh ingredients and fried garlic. I also loved how the fish came in patty form mixed with pork, it was flavorful and moist. I love any type of fish tofu/patty, I think it really makes fish flavorful when it sometimes can have a really mild flavor. I'll definitely be back to try the crab rolls!

For my bowl, I chose quinoa, romaine lettuce, and chicken. They had temporarily run out of chicken, but thankfully a fresh batch came out after only a few minutes, which I appreciated. I also noticed that the tables inside were pretty dirty, so we decided to sit outside instead. The outdoor seating was much more enjoyable anyway. As for the food, I thought it was good overall. I liked that everything tasted fresh and seemed to be made with wholesome ingredients. The vegetables were crisp, and the bowl felt healthy and filling. My biggest complaint was the chicken. It wasn't seasoned very much and tasted pretty plain, so I found myself relying on the sauce to add flavor to the meal. Overall, the food was decent, but the customer service and cleanliness left a lot to be desired. I don't think I would return to this particular location, but I'd be willing to give another Sweetgreen a try in the future, especially to test out some of their wraps or other menu options.

Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. This place rocks!! I have never seen a cleaner coffee shop. It's spotless on the inside. Not sure if this is a family run business but it gives the vibe with how much care they put into each drink. I noticed the machine they are using is a La Marzocco and is beautiful. The baristas knew how to pull perfect shots and make amazing silky foam. I got a iced mocha and my daughter went for a hot vanilla matcha latte. We ordered two of their chocolate chip scones which are egg free. The scones are unique in they almost have a shortbread texture and it works so well. next time I will order two scones for myself. Excellent health dept rating also which is important to me. Came here on a weekday morning and the place was quite full, although seats free up fast. We got a hot "Walk to Work" latte and an avocado toast, which comes with a side of egg and salad. Both the coffee and avocado toast were very good. There is one long communal table where most people seemed to be working, but there are also a couple of seats by the window.
