I don't live in Glendora, (although I do live relatively close by) but I really enjoy coming to this post office because the staff is usually friendly and they process everything very quickly. Pancho, one of the window associates, is very friendly and he was able to provide great customer service as well as send my package quickly. Basically, I will be driving to another city to mail my overseas orders, but have cancelled most overseas Shipping services. this is down to huge inconveniences caused by this PO. I usually end up with the dour faced asian lady, when I go here. She has several times told me a price that she says is the cheapest way to send overseas. I will be shocked at the cost and return home to invoice the customer the extra shipping cost incurred. But usually when I go to ship the parcel and i am served by another employee, the cost is about half her "cheapest" price! Add that to her rude demeanor, lack of any inter-personal or communication skills coupled with maximum typing skills of 2 WPM. No wonder there is a line-up outside into the lobby whenever she is at work. I dread international shipping. But this individual has made it into such an ordeal, I have been forced to cancel overseas orders and lost revenue. Well done. If you are that miserable and incompetent at your tasks, why don't you just quit your job, give us all a well deserved break. read more

Went in to get passports for myself and my 5 month old daughter. We got there early (9AM) to get signed in and there was only 1 family ahead of us. They're supposed to start processing passports at 9:30, but they actually started a little early, so we were totally done by 10AM. The passport agent, Pancho, was very nice and helpful. Yelp really does need a 0 star rating! My parents are 85 years old and have lived in the same house for almost 50 years. About a year ago or so the Glendora mail carriers stop taking out going mail! No one can tell us why all I can do is assume that because the don't have a little red flag to raise and hang the mail from a clip that is clearly visible IF you are paying attention, they just pass it by or some stupid policy says they can't. So, if they want or need to mail something my dad has to take it to the post office which is getting harder and harder as time goes by. Some day he won't drive at all and then they are out of luck when it come to sending cards to their grand kids or even pay a bill! Pitiful customer service! :-( read more

This is not the first time this issue has happened to me, with the same manager as well!! Standing in line to send out a package, that has a paid stamp on it, and when I walked up to the manager to ask for a receipt for when they ship out my package...she refused to provide me with a receipt because my return address was from a different city and not from Glendora. She said since I did not purchase the stamp there I must drive to the post office in the city of the return address? You're joking? Many times and many other post offices I have mailed out packages with the return address being from a different city that the post office was located in and I HAD ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM! Receipt in hand and a friendly smile, but with USPS GLENDORA....not the case. The manager, Amy Jao, thought it was would professional to continue pushing my buttons while I was walking out the door and gave me one of those fake "have a nice day sir!" gestures in a tone to just piss you off more. The workers here are generally friendly. Multiple times when sending a package they have figured out for me if it was cheaper to do a Priority First Class Flat Rate or regular shipping. There tends to be a long line. People get here early to wait until they open at 9, anywhere from 3-10 people. There is always one person who complains while waiting in this line. Generally "if I was in there I'd open early when I saw all these people waiting." Here's the things guys... These are hourly employees. This is not a small business. They are instructed to start working at a certain time because that's when they get paid. If they opened early for people waiting they would have to open early every single day! Sometimes the line can get long so it's definitely wise to leave yourself plenty of time. I've ordered and renewed my passport here twice. Both times it was a complete headache. Make an appointment in advance, be on time. Simple things others don't remember that mess it up for everyone. The main passport people are blunt. They want to move you threw quickly and don't give a crap about customer service. Expect that and then it won't surprise you. read more

Whenever I go to a government-run office I have low expectations. I've faced long lines, unhelpful folks in a lot of places, including other post offices. Luckily, the Glendora Post Office isn't one of them! It looks like a small parking lot but everyone's in and out real quick so there's usually a spot. They have 3 kiosks, 1 on the outside so if you just need to run in you can use it even when it's off-hours. The staff there are also really helpful. You can do your passport stuff there and they try to make things efficient by asking people in line if you're just picking up or dropping off. I don't mail packages very often but every time I've gone they go out of their way to help me save money (those flat rate boxes are awesome!). And even though they don't have to and I try to bring stuff anyway, they're really nice about letting me use scissors, tape, and have even helped me tape up boxes! They also have iphone-ish scanners so when all of the counters are taken AND all of the kiosks are taken they can also individually scan (just like at Costco!). read more

If I could give them negative stars I would. In fact I wish I could. They are so disconnected from their customer it's no wonder the other places are gonna put them out of business. I Have never left a bad review and it's because people can have bad days and business can too cause they are run by people but the post office is a joke!!! Pay the extra $1.00 and use a shipping company. They DESTROYED my marriage license!!! And not the copy that get sent back to you, the one you send in to the county! I waited 11 years to get get married and did it on my anniversary and now I'm not officially married. I won't have my anniversary, and I have to pay hundreds for a new officiant plus time and gas to correct their mistake. But to top it all off when I called to find out how it happened, since I sent it In the proper packaging, with the type of shipping the idiot working there said I needed. They basically told me to go screw myself!!!! That they weren't responsible and not to even call back as far as they were concerned the matter was closed!!!!! No sorry, no apology at all!!! no help!!!! and they even refused to give me the 800 number to talk to someone else!!!! Absolutely just horrible!!!! I am devastated already and they won't even call me back now. This wasn't a Christmas card this was my marriage license a legal document!!!! Shipped how they told me to ship it!!!!!!!!!! Shame on you post office!!!!! I had refused to use the big corp shipping to help out America and save our post office system, but I will never use you again. I made it there a minute pass close time but I was told they were closed. I think Alice could see the panic on my face needing to postmark my item by that day. She took me in and helped. Very rude Post Office!!!! I live in Glendora and started an online business where I have to consistently drop off Priority Mail packages on a daily basis. BEWARE this post office won't scan your packages or provide a receipt. I've gone to other Post Offices in my area, like San Dimas, La Verne and Claremont and it was never a problem. They are happy to scan your packages and provide a receipt. One of my expensive packages is lost in limbo, and the staff at Glendora USPS won't give you any additional help or info other than what is generically provided on their online tracking on their website. They just basically read back exactly what the website says like a robot, as if I don't already know that info. They don't give any resolution or advice to help their customers. These people have HORRIBLE customer service and attitudes!!!! They look like they hate working there. From now on, I'm going out of my way and dropping my packages off to the next city over to San Dimas or La Verne where they treat their customers with respect. I spend a lot on postage, stamps, and money orders and I am going to give my business to these other wonderful post offices. read more

Terrible service, basically no service. I stood in line like normal and when I was next I walked to the lady that was open. I asked to process my passport. She told me only the lady at the end handles passports. So I went to that lady. She was with a customer so I waited for about 5 minutes. When she finished and I was up she looked at me and said "oh I'm going to break. You can wait for me to finish." I just walked away. Don't plan on going there anymore. read more

They lost my mail. I dropped off my prepaid package with the employee and she placed it on the counter where there are mountains of other packages just sitting there. It's been 5 days and still hasn't left the facility when I track it. Every time I go here, everyone looks frazzled. Wouldn't recommend this location. read more

Jan 1st is a holiday but the post office desided to view the 2nd as their day off. It says on their door that they're closed on the first but no mention of being closed today. Went here with my two adult sons to get our first passports. SUPER NICE bald man with little white beard helped us and was very good at explaining all that we needed to know about the process. He was very kind when explaining to me that my birth certificate was not able to be used under new 911 guidelines and told me how to obtain a new one. But the boys both got theirs.=-) He even made sure to ask if they liked their photos... Thats a first, wish DMV did that! Lol read more

We took my 2 year old son to get his passport on a saturday. The passport office opens at 9am but when we arrived at 845am and there was already a line. I was number 13 in line. We didn't get called until 11:15am. My advice is to get there super early even if they don't start until 9am. The only highlight was that Pancho the passport attendant was very fast and friendly. I was pretty worried after reading all the negative reviews, but I was desperate to send my daughter a Valentine's Day package and had waited until the last minute...me, and everyone else. Sure enough, went to the Glendora post office on my work break and it was really busy. However, they had extra staff that was extremely friendly and helpful, especially since there were several people like myself who didn't know what they were doing and how to find the right packaging, etc. I was so grateful, I swear I almost got misty about it--they were that great. Just came in for something simple - certified mail and was asked by Amy to use this new self serve machine ( when I was next in line) well...what was supposed to be faster turned out to be a lot longer ( 6 people services after me longer to be exact) Amy was trying to figure out the machine and the zip code it was going to.
