Incompetent! This PO doesn't make any effort to get your mail right - they just send it back, it's easier that way- they get paid anyway.

I have a PO Box at this location, so I'm in here pretty regularly. As far as 24 hour access to my box, or buying stamps and other services from the kiosk, it's perfectly fine. The lines, however, move at a glacial pace. We're all used to slow lines at the post office, but this particular location seems to move more slowly than the average post office. If you need to drop something off, there is always ample parking and easy access. I go here for kiosk services and my PO Box. If I need to go stand in line for something, I'll go to the Boulder Highway post office. That location also has long lines but it is usually better staffed and the lines move faster than they do here. read more

I opened a post office box in late 2019 to receive mail from a state agency for business purposes. Annoyingly, I continued to get mail for the previous occupant, even after leaving a note indicating the proper names to receive mail. The mail I erroneously received was actual business mail, and not "or current addressee." Still, the employees sorting the mail here continued to place the the previous occupant's mail in my mailbox. In addition to that inconvenience, I never received mail from the state agency that had sent mail. I'd give one star, but the front desk employees are generally pretty friendly. But geez, the mail sorters at this location are lazy, and unfortunately perpetuate the often true and negative stereotype of taxpayer-funded workers. read more

I've had a similar experience to that reported by Daniel S. and I wouldn't be surprised if it is because of the same mail carrier. To try to keep it short - my company has a couple properties in Vegas that they use to house visiting execs/trainers/etc. who come out here from our main office, and these properties will frequently go unoccupied for a couple days at a time. Only one of those properties is under this post office, and at that property, if we fail to take mail out of the mailbox for even just a couple days, USPS declares the house vacant and stops delivering mail. We don't have this problem at any other property we own - anywhere in the whole United States - even when the people there don't check the mail for much longer periods. And it is a HUGE hassle to get this post office to start redelivering our mail once they declare it vacant. When I tried to call this post office to complain, it took several phone calls over several days to even get connected to a supervisor - who promptly hung up on me. I have also tried using the online complaint form on the USPS website and I have gotten no response. The USPS website suggests writing in to the USPS Consumer Advocate Office, and I might try that next. But if anyone knows any better ways to complain to someone who can actually do something to fix this, please message me - I'd greatly appreciate it! read more

I went into this Post Office today needing to send out another Power of Attorney to my daughter out in NYC because the first one I sent through this Post Office she never received and NYC post office would not help her find it. What did I get from this Office nothing but a snotty supervisor who ignored me until it was too late for me to send out an over night express and a snotty employee who spoke to another employee to tell me to go to the USPS store and spend $55.00 to send it out over night. This is the reason why the US Postal Service should not be no more since we can get better service from real workers who care about their customers needs and not send them out packing to another just to get rid of them. read more

Horrible. Here on a Tuesday morning. Three agents st the window and an agent at the quick check out position. The line is out the door. Absolutely horrible service. I printed my postage at home and only need it scanned yet I have to wait in a mile long line for service. What's the point of prepaid at home service when you get to a grinding halt once you arrive at the post office. Yes sir! Really great office. The Post Office was broken into and mail boxes were damaged and mail was stolen. Lucky me they got to my box. There was never an apology issued nor was there any kind of updates on what happened. On another occasion I made a payment which they lost so they closed my box and stopped my service. Had a fun time getting it reopened after they found my check which had been misplaced by the office. One nice thing is they are a very diverse office and pretty much equal opportunity foul ups. Who to blame? ME. Do not use the Post Office. If it absolutely has to get there... Fedex, UPS, strap it to a carrier pigeon. Sorry not sorry. read more

Once again yet another reason why they should establish a, "no star", rating for horrendous reviews. I think the Post Office may need to reconsider changing the name of the, "Forever" stamps to, "Until We Go Out of Business", stamps. Wonderful service today 12/19/2019! Drive into parking lot and truly thought about just turning around & going home. Dug deep, expecting to rely on long lines and patience. Walking inside, the feeling was the same. Bus, I labeled my pkg & jumped in line. 5 minutes later I'm back, sitting in my car writing this review (p.s. my pkg didn't cost fortune to mail & will be at destination by Monday)! Merry Christmas to me. Service was super friendly, quick and efficient without feeling rushed. I feel awful I didn't get the female's name who was my service rep but "thanks so much". Probably the worst post office ever. First off, there's never more than 1-2 workers manning the check out counters, yet 2-3 workers floating around, refilling Priority Mail shelves, and the one always asking "Can I help you with something?" Yeah, how about you go jump on a cash register so we can move this mile-long line along? I tried to use the self checkout kiosk machine today, went through everything and at the end of check out, my card never lights up green to pay. Then the screen just locks up. I try to exit out, won't exit out. I go wait in line and I swear, the two ladies working there are having some sick, twisted competition to see how can possibly move any slower. Really? It takes you 90 seconds to bend down and retrieve your book of postage stamps? Finally, I get to check out. My lady is as bitter and cold as winter in Minnesota. No smile, total attitude like she hates her freaking job. I tell her the self check out kiosk doesn't work and she tells me she knows. As I stand there while it takes her 3 minutes to figure out how to scan my package, I watch three more poor souls try to finagle with the self checkout machine. I offer, very nicely I might add, "maybe you guys should put a Out Of Service note on the machine over there?" She rolls her eyes and huffs like I'm the most annoying person with a dumb request. Then she proceeds to tell me I can't use my card next time if I don't sign the back with my proper signature. Really? The freaking bank doesn't care I have "See ID" and a tiny signature written in the back. I say respectfully, although now I am getting equally annoyed,"I want you to check out people, to ask for an ID, see my/their face and name on the ID, does it match the name on the card? Anyone can steal my ID and sign my name." Without you seeing my face and name in the ID, you don't take notice. She starts to argue with me, getting even more annoyed, telling me the bank is wrong. Really, the bank that issued my card and puts into place its own policies and procedures is wrong? She tells me next time she won't accept my card, aggravated. If I could give this place negative stars I would. My boyfriend ordered a package from Amazon and it said it was to be in our mailbox July 10, 2019. So I went to check and nothing was there. I noticed that we actually had no mail coming in at all (not even those annoying ads) so my boyfriend went up to the post office in person after calling on the phone and being told the package is at this location. When he gets to the P.O he is told that a lady came in and cancelled the mail to our address. Yes, she said it was CANCELLED! We find out our landlord turned off the mail. Fast forward to mid August, we get a 24 hour eviction notice posted on our door! Nothing was ever posted on our door notifying us about having to move! (If it was tho I wouldn't be surprised if our landlord removed it before we were able to see it) I'm told by the constable to go to the Court to contest the notice and was told the landlord sent the 30 day notice in the mail (we have had MAJOR issues with our landlord for months). So with only an hour and a half left till the court closes I realize our landlord shut the mail off which stopped us from getting any notices in the mailbox. So I race over to the P.O hoping I can get some proof she purposely turned the mail off. When we get there I tell them what happened and what my boyfriend was told last time he was here.. that the mail was CANCELLED! The same lady who told him that is now saying she never said that. So I ask to speak to someone higher who can actually help cause we're getting no where and time is running out. The Manager is even worse! She literally is clueless. Anyways, she calls the mailman for our complex and he remembers getting the "cancelled" notice which he says is actually a vacation hold just meant to withhold some of the mail.. we'll, guess what?! He admits he read it wrong and withholds all the mail for over a month!! Because of that mistake we didn't get our 30 Day or 5 Day notice! He fully admitted he made a mistake and they still didn't help us out! Did I mention our car tire was slashed and I had to get to all these places using Lyft/Uber and then this manager tells me "oh well, you can try to come back later and the GM might be here." I wasn't able to prove any of this "so called mail withholding" to the judge who in the end denied us the extra time we needed! So thank you US P.O for causing this horrible circle of events for my family! (Eviction was not due to non payment of rent so this wasn't our cause. We had a VERY PSYCHOTIC landlord) read more

We recently moved from Tennessee to Nevada. Back home, the employees at our local branch were very friendly and personable. 3 week's ago, I had to visit to post office, so I went to the one closest to us. Without mentioning much about that branch, I left very disgruntled and disappointed thinking that this is what I would have to deal with. Vowing to find a branch that I would like, I stumbled upon this location! I had to mail another package a thought I'd try my luck here. As I entered the facility, I was welcomed with a bright smile and a warm greeting. Although there was a line, it moved very quickly. The employees behind the counter were fast and efficient, and very nice. I was lucky enough to get ELNORA. I had a unique package that required insurances, specific signatures, return request, etc. Elnora was very patient and walked me though everything I needed. She even found the best options and rates as well! I was so happy with my experience here, that in the future, I will drive the extra 10 minutes out of my way to come here. If you ever have to visit the post office, I suggest this location! read more

If I could rate this place negative 5 stars I would. My wife and I moved in our town home on March 1. We needed a new mailbox key so we went to the post office and put in an order. They told us it would take 3 weeks and cost us $40.00. We understood this and were fine with it as we understand that things like this can take time. So after 3 weeks I went to check on the keys and voila they had them! Joy! Nope....when I got home and tried them out, they did not work. So I took them back and the postal employee apologized profusely. The post office then put in a rush order to get me the right keys. This made my wife and I feel good. I went back in after about 5 days and again, they had my keys! Joy! Nope.....I went home, tried the keys and they were the same keys that they gave me the first time! (I know this because I put a distinct scratch in one of the keys.) So I took them back and they again apologized profusely and told me that would again put a rush on our key order. They gave a big speech to my wife and I about how horrible it is that we should have to wait and that they had given us the wrong keys 2 times in row. We were skeptical but accepted the apology. It is now 7 weeks since they "expedited" our order (third shot at getting us our keys) and still no keys. We have to go to the post office twice a week to pick up our mail and stand in line to ask if our keys are ready yet. And guess what. They aren't. We were told that the post office has contracted the business of re-keying mailboxes to an independent contractor, that this contractor has 400 boxes to re-key before ours and that this contractor has only 4 guys doing the work. Long story short. This post office is a joke and should be ashamed of the way they do business. They are lazy, lying imbeciles who don't care at all about their postal customers. My wife and I have shown nothing but kindness and restraint during this whole process. And yet they still shine us on. read more

Of course everyone hates going to the Post Office, the long lines, understaffed employees, etc. However, I've been to this location and the Green Valley location and I would much rather come here! First off its way easier to get into, the GV location is located inside a strip mall that is such a CF to get around in! I am bummed that their aren't machines anymore just to buy stamps, instead you get to stand in line which often can be a long line. All I can say is have a bit of patience to get you through it. The lobby is a big size so you don't feel stuck in a box. This location is closer to me and much easier to access. This is my go to location ^__^ read more

I came here for a full month to pick up my mail because my mailbox and a neighbors mailbox were broken into. We think that it was by another neighbor of mine that possibly got evicted. It got replaced about a month ago so I don't have to come back again. Four stars because it was a waste of time and gas to come to the post office and back to my house. Anyway, I reported this break in to the post office and asked the person at the window how long it would take to replace a mailbox. They told me they have no idea. A few days later, I told a different person at the window that my mailbox was broken into and that I've been coming everyday since the break in and they told me that if a mailbox that was broken into more than a month ago, then it was a problem. She made me sign something so she could report it, and that they would call me when the mailbox would get fixed. They never called me, but about two weeks later, I came home to find a new mailbox outside my house! Yay! I don't remember the lady's name that helped me out, but I want to thank her a million times for getting the help I needed. read more

My husband and I went here to submit our passport renewals. That went just fine and dandy. About 6 months later, someone filed our tax returns using my husband's SSN. We came to the conclusion that someone here either stole it and sold it or used it themselves to file our taxes. Luckily we caught it and were able to stop the refund. One of the best Post offices I've ever been to. Usually, no matter how busy a PO gets, two windows will remain closed. Not here: ALL windows were operating and people were being served ASAP. Everyone working there was very friendly and extremely helpful, even, on one occasion, going out of the way to check for a postage due package in different locations til it was found. The customers are really rude. A bunch of older set females will constantly talk about you behind your back and complain that you have too many packages to mail at the self serve machine- note there is no sign that says "x items or less"; and that they need to be somewhere and you will make them late. It's not even close to the holidays and you already a taste of the holiday rage where people act like little kids. The ladies who work at the post office were nice. But there's always a line if you go during rush hour. read more

It's the Post Office... in 2013 during a sequester... You get what you get. The outside looks nice, the inside needs some TLC. Try to use the kiosk if what you're doing will work with that machine. Also realize this place usually has a dedicated line for Passports, it's also Summer so high school/college kids are on the move and will need a Passport. Went to get my Passport (Nobody in Line), She is in the back...Comes out and I say, great, nobody in line...She asks me if I made an appointment, I said I did not know I needed one....Again No one in line....I had the Application Filled, Money Order, Pictures and Birth Certificate....She said no....Make an appointment then I will help you....Again No one in the PO....She had no appointments....I ask for her supv....Some clown talks to her and he then says go to the one on Sunset....I said, I am here. I wouldn't normally write a review for a post office since I kind of gave up on getting great service. I think of it as if I'm going for a root canal - necessary and painful. However, I was in town (from LA) and had to certify mail a few things for work. I walk in and I'm immediately happily greeted. I have to admit I may have looked a little shocked that 1: there was a greeter at a post office and 2: they were actually happy. I notice how clean, spacious everything was and I wasn't rubbing elbows with people trying to send off what I needed to. I was looking for an envelope and the greeter - who wasn't actually a greeter per se but I think an employee stocking up or there to help lost customers - asked if I needed assistance. We ended up chatting up while he helped and it was such a new experience. I didn't wait in line long, sent what I needed to without a hitch, and was on my merry way. I seriously hope that the branch manager or regional manager reads this and gives their employees something special. I HATE going to the post office because each time I go, I'm treated like a POS, confused human (because I'm so stupid to not know the things that ARENT labeled - sarcasm) and damn near yelled at my bedraggled post people. Which is why a lot of customers don't go the USPS and prefer to go a different postal service. I wish this location wasn't in a different state - whatever you guys are doing, spread the word! If you do not receive your package on the expected day of delivery, you can thank the lady in management who has implemented a new rule to scan packages as "insufficient address" if it ended up on a different route. Instead of attempting to deliver it, it stays and sits at the post office for another day until tomorrow. Customer service at its best!
