I have a 33 yr old air system it was only cooling off morning and later in day the worker kept finding different parts that were bad 1st it was one then two then more by the time we said no and paid the charge for service 161.00 now it doesn't work cooling at all I don't feel the worker was experienced enough it was constant trips to his car now no cooling comes out and am disappointed complete waste of our money we are not rich people read more

scott performed a routine maintaihence on my burner in november, 2023. I was pleased with his work. he was professional and thorough (apparently he has since left the company). I called for service on 4/3/24. Ronnie came and replaced the triple aquastat and zone valve. since he finished, my heat and hot water has not been the same. he returned once, but did not attempt to fix the problem. i paid over $900 and will now have to call another company to fix my issue. I signed up for a yearly contact on 4/3/2024 and cancelled on 4/92094. I would not recomment this company. read more

Do not sign a contract with this terrible company. I signed a contract and they refused to honor it. The owner, "Ronnie," is never available and the entire company is run by "Alexa" who only works part-time! She is not licensed as a plumber or electrician but she tells them what to do and directs everything. Some of the tradesmen employed here seem to have other concerns and their work is less than acceptable. I had to employ another company to complete the work in a satisfactory and workman like manner. If I could give 0 stars I would. Plumber walked in the door, very nice, put on slippers over his work boots. Looked at the ball valve that was leaking, was looking at it for a while. Then called back to his office to let them know what he needed. Said someone would call you with a price, and that he didn't have a ball valve on the truck. What plumber doesn't have a ball valve on the truck. Just him walking in the door cost me $161, which doesn't go towards the repair. I never received a call that day, I called the next morning, very nice lady said management was looking at the case, and she would call back in a bit. When she called back, I was told that the repair would cost %750, and that it would take a few hours to do the job, I wasn't born yesterday, any decent plumber should be able to replace a ball valve in 30 minutes. I told her I would get back to her, Called someone else, $275. I should have never even called US Air Conditioning; I was trying to go local. STAY AWAY!!!!! read more

Requested a quote to replace AC's in the living/dining and Master Bedroom. The quote I received was a flat number...no breakdown of material and labor. I requested a second quote showing a breakdown in charges for the unit, auxiliary parts and labor. They refused to provide. If you can't be transparent with your customers, I assume you are hiding something. Most likely how bad you are gouging them. read more

The worst experience i have had with a company. They installed 2 split air conditioners in my house, one almost fell out of the wall, came at least 12 times to fix it put a baseball sized hole in my wall. leaked water down the wall. Upstairs has black particles coming out of the unit leaked and ruined my desk which they said they would replace but never did.sloppy install wiring a mess outside, staff stole from my garage. Owner does not stand behind his company. I would NEVER recommend. Wanted to leave NO stars but yelp won't let me. read more

I was advised by Manufacturer Rheem to reach out to this HVAC Top Contractor firm to check on a leak in my system and confirm another providers diagnosis. I contacted firm and spoke to a women in office explained situation she said she could schedule a visit to give me an estimate on repair. I asked before scheduling the appointment would their be a charge for the visit. She put me on hold to ask one of her associates came back and advised no. The technician arrived promptly took a look on inside then outside at A/C system. He said had to isolate leak and recommended I wait until end of season as unit had to be down for a couple of days to find the issue. After gentlemen packed up and I started to head out to my office he advised their was a charge for a diagnosis fee of $99.00. I said wait when I scheduled appointment they advise they would come out review possible issue and calculate what cost would be to repair issue. I advised I'm not paying that and he should call his office. He did and put women on speaker her name was Toni. She immediately started to state this was fully disclosed to you when you set appointment. I stated I clearly disagree and was clear before scheduling the appointment. Acting unprofessionally, and rude she continued to argue with me. Then started to say well when we come back again we have to charge yet another diagnosis charge before we can resolve this issue. And then charge you what it would cost to repair issue. We left off by her waiving the bogus diagnosis fee. I was advised the office was to communicate with me later in day on what was a close ballpark charge to proceed forward in writing. Well that call never came. So when I arrived home later this evening I looked on Internet and this firm does not have many positive remarks on google reviews nor yellow pages. My interpretation after this experience is they just want to collect fees. Professionals who really know their business and care about consumer for repeat business and service don't perform in this manor. read more

This company installed a central air system in our home about 7 years ago. The unit was not cooling the house enough, and when one of their techs came out they told us that central air cools the house differently and there was nothing wrong with the unit. We have never been satisfied with the way the unit cooled the house and have experienced a problem with our unit every single year since they installed. I am not sure if they sold us a unit that is not large enough to cover our home (small ranch), or if we were just sold a faulty unit. I'm any event ... buyer beware. read more

Guy came out to look at what I needed and was told that I would have a price in 2-3 days. It has now been 2 weeks with multiple calls to the company. BEWARE OF USAir CONDITIONING!!!!! I would rate zero stars if I could. Toni Prisco the "manager" is a rude, condescending individual. We had an issue with our air conditioning system, first she told me the part (coil) was covered, it would be $573 plus tax for a special tech to asses the exact issue and then an install price. The $573 would NOT be deducted from the install. Assuming (never assume anything I should have remembered) for the price this was very entailed diagnostic test. The special tech was here for all of 15 MINUTES and indeed charged $573. The next day Toni informed me she made a mistake the part was not covered! I needed to give her a $400 deposit in order for USAir to even order the part and the install would bring the total price to in excess of$2300. The coil was not available from a local distributor and would come from New Jersey. Since it was now a very hot weekend the part wouldn't available until Monday. On Friday evening we had a reputable tech from a competitor come by he was able to get the AC working for the weekend. He would order the part, install it for a total of $1100!!! On Monday I called Toni who agreed to refund the $400 deposit assumed I was cancelling my contract (oh yes) and would speak to the owner (Ronnie) and get back to me regarding a refund for the way overpriced "special" test. Needless to say I never heard back from her. I called and spoke to Alyssa, Toni's assistant who informed me Toni was out of the office. Alyssa would give Toni the message and have her call me. Toni did not call she instead emailed a letter denying any price concession. USAir is an over priced company with less tan stellar customer service. Oh by the way each of the service calls came with a price even with a contract. Alyssa and Toni both were than happy to inform me the prices were discounted based on the contract. I was out of state , when I heard from stepdaughter my furnace died . My neighbors found this company on Internet and called and set up furnace replacement for me. Came home in time for that. Nick and Kevin came to install . Extremely professional and polite , due to a few unseen snags they were at my house over 8 hours and worked non stop until job was to their satisfaction. This is something I have not seen in the service industry for a while . I cant say enough how pleased I am. I highly recommend this company ! read more

My family spends Thanksgiving at our house in the Hamptons. The night before the big celebration our furnace went out. We scrambled to find a company who could help us out on short notice. Honestly, I am surprised that they only have one Yelp review and it is so negative. Our experience was the exact opposite. We found US Air on google, read their reviews and immediately gave them a call. The owner Ronnie personally came out w/ one of his techs to make sure our family was warm for the holidays. This was a solid move on his part. It is rare that you find someone who is willing to come out on the 11th hour to guarantee service. We are grateful for the service that we received from Ronnie and his service tech James. Highly recommended. read more

BEWARE!! My air conditioner stopped working on one of the hottest days which happened to be a Sunday. My regular repair guy was out of town so I went on the internet to find someone that would be able to come and take a look at it right away being that the upstairs of my house was 92 degrees with the windows open and ceiling fans going. I called US Air Conditioning and got their service. They did call back right away and they did send someone out quickly but, that is where the positive review ends. I was told that I needed a fan motor. That service call cost me $192.00. On Monday I received a call from their office informing me that the fan motor would be $750.00 and I also needed a fan blade which would cost $182.00. I asked if the service fee would be deducted (like most companies would do) if I had them do the work. I was told no that was a separate fee. I said I would get back to them as to whether or not I wanted them to do the work. I went on the internet and found the fan motor for $181.00 and the fan blade for $124.00, $627.00 less then they wanted. And lets not forget that service fee I already paid for a total of $1,066.00 that they wanted to "fix" my air conditioner. I decided to order the parts online and have my regular guy come and install them for me. When he came and looked at the outside unit it turned out that the only thing that needed to be "fixed" was a switch needed to be flipped back on. Apparently because of the heat wave the electric company lowered the amount of power coming into the house and the unit wasn't getting enough electricity which caused it to shut down. US Air should be ashamed of themselves for trying to rip people off. I'm lucky that I know someone honest that I can call. I wonder how many of these people that gave them 5 stars for "excellent" service really needed what they were told was needed. If I was able to give them no stars I would have. read more

Great company and service. I gladly recommend it. They are always prompt and courteous for their appointments. We changed our old boiler using their service and Gerard did a great job. The first time we used them was when our old heating system malfunctioned a few winters ago and they responded within a couple of hours. We've been using their service since then. read more
