**Based only on eyebrow threading, cleanup and facial Best bang for your buck- $3 for eyebrow threading! The women are very quick and efficient. They always have like 7 or 8 women working there. Within minutes, my brows returned back to their semi-thick, neat, and natural arches. It's awesome that the interior is clean which is often not the case when you go to many parlors. As for facial, I get alot of whiteheads and they actually put effort to manually extract them. Overall, I like their work and price, I will be back. read more

I have gone there many times for threading. They fo a decent job as long as you guide them. Once this person kept convincing me to use wax on my face n i told them i cannot. But they said "it will be very smooth " well it wasn't because i knew wax doesn't work for me. She kept waxing the same spot n i ended up with scabby skin. I decided not to listen to their advice n just guide them on what to do. I wanted to get waxing done on my body, so i got a patch test done to see which one suits me. A week later i went for the waxing, n i told them that i need to use this particular one. All of them refused to do it because it was time consuming. There was confusion beyond humiliation. And one of the employees was constantly telling everyone to wax her underarms before the customers. Which was completely beyond my understanding. I did end up getting the service but they leave the wax on some spots n they it will come off on its own. That's not very tidy. read more

First of all, they never told anyone to take a number so the line was a hassle - people were confused about who got there first. Second, the people who work here are the most unprofessional and rude people I've ever seen. The lady who did my upper lip made me bleed in several parts. Here's the funny part, she proceeded to tell that it was my fault AND NEVER APOLOGIZED! As I was leaving, I said "thanks for the apology" and she said rolled her eyes at me (lol). No one else that worked there thought it was a good idea to jump in and apologize for my inconvenience. Instead, they talked and laughed amongst themselves as if I do not understand their language. Lady finished mine eyebrow in 2 mins, it was so quick that I felt like she just wanted to increase her count for number of eyebrows done that day. I am not much of a review person, but I got my faced waxed at urvashi, and I got a staph infection. Please do not go here, they do not sanatize their hands after switching from customer to customer. Also the wax stick just sits in the wax holder. The infection is all over my face exactly where they used the wax. Upon calling the owner she was not sympathetic or sorry for actions. They are so disorganized... ladies waiting on chairs for simple threading... some working asking another worker to call someone who can come do a facial. Why don't you pick up the phone and call. One lady actually had her kid riding around on a scooter. I walked in at 2:11pm for upperlip threading and walked out at 2:52pm. I left money on the counter because the lady doing my upperlip Was so slow. God forbid. This place is garbage. I don't expect a lot, but be honest about the time it takes. This place is cheap but most of the services are below par. It's always filled with customers (thanks to 3$ eyebrow deal and walk-ins) so the ladies working there don't get rest I would assume. They don't wear gloves, wash hands between clients. It's disgusting that the lady would move from on client to the next on the chairs without as much as putting on some gloves. Let me start off my saying I hate leaving negative reviews for businesses. In fact, I don't think I've done it before. That being said, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I'm a local to the Bellevue area and have tried out almost every eyebrow waxing/threading option on the Eastside (my eyebrows grow back almost fully within a week!). I think this is the worst threading place for eyebrows ever. Their service and sanitary conditions are also horrible. I've been here 5 times because I liked the price and the fact that it's walk-in (I have a lot of last minute events). My first visit - I was seated to a lady who was old, wore glasses but didn't use them to see, and didn't speak english or understand me. I explained I just needed them cleaned up so to not remove any extra hairs and to please make sure to keep them thick. She did my first eyebrow and did the exact opposite. She rounded out my arch so that I barely had one anymore. When she showed me the eyebrow I almost started crying. The owner girl came over and kind of evened out my eyebrows. My second visit - I had a last minute interview and needed to get my brows done but my usual place was all booked up. I went in and asked for the owner to do my brows. She did them very well except she took off almost all the hair on one of my brow's "tail" leaving me with a very short eyebrow. My third/fourth visits - I promised myself I would only get my eyebrows done if the owner was there. She was there one time and the other time this woman who PROMISED me she wouldn't thin out my eyebrows or reshape them did them. They looked okay. My fifth and LAST visit - I go in and ask for the owner and they have a very young (almost 12 year old) girl at the receptionist area. She doesn't know the prices of any of the things and she tells me the owner isn't here. I have another last minute event so I decide to take a risk and get my eyebrows done here. While waiting, the girl and a lady that works in the wax room begin gossiping in Hindi about a customer that just walked in. I speak Hindi too and find this so rude and unprofessional. The lady comes over and doesn't speak english so I explain to her in Hindi that I want my eyebrows thick and just cleaned up. When she finishes my eyebrows are thin and flat (she threaded and removed SO MUCH hair and the top of my arch is completely gone). I've never seen my eyebrows so thinned out or in this weird round U shape. I ask her what she's done and point to my completely different looking eyebrow she hasn't touched. I want to cry and she tells me she hasn't touched anything but the extra hairs. She finishes my eyebrows and I have two completely different eyebrows because she didn't chop off this eyebrow's arch or round it out. I have tears in my eyes as I go to pay the cash register where the young girl receptionist and waxing lady stand talking about me now. I ask them in hindi what they want from me and they reply embarrassingly with "oh nothing.". I left this place in tears and will never go back or let any of my friends go here! I asked for the owners number, to talk this through, and was given the store number and an invalid number. I would add a photo of my eyebrows but they look so bad that I don't want to show my face. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE. Don't go here unless you want 2 completely different eyebrows. For $3 more you can go to QT Salon (I've been going here for 6 years and have never had a bad eyebrow experience) a few blocks down and get professional service, almost the same pricing, a really clean and sanitary experience, really kind and talented salon women, and not have to go through what I just went through. read more

BEWARE! If you're going just for the $2.99 eyebrow threading, you're fine but I requested a bikini wax and I was hustled into paying much more than expected. These ladies kept telling me, don't worry, we give you good price, some package rate if I got a face massage; the lady who did my bikini wax forced me to get a Brazilian wax when I just wanted a standard wax. I kept telling her I preferred the standard and she wouldn't listen. I was expecting a $50 charge at most and was charged $120. I was so angry plus that face massage is a sorry excuse of a service. Don't waste your time here for other than a $2.99 eyebrow wax. When I kept asking for prices the woman kept saying she couldn't say out loud to avoid trouble with other clients getting upset because they were going to give me such a great rate. Bologne!!! I'll never come here again. In response to owner's comments; Your staff that day and maybe you were there; did not display that even care. I really did not appreciate the way the, supposed owner, was trying to sell me services. Got my eyebrows done for 2.99 they did an awesome job. Then she asked my if I wanted my white heads removed for my nose which was 5 bucks and an eyebrow tint for 7 totaling to 15 dollars even. Amazing deal if you ask me just make sure to ask how much are the extra services they ask you along the way while they are doing you're eyebrows cause that's how they make more money ( obviously) read more

My experience at Urvashi Beauty Studio and Spa (BELLEVUE) was truly one of the worst I've ever experienced in my entire life. Bad service, and staff was very rude. Only owner did a great job doing threading & waxing, and with others two times I walked out with a disaster. The lady waxing me had no formal training, unprofessional and caused burns on my hands and legs. I asked her about the burning skin, she simply said that's fine; you can apply cool gel and it will go away in next day. Ridicules response by the staff, she burnt many places on my hands and legs. If the staff is not trained enough, then they should not be allowed to do experiment on customers. This place is not cheap enough to withstand this sort of service. Spend a couple of dollars extra somewhere else for a derby job at least. I'm never going back. read more

I had my lash extensions done here , 2 days before going to India. I was told it'll stay on for a minimum of 2 weeks and I took immense care of them. To my surprise they stayed on for 5 days to be exact. I've also been told 1..2 lashes falling out is common but I was not been told that they would simply shed off!!! And now that I'm in India, I can't even go to them and tell about how hard and frisky their lashes are and how heavy they felt. Quality was super low and the way my lashes were falling out was very disturbing to see. It was a definite waste of my money. Now I don't even have my original lashes on properly. read more

Yesterday was the first time I went there. I regret my decision, i wanted to get the waxing done for arms and legs. The two ladies came by sharing the work and doing at the same time, they literally pulled my hair. I was in a horrible pain they don't care about skin and such an inexperience and careless job they did. One of the lady was laughing through out the process and asking me how do I feel. As beauticians they should be gentle and make customers feel pleasant about their experience but this is a total NO for me. If you care about your skin please don't go. I have been getting eyebrows threaded here for over a year and never had any concerns. Most of the people working there are very polite and accommodating. In the beginning, I was worried about getting facial here and but the owner assured that best service will be provided and she kept her words. So far, I have taken about 7 hydro peel facials and have been quite satisfied with the service. Once I went there without taking an appointment for a facial, which resulted in a long wait and the owner apologized for the long wait, which shows accountability and responsibility for fixing the issues in their system. read more

I have had the worst experience every time I come to this place. I have came back about 3 times after the first time because I haven't found a good treading place on the east side. But I would rather drive to Renton to get my brows done rather than come to Urvashi. They are not clean they take money from clients and then touch your face without cleaning their hands which is so nasty. I have asked them on every occasion to keep my eyebrows as thick as possible and they will just act like they hear you but hack all of your brows off with no regard to anything you say.They will try to convince you to get your upper lip done even if you dont want to. Then they try to get you to waste your money on the facials that I'm sure don't do anything positive for you skin. I got my eye lashes done the first time I went there and they started falling out after one day. The women aren't friendly that work there. I dont suggest anybody come to this place unless you want uneven eyebrows and dirty hands in your face. read more

SAVE YOUR HEALTH AND TIME! Worst people with worst attitude, even worse time management, bad treatment of customers (they treat you like cattle) and I am pretty sure the place is not health certified (do not wash their hands between customers and always touch the threaded part of the skin, eww) neither are any of the women working on a valid work permit (barely speak english). Went here because of the price, waited for an hour, got up to the chair, waited there another 30 minutes, the lady who was doing my eyebrows was just chatting with everyone around and leaving every 2 eyebrow hair trimmed. Literally went blind holding my eyelid down.. Worse part - says "with my growth I should get very thin brows and thick ones won't suit me". Felt so bad cuz I have always been getting thick ones.. After the threading went on to realize she said that because she messed up one of them and made it thin!!! :o :O.. She did not even acknowledge the stark difference between the two brows (isn't this her daily job??) and said they look fine. I asked her to trim the other one and now they both mis-match. Sad it runs because it's the cheapest. For folks who are still willing to risk it - things to remember: 1. Always disinfect your face, body, etc after any procedure here. 2. Always ask for the owner to do anything - she is the only efficient one. 3. Make sure you are given the time you deserve because even though you are the customer, sometimes it will feel like you are serving them. read more

I went for underarms. They didn't do well and if you ask they are telling some stories. They charged me 13$ instead of 9$ for regular wax.

Go there if you don't care about yourself. Horrible customer service as they'll make you all sit simultaneously even when a single person is actually doing, and give you a fake feeling of attending you faster. But instead each beautician attends 2-3 customer at the same time and does a horrible job at it. Also, most of them don't understand English and don't care about your concerns. They gave me a bad cut on my eyelid while eyebrow threading and after that left me without even cleaning up for another client. Upon asking for aloe vera gel for soothing she said put it yourself since her hands were dirty from the other client. I have been to numerous parlors in this country but haven't seen a service which is more unprofessional than this. And to be honest this was not my first time here and I used to go there only because it was the closest but not anymore. This was the last time I'll let them treat me like shit! Also, their waxing rooms are super dirty and unhygienic. They are always in a hurry to get you out of that place so they just do it fast and not properly. Extremely rude people. They think customers don't understand when they talk in their language and make them wait and take other customers before you simply because they were gonna use more services. Also, extremely rude staff. When I went there, They told me it was gonna be 15 min wait and I could see there was only one lady before me in their salon so I believed them. After 15 mins, the girls kept on telling me to wait for another 15 min, 5 min etc. they did not even have that many customers and also I came way before many of those customers. After an hour of waiting when my patience literally went out and I asked them if they were interested in doing my eyebrows or not, they replied really rudely.
