I have used US Appliance Services for several years and have had nothing but great experiences with Manjit! He is a good man that is honest, hardworking and very communicative! I read through all the reviews, good and bad and I have to say that Manjit is honest to a fault and very blunt with his assessments which I greatly appreciate. He tells you what he thinks based on his experiences and while it may not always be what you want to hear my experiences have shown that he is spot on with his insights! I had a very nice GE Monogram Beveridge refrigerator that was leaking Freon and he told me I should skip the repair and get a new one. Given the price to replace I insisted we refill the Freon, not once, not twice but even a 3rd time and while I got a few more years out of it, ultimately it did fail. Not his fault and he pushed me every time to replace it so that is on me. Every time he did the repair he called back to see how it was working and on the last time made multiple efforts salvage it without any additional charges and a person can't ask for any more than that so thank you Manjit! Now a couple weeks later our main refrigerator suddenly stopped cooling so I reached out to him at 5 pm and he gave me some things to try and asked me to let him know if there was any changes. He said if nothing changes he would come out first thing in the morning to check it out himself. Unfortunately there were no changes so I let him know and much to my pleasant surprise he said he was out doing an emergency repair and if I was ok with it he would stop by that evening. I said please come over and he came out to my home at 8 pm. He tried a couple of fixes that didn't work because he didn't have the right part so he said he would go to his parts person first thing this morning and at 830 this morning he called to let me know they couldn't get the part until tomorrow. Even though he came to my home in the evening he didn't ask for any payment which pleasantly surprised me! In closing I don't believe you can find a more honest and hardworking person than Manjit! He may be blunt in how he communicates but it's from the heart so I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone that was in need of appliance repairs! read more

Our refrigerator died late this morning. I found the Yelp rating of 4.5 for US Appliance Services and decided to see if they could help on an emergency basis. The person I spoke to on the phone was helpful and eager to meet our need. Amazingly (perhaps miraculously, he said they could have someone at our house today in less than an hour. When the tech arrived (his name is Mr. Singh and he was terrific), he quickly diagnosed the problem, explained what needed to be done and calculated the cost. Very quickly he started his work and shared with me some of the things he has learned from working on this brand of refrigerator. He had the parts he needed in his truck (a new fan and control board) and before long he had swapped out the good parts for the bad ones. He kept me informed on what he was doing and why this problem had developed. We've had all too many repairman working on this refrigerator, but Mr. Singh was by far the most professional, most competent, and most willing to go the extra mile to fix the problem. I hope we won't need a repairman again anytime soon, but if we do, our first stop will be with this company and this tech. He was terrific! Deserves 6 stars! read more

Manjit has helped us greatly many times and we are so thankful. Manjit and his colleague recently replaced our AC unit and heat pump after our AC unit died during the last heat wave over the summer. It stopped working on a Saturday that was unbearably hot and Manjit came by within the hour to look at it. He was able to replace both the AC unit and the heat pump within days and did such a great job especially with replacing the heat pump in an extremely tight and awkward closet in an attic where it needed to be. We were so pleased with how quickly he was able to take care of everything. Manjit recommended a quality unit and it has been working smoothly ever since. He was very accommodating with our payment being split in two which was extremely helpful. Manjit has also fixed our washing machine, dryer and refrigerator. Our refrigerator died in the beginning of the pandemic after we had just stocked up on a huge load groceries. He was able to come out right away and immediately ordered the part we needed. Manjit is always responsive, honest and polite. As new homeowners, we are so glad that we found someone that we can rely on. read more

Sam has worked on all my Jenn Air kitchen appliances over the years and has always been very responsive to my calls for help. He is on time and very considerate of my home and the area he is working in. He even takes off his shoes so not to track anything on my carpet. He is incredibly professional and explains exactly what the issue is and how to fix it so there are no last minutes surprises or extra fees. His knowledge of all the various appliances he works on is vast which ultimately saves the client time and money. I called US Appliances Services for assistance with a broken KitchenAid dishwasher. They were able to schedule a next day appointment with us. The technician called on our appointment day and fit us in even earlier than our scheduled time. (Which is important when you're eating off of paper plates and hand washing dishes.) When Mr. Singh arrived he quickly diagnosed the problem, had the part researched and gave us a realistic expectation of how long we would have to wait for the out of stock part. The cost to replace the part and the wait time exceeded any benefit of repair. We really appreciated his honesty. The US Appliances Services service call fee is VERY reasonable compared to the other appliance repair companies we called. Most importantly, the honest advice the technician gave was priceless. We think we have found our new appliance repair company. We would recommend US Appliances Services to anyone. read more

We just hired Mr. Singh to replace our 12 year old hot water tank. I called him on a Monday in which he personally answered. He was polite, professional and timely! He was able to come out here by Wednesday morning to diagnose and we received an estimate promptly for a new hot water tank, which he then installed by Saturday. He was so easy to work with, as we weren't dealing with multiple corporate layers. At the conclusion of the work performed, he went over everything with us thoroughly and cleaned up on his way out. Guy came in and in 2 seconds decided I needed a new air compressor. Paid them $800 dollars. Waited weeks for installation. Fridge is still broken. Waited again for them to come back. 3-6pm service call...no one showed up or called. I called they kept saying he's on his way...no show! They are not an authorized sub zero repairman nor do they seem to know what they are doing in terms of sub zero repair. They banged around my kitchen so hard washing the shelves of the refrigerator that my counter top was chipped in 2 places. Have been waiting 3 days for a call back. I would not recommend this company for sub zero service. Call sub zero and get a name from them. That's what I finally did. read more

Mr. Singh is wonderful! He is professional, responsive, polite, and honest. I contacted him after another company took over 2 weeks to get a part for my LG washer (water valve). I contacted him and he had the part that day. He wasn't able to come out right away as my washer is a stackable in a VERY small space. He told me he would need to get a second person to help him. It took a couple of days for him to get a 2nd person (not his fault) but kept in contact with me during that time. He was able to fix the washer within an hour and it works great now! I would definitely recommend him for a repair and I will use him in the future if I need an appliance repair! read more

We have used Manjit a number of times over the years, and he has always provided prompt, friendly, and efficient service. Excellent service! I called a couple days ago with a broken dryer. Singh came promptly at his scheduled time, wore a mask for our protection and tended to the dryer immediately. He quickly located an article of clothing that was caught and only charged the previously set house call of $89 and a minimal amount for the repair. In addition, Singh assisted me with fixing our water dispenser and did not charge me for it. I added an extra $20 for his time and assistance. He was prompt, professional and more than fair.
