    Passport appointment is great. The stuff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend to book online and walk in on time.

    I had called the Millbrae UPS store a few days prior to confirm their mailbox rental promotion --…read morespecifically the "first three months free" deal, which I was told over the phone did apply, and that I would just need to pay the setup fee. Confident in that information, I walked into the store to open a mailbox. Unfortunately, I was met with the most unprofessional and rude service I've ever experienced. A staff member named Shan (or Sean) interrupted me mid-sentence when I tried to explain the offer and flat out denied the promotion. I let him know that I spoke to someone on the phone who confirmed it, and instead of helping or clarifying, he dismissively said it wasn't valid at their store. Even after I showed him a QR code from the Millbrae location referencing the promotion, he arrogantly said it was "incorrect" and offered no further assistance. I asked to speak to a manager, and he told me the manager wasn't in. When I asked for the contact number, he gave me a fake phone number. Completely unacceptable. I walked in simply wanting to open a PO box -- not to be belittled or made to feel uncomfortable. I won't be returning, and I would not recommend anyone do business at this location if this is how they treat customers.

My box was sturdy, sealed, and properly packaged, yet the staff member Shawn kept insisting it was a "product box" and repeatedly refused to accept it. His attitude was condescending and completely unhelpful -- he just kept saying "that's a product box" instead of explaining or offering any assistance. I am 35 weeks pregnant, holding a heavy package, and Shawn stood there watching without offering even the slightest help or empathy. The lack of basic courtesy and professionalism was shocking. Amazon's website never states that a product box can't be used -- only that a box is needed. This location clearly makes up its own rules and treats customers unfairly.

    The customer service here leaves a lot to be desired. I went by to drop off a box of books that i…read moresold online. I didn't have any packing tape at home and there was none out for customer usage that I could see. I already had my shipping label, so all I was missing was the tape. There was one person there, who i'm assuming was being assisted with photos, and two employees. I stood there, holding a heavy box for probably close to 10 minutes, and they never acknowledged me. Both employees looked at me and ignored me. Neither said anything about being right with me, or it would just be a minute or anything. They never said a word, just ignored me. And I stood there holding a heavy box the entire time. Then I noticed the sign about their "full service surcharge" which basically states that if one of their employees has to do something for you, you have to pay for it. Since I already had my shipping label, I was not about to pay for them to tape my box. So I scanned my label and dropped my box in their chute. Next thing I know, i'm about to get into my car, and one of the employees comes out and starts yelling at me because my box wasn't taped. His exact words were that it was all over the place. He told me that I had to wait for them. I responded that I did wait for 10 minutes, and they ignored me. He just kept yelling at me that next time I can't do that. So here's the thing. I am sorry that my box made a mess, but the thing is that I doubt that happened. The box was packed pretty tight, and it did not drop that far. So while a couple of books probably fell off the top, it wouldn't have gone all over the place. Basically, there should have been tape out for the self service they push so hard, like every other shipping store in the area. Otherwise, don't threaten to charge a fee for shipping a box and don't ignore your customers. I did not appreciate being yelled at and humiliated in public over their lack of customer service. Next time I sell books online, i'll go to the FedEx store in Millbrae.
