Nails are okay but pedicure not that good lady does a bad job just pay attention to when she does your toes

I came here to get my nails removed. Let me start with ...she pulled out a Altoids can !!! with her products to file down the nails they were rusty and I'm sure BEVER BEEN DISINFECTED !! That's how ppl catch diseases and etc definitely not a sanitary place. she got upset when I asked her to clean her products before moving forward doing my nails. Because She had helped the lady beforehand and I seen her not clean her products, and then she came straight to me. This place is just very unsanitary!. She went to go clean another areas while my nails were soaking and didn't see her wash your hands or nothing was picking up other products that other people used to stub there feet then came back to me it was crazy.... This place was HORRIBLE. They were definitely understaffed, but when asked if they had availability they said yes. The person that was working on my nails was also working on someone else's simultaneously. The nails themselves came out horrible. Some are shorter than others and the shapes are different. But for the most part they are all crooked. When I told the person that they were crooked she was quick to say "no that they looked fine". Also when I wanted my nails shorter she said "no this is a goos shape for coffin nails". Once she was done she charged me $30 when their price listed $20. When I asked her about the price she stated that Coffin was an extra cost but that was not said to me when I confirmed the price. Overall I do NOT recommend this place read more

I came in on November 19th to get a full set. They started popping off the next day. I called to tell them that they were popping off an they said they'd fix them the next day. The pedicure was okay, took longer than intended since they were understaffed, even though I called to make an appt a week earlier and they said "ok". But my fingernails...holy shit. First of all, she wasnt wearing gloves when giving me a "manicure" so when she was trying to "clean" the excess paint off the sides of my nails she used her nasty ass old lady fingernail instead of a scraping tool. Mary rushed my nails. I asked for coffin shaped ombré nails with glitter tips. My nails were bumpy and crooked. I like the simple design but I think she needs training. She used a drill on my natural nail until they were paper thin and sore. My cuticles were raw and red. I will speak up next time that I don't want my nails drilled and filed until they are so thin. But I won't be back here. Also the drill was not clean. I did my research on what to expect for my mani and pedis so I know now that this place is not sanitary and probably doesn't follow the proper sanitizing procedure. read more

The owner is caring and goes the extra mile to help your nails look good; yet, like all nails salons in Sacramento they are extremely busy and it might be preferably to call ahead to make sure they can do your nails. But overall, they get the job done and the price is not exuberant. read more

I've been here three times. I don't like how Mary says she has time, and then sits you in the pedicure bowl for ten minutes and then the water gets cold afterwards. This place is kinda ghetto. The last time I came here this lady had three of her girls in there and was yelling at them and then kept on yelling at Mary because she thought she kept on raising the prices on her because her daughter that looked like she twelve getting a full set. I couldn't even enjoy my pedicure! I was done once I started sitting in the pedicure chair. If you want to enjoy your pedicure or just a time away this isn't the place to go. If I could give 0 stars I would. First, horrible service, the nail tech who did my nails (Mary) did not listen to what I asked for at all and kept pushing me to do Ombre' when I wanted just tips done. all of my nails are crooked. None of my nails are the same length, she argued with me when I asked her to cut my nails shorter as I do not like them super long. the acrylic doesn't even cover my nail there is several spots where there is no acrylic or top coat. my thumb nails are sideways. on two of my nails the tips are not even glued on to my natural nail so there is a gap in between. I asked her to fix them and she said "no its fine they look pretty." I have been getting my nails done for 2 years now and never have I had a set that looks this bad. they are very sloppy and uneven. it hasn't even been 24 hours yet and the sides are already lifting. my nails look like I got them done a week or more ago when it hasn't even been 24 hours yet. my husband also got a pedicure to get rid of the dry dead skin on his feet and the lady cut his nails down so short that they hurt and are bright red, I'm praying that it doesn't turn into an infection as the shop didn't seem very clean. Worst service ever. They hardly speak english. I asked for a gel manicure and the lady was trying to give me a full set. Then she made my white yips super thick uneven and ugly and her excuse was because It's my natural nail with gel. I've had plenty of manicures other places and they did suck goos jobs. They do a great good for square nails but really suck when you want to give them a challenge like I wanted pointy nails not oval and they gave me oval on top of that a weird looking! I used to be a regular here for my eyebrows but unfortunately they have lost me as a customer. I cant tolerate this place any longer. She seemed rushed (as usual)and missed some hair on my eyebrows. Then when she threaded it, she cut and bruised my eyelid. She also bruised my friends eye. So I'm thinking she may need to have more training on eye brows... I never had her do my nails. They do get busy in there so maybe the nails are good. I wouldn't risk it... The table that she wants u to lay on to do ur eye brows is not sanitary. How do u have everybody lay their head on the same towel!?? We would always bring our own towel..But stay away for your brows unless ur ready to walk around with swollen bruised n cut areas on ur eye brow n lid. Or maybe you will walk away with lice. Idk.. Been coming here for years, and I love Mary! She's not only the owner, but she's a very hard worker! The pedicures and manicures are amazing. Mary & Mai both give awesome pedi's. Sometimes it's extremely busy and the wait can be long, but get there early morning. The parking lot is only packed on Sunday's because it's the same parking lot as a church. read more

The woman doing my daughter's nail kept on her cell phone. Because she wasn't paying attention cut into her skin cause a infection in her nails. She try to say my daughter keep moving around. She was 16 not a two old. She knows not to move. This woman was too Damn busy with her ex husband and all the drama on the phone to do her Damn job right. i have been going to us nails for 12 years same location mary is wonderful and has always done my feet and nails this last time in april I went in to get my feet done being 8 months pregnant I couldn't do them my self anymore when I walked in mary said hello to me I explained what I needed and she referred me to another lady( didn't speak English ) mary had to translate she starts as shes clipping my toenails and getting the dead skin off I notice she was digging under my skin. after her rushed service she then said all done in English. paint was messed up I said whatever I was due anyday Ill do them once I have the baby next day my to big toes puffed up and hurt so bad I thought maybe because she was digging at them as time went on my toes didn't get better I called my doctor and they said oh no its infected, I explained it started hurting after I got my feet done at the shop she said must have used a dirty tool or something. dr put me on antibiotics which helped 1 toe but the other one is still in pain and bleeds this is the worst experience ever! I still go to dr to get meds for my damn toe. I would not recommend this place ever again please becarful and make sure they use clean tools.. read more
