Whenever this post office is busy they really try their best to move the line along. Someone will usually help you at the self service stations too. I really appreciate that they work to get you in and out quickly! Today I had a great experience getting my passport renewed. I came into the post office, super confused and dreading it. Confused, because I haven't mailed an actual package in about 10 years. Dreading it because I have social anxiety, that has been heightened by the ongoing pandemic. I entered carrying a hand loomed scarf that was a bit bulkier than I wanted it to be. Expecting to have to figure everything out, with regards to packaging. I was also imagining having to deal with a worker who was unwilling to guide me in what I could do. Nope. I was immediately helped by a man who I believe was named Pancito. He was a superhero today! Not only was he super upbeat, he was insanely helpful! Not only did I walk out of there less stressed, but he had me laughing and entirely comfortable. This makes me want to go back. Let me start by saying the reviews alone on this place is the reason I came. Prior to going there I went to another post office to get my passport and what a HORRIBLE experience I had. I arrived there and they told me they stopped taking people even tho I went to the day before and they told me what time to go in. (They stopped at 1 and it was 12pm) a customer said one hour ago they stopped taking people so at 11am! Smh. Needless to say I looked on yelp and I called this location. ROSHEL answered the phone and let me know they are still excepting passports. Now mind you, this is my first passport and passport experience. So when I walked into the building they helped me very promptly and effectively. A huge relief!!. I signed in and then was greeted by PANCHO, such an amazing Passport Agent. He made sure all my information was correct, looked over everything carefully and even let me review my photo once he took it. The photo passport progress was a Breeze with him! We all just 'love' to have to do business at the post office, so my wife & I weren't really looking fwd to having to get our passports renewed. We actually encountered a real human! Pancho was personable and intelligent, and experienced. Got through the whole process painlessly and efficiently, and we just happened to have actually had all the right info on hand (we're not that great at paperwork...). My experience: good, experienced, and intelligent personnel are tough to keep, so encountering someone like Pancho points to pretty-good management; or, maybe Pancho is a super-mensch (but at a post office? hmmm). read more

Went online yesterday and got an appointment for today- we went in at our time, we were there about 15 minutes with Pancho- he does the passports there- he was extremely helpful and very nice. Staff are extremely racist. Overall repulsive experience. First of all, when I just entered the post office, people were already yelling and a woman staff was threatening to call the cops on a customer. I don't know the full story and there's probably fault on both sides, but I definitely should have known that this was not going to be a pleasant experience. I am an Asian American, born and raised in California with no accent what so ever, and I was questioned twice by this old Asian lady staff with thick accent yelling "why you speaking Chinese?", "we don't speak Chinese here". I was really stunned and said, sorry but I'm speaking in English. Yet somehow she grew even more annoyed and yelled at the Asian man staff at the window next to her, "why you send her to me?!". Yes, I was sending a rather complicated international package. But excuse me, the package is for Tokyo, where did you get "Chinese" from? And how is that okay? This woman should seriously consider getting an otolaryngologist. What's even weirder was that the customer after me was white and was chatting with that old lady about face masks no problem. After that, I tried to purchase an international money order to Japan at another window. The young black woman taking care of my order was very sweet and patient. However, after trying and failing a couple of times, the Asian man staff on the other side got annoyed and yelled across the room "We don't do that here, done!" and slammed the table. Even the person at my window looked shocked and embarrassed and immediately apologized for his behavior. read more

I was just at the Glendora post office- dropping off post marked mail. At the San Dimas post office they want you to drop it at the counter so you aren't in line. At Glendora- I asked if I could bring it to the counter. The clerk beckoned me forward and told me where to place my large box of envelopes. He then proceeded to scold me because I was putting the box near them. " next time use the slot outside". Awesome self service kiosks, passport window, and -- the most amazing part-- when the line got to be 3 people deep (with two open windows helping customers), two more people came out from the back to expedite us in line.
