I'm an artist and am here often--once or twice a week--to send off orders. Almost every time I am in here people are yelling at the employees and managers (for things that are not the fault of those that work here) and it makes me sick. I wanted to show my support and say thank you to those who work here day in and day out doing their very best and for being as kind as possible. None of you deserve to be treated so poorly and thank you for sending our mail and being so friendly. I will continue to support my USPS office. read more

Never ever answers their phone. Why even have one. Shouldn't have to drive to the post office every time you need to ask a question.

This USPS bucks the trend. I'm so used to the typical over-staffed USPS locations that seem to have 95% of its staff on break at all times, chatting in the background while the line is out the door, that my positive experience here had me turning back at the sign to make sure this was indeed a USPS when I left. I walked in with a couple mother's day gift items, one breakable, looking for a medium flat rate box. A few people were being waited on but no line. A small-statured, employee in his 50's? of Asian descent (I mention these in case his supervisor can identify him and give him kudos!) ended up coming from behind the counter, building my box for me, packing it with extra padding he had, printing off my packaging slip, and taping the box for me. Very patient with me, explained everything, answered all my questions, super positive and friendly. I only waited in line for like 5 minutes. Even the other customers were super friendly. This is seriously the nicest and fastest post office I've been to so far, and this includes Tustin, Orange (fail to the max), and Irvine. I've come during "rush hour" at lunch and there's always about 3-5 people helping out and the one item line is usually staffed at this time. In addition, on occasion, a backroom person in plainclothes (maybe the manager?) will come out to help people with the signature confirmation cards too. For the more independent/low maintenance people, there's also the automated machine outside where you can pay by credit/debit card to mail your packages. The other day, I was looking to buy specifically the white roses stamps for my wedding invitations and the person helping me went to a few stations and checked in the back for me, rather than just saying,"This is it. Take it or leave it." That's customer service, especially for a post office. They also hand-cancelled all my save-the-dates for free (I've been told some POs will charge), even when I offered to do it myself. read more

Useless post office - I live in Crystal Cay and I constantly get my neighbors' junk mail. It's not my problem if their box is full - since I don't get much mail the jerk puts it in mine. I opened a PO box a few years back because we constantly got our mail stolen. I ask to have my mail forwarded for the time being since they weren't doing anything about it - they changed my address. I never did a change of address - ignorant staff. read more

This Post Office has been extremely disappointing. On multiple occasions I have scheduled a "hold mail" with very specific written instructions that I will pick up the accumulated mail when I return. Every - Single - Time - they have NOT held my mail, they deliver it to my tiny mailbox against my request with no explanation and no apology. Today the man behind the desk did not apologize, he said it's not his fault that the mail carrier delivered my mail, and I would have to talk to a supervisor (no supervisor there). I tried calling the post office to make a formal complaint and couldn't even leave a voice message. This has happened way too many times. Extremely frustrated and deserving of an apology. read more

How do I give NEGATIVE stars????? Moved filled out and paid for forwarding service a month prior to our move so we don't have any hiccups HA what a joke and waste of money. Not getting mail go to the post office 4x in a month to complain they write on a yellow piece of paper for the post person still no mail. Had a package of medication sent to the old address AND it doesn't get forwarded it gets delivered to my old house. Go back to post office to yet again another yellow paper to delivery person and told I'll get a follow up call NOPE nothing! Call the 877# to report this and I'm not kidding 4 hrs it took to call me back from the don't lose your place well call you back message. Explain to the person all that I've written above I get asked how far away are you from you old house? Me: not far. Post office person: can you go get it? ME: NO that's your job! Post office person: ok well it would be easier for you to go and get it I'll set up a file and you'll hear from us in 48-72 hrs. A week later I call again because shocker no call back! Get put on hold que for 2hrs to be asked well we call you back in 48-72 hrs ME: ya it's been a week! Then: oh oh ya so no one called you? ME: no hence the second call. Then: oh okey well can you go and pick it up at your old place? Are you kidding me!?!? So she said I'll escalate this and I kid you not the next day I get a email that my issue is resolved. First of all, the employees at this branch and generally very nice and try to be helpful. If not for this, I would have only given them a single star. I have a PO Box at this location to received packages for my business. I receive packages every week via a variety of their services that they offer, including Priority, Express and Registered Mail. Nearly every Registered Mail package that I received gets delayed at this office. Registered Mail is their most secure service and the packages are signed for along the way and are supposed to be under lock and key the entire time. You are able to track Registered packages which I do for the expensive ones. Almost without fail, the packages quickly make their way to the Santa Ana office without a problem. The Santa Ana office then sends them to the Laguna Niguel branch. This is where it gets dicey. Sometimes they notify me the the same day that my package is ready to be picked up (all Registered packages have to be signed for), but more recently, the packages generally just sit there in the Laguna Niguel office for several days, sometimes a week or more. This is totally unacceptable. The Postmaster at this location needs to look into his branch's handling of Registered packages and get them delivered more efficiently. read more

I was in there today and this lady was yelling at one of the workers at the top of her lungs calling him an idiot and getting up in his face I felt so bad. I finally told her she was being disrespectful as she started yelling at me. The workers were still so professional and kind when I would've lost my patience if I were in their shoes. Great post office. Very friendly and helpful staff, not too much wait time. The passport office hours were so convenient, no need to schedule an appointment and the lady there was so caring, detail oriented and efficient at the same time. I don't live in Laguna Niguel but that's my post office of choice when in need. read more

I went there to apply for a passport. The passport office is a small room with a private entrance from inside the main post office. I walked into a completely empty office and stood around for about 10 mins. I could hear a woman having a loud, personal phone call behind a different closed door. I decided to grab an application for a passport and fill it out while I waited for an employee to return to the desk. Once I completed that, I waited yet another 10 mins...and the personal phone call continued. I finally worked up the nerve to knock on the closed door. "Yes?!?" Yelled the woman. I opened the door and peeked my head in, she glared at me. "I am on break." I wondered why there wasn't signage on the entrance door to indicate this to their customers, but never mind. "Okay, about how much longer?" She rolls her eyes at me.... "5 mins....and you can't wait in the office. You need to wait outside in the main post office." This time, I rolled my eyes, thinking, I just spent the last 30 mins. in this office listening onto your mindless conversation, but whatever. I comply. She finally emerges and tells me to come back into the office. We have an less-than-helpful exchange about my passport where I was redirected to a larger office in LA due to my urgent need. She looks over my paperwork and realizes that I am needing a replacement passport because mine was stolen, and then she hands me another form. "If you have a lost or stolen passport, you need to fill this out." So I begin to fill it out with my personal pen. "You need a black pen." "This IS a black pen." More eye rolls from her. "Well, I don't have time for you to fill it out here. Take it home and return it to the other agency because I am busy." I look surprised at her, "Yes, I am busy doing other stuff." Ummm....what?!? Mind you, the office is still empty besides she and I. At this point, I tell her she has been extremely unhelpful and walk out and decide I won't be back. read more

0 stars. Absolute worst customer service. My package kept getting cycled back to this post office and I had no way of getting a hold of it. 1) They NEVER answer the phone. It's not even a matter of getting placed on hold, they simply just do not pick up. 2) They supervisor was extremely rude and inpatient. I came in to try to find a solution and was interrupted and talked over multiple times only to have him continuously yell there's nothing I can do about my package. Very unprofessional supervisor to have representing their store. Dealing with this post office is a waste of time and leaves you feeling disrespected and frustrated. read more

I have had two packages in the past month go missing and I came in to speak to someone about it. I believe her name was Jennifer (I am not 100% sure), but she has lovely flamingos in her nails! Anyway, she was super apologetic and spoke to her supervisor who gave me a call no longer than 5 minutes after I left. They explained my normal carrier has been out of town for the month, which explains my two mishaps, and that they would speak to the new carrier about it ASAP. Problems after problems. I left a review around Xmas when the mail carrier lost an over $200 irreplaceable Xmas gift. Since then I've had over 10 lost packages, 5 sent back to the shipper for no logical reason, and things marked as delivered when they aren't. They have even put my mail in other peoples boxes. My issue now is that nobody even answers the phone. Their hours are clearly posted and I could call a few times every hour and still nobody picks up. Really abhorrent customer service. Why do you even have a phone number listed if nobody answers it? read more

Why do they leave packages in the mail box when no other shipping company is allowed to do this. Then they take my mail for the box being too full. Then they scold you when you pick it up for allowing the box to get too full. They need to bring packages to the door just like every other shipping company has to. read more

Worst post office ever! Held my mail for 3 weeks. I phoned, talked to a supervisor, told them I couldnt pick up the mail as I work their office hours and didnt want the mail but to start delivering the mail from the day I had contacted them. Still waiting. They held Amazon packages, checks, and stated packages were "delivered." LIKE THEY WOULD FIT IN MY MAILBOX! My cousin in New York just made a very special cake for me and my family and sent it to by priority mail to my Gated Apartment complex (Seaside Apartment Homes) in Laguna Niguel. The carrier indicated that he had placed it in our box but the key or a notice was never placed in our mailbox. When I went to the post office after my cousin sent me the tracking number, they showed no empathy for happened and talked down to me. The manager told me to go and meet the carrier at the mailbox within the next 30 minutes but he never showed up. I waited for two hours and he never came. When I came back to meet with the Manager, and later the Postmaster, all they did was talk down to me and blew it off, despite the fact that the carrier was at fault. My wife reminded that my Valentines gift that was sent to her from South Lake Tahoe last year never arrived, so that tells me that there is a problem with mail delivery which may be tied to theft. I am very frustrated with this Post Office and the postal carriers and feel that something needs to be done to protect our mail. This is unfair to us as tax paying citizens. read more

Monday October 19 th. 2015. I was just at the post office to mail an envelope . I hadn't addressed it but had sealed a tshirt for my college son inside. I gave the approx age 65 year old larger woman never smiles looks very tired , my envelope and told her the zip code. That I wanted to purchase the postage. SHE would not sell me the postage unless I addressed the envelope first! I left. And purchased the stamps 5 mins later from another clerk.!!!! Wth. I wasn't asking permission from her , I was only wanting to buy the postage , but she refused to sell me !!! She needs to RETIRE!!! Since when did she take the job of not selling stamps????? I went here to submit my passport application and get my passport photo taken. The process was quick and painless! I was in and out in 20 minutes. I only had to wait in line for maybe 5 or 10 minutes. The person processing my application was very friendly and knew what she was doing. Definitely suggest this location for any passport related things! read more

Very friendly staff, fast and prompt service. The longest I've had to wait in the office was 5 minutes and that was during the holiday season. Parking is plenty and access to this office is very easy. I highly recommend the office over any other offices. I went to the post office at this location I had the most horrible expletive with the employee hi is the Suoervisor his name is QUAN he was rude not respectful an very unprofessional I ask him a questioner the passport area he start talking very loud and Keri le the over customer couldn't believe he was very vulgar calling me names and said he didn't care because it was almost time to close and had to wait until he want to tal to yo me he make remarks about where I came from and my accent I couldn't believe he had an account himself he is Asian with a very strong accent like my ...
