I recently moved to the area. I don't know if it's because of the pandemic or what but I'm not getting half of my packages even though I run down to the mail room as soon as I get a notice that it's been delivered. It's not the regular postman's time but the packages that come before or after the regular delivery time. Please pay attention to where you're leaving these packages. so I work at a company and we are always shipping out boxes. There is always a box pick up issue. I don't like the way CECE does her job with the mail. There is another worker who now is supposed to pick up the boxes but she does not do well of a job either. I believe her name is Dania. I don't appreciate the attitudes my colleagues and I get from all the workers here just for simply asking a question pertaining to their job. I have had to physically send 20 boxes with my own car back and forth just because no one has been picking them up. I am doing their jobs for them. The excuse is because they're heavy, and I weigh 120 pounds. I don't appreciate the way these jobs are handled and I would love if you guys would improve the way you do things, I hope you see these reviews and realize how terrible they are. I came in here to ship a little box and it was not busy at all. I usually dread going to the post office because of how busy it can be. However, right when I walked in, there was no line, I had service right away. However, my reasoning for four stars is because she didn't ask me which service I wanted. She simply gave me the two day shipping - which is more expensive than the other shipping methods. So, I had to ask if there were any other options and there were... Here's the thing about the Post Office: If you're there, it's generally not by choice. I had to send a few things to PO boxes, which meant that FedEx was out of the question, so I came here. Anybody who has been to a post office, a bank, or the DMV knows one simple truth: The biggest complainers are always the ones who have created the most problems for themselves. The people who never have their stuff together are ALWAYS the first to blame the unfortunate person trying to help them. Anita was not only super-helpful and a joy to talk to, but she literally fixed a couple mistakes I had made (I offered to redo them, but there wasn't anybody in line and she wouldn't hear of it) She made my day. Also, at 10:30am on a Tuesday, the place was literally empty. If you show up during lunch or at the end of the day, get ready to experience... a line! OMG! I get that it's not always possible to plan when one comes in, but let's not blame the person behind the counter for that. This was my second trip in two days and yesterday, when I was there (during lunch) I was about 6th in line, waiting about 15 minutes and they quickly told me what I needed to have ready; I took my stuff home and had it ready for today. One of the BEST things about this branch is that if you don't have your labels filled out they have you step to the side to take care of that while they help the next person. Again, guess who complains about this? The people who can't get their stuff together and expect the world to wait for them. The fact that the self-appointed "elite" people on here are up in arms about things like street construction and other humans who also need postal services while trying to live their lives tells you all you need to know about this location (good) and "elite" crybabies (awful). TL;DR: Nobody loves going to the post office, but if you have to pick one, this is a pretty great group over all, especially if you can get in there during the slower times. People behind the counter are fantastic, despite dealing with the idiot public all day. read more

"Ughhhhh" is how I feel whenever I need to come here. Unfortunately, this is the closest USPS near me. The building itself is so unwelcoming and rundown. Parking sucks...there's residential and metered. There's ALWAYS a line here as there's only two workers...which makes stay there longer than I want. I came to mail something 3 days before Christmas...that was a huge mistake. I spent 40 minutes in line! The staff here are incredibly rude, which I don't appreciate. You shouldn't be rude in a customer service job in general, but especially not to customers who aren't rude to you. They really don't care how many people are there either, they'll take their time and just talk to each other while ignoring the customer. Overall, this is one of the worst USPS branches I've ever been to, from the building itself to the staff. I'd recommend going to another USPS, if possible. read more

I like this post office because it is very close to where I live and I can walk over in five minutes. What I DON'T like about this place is that the workers give this place a bad name. I don't know why these employees have a "I don't give a fuck" attitude when they have a CUSHY job with great benefits. Is it really that bothersome to sit all day and deal with some people? Even if you were bitter at the fact that you encounter fussy customers, why take it out on those who are perfectly nice to you? I hate the lines. The lines! The reason there IS such a line is because this location is SLOW. The one on Beverly Blvd moves rather quickly. This one .... You'd better put enough coins in the meter to cover your behind. The place doesn't have pens, there aren't many envelops in stock most of the time, and there are pissy customers everywhere because they're stuck in line forever. I would just avoid this branch. P.S. Street Construction for over a year plus horrible workers makes this location an absolute hell-hole to get anything done. I timed it: 1 hour 10 minutes to buy a shipping label and send something out. I've never seen the line under a dozen people... and I've never been here without witnessing a fight with the employees. I believe that the staff simply doesn't care and I don't blame them. I've been going to this post office for 30 plus years because it is in my neighborhood, walking distance. There are a couple ladies and one gentlemen employed here that are actually pleasant, friendly, helpful, and cordial. Other that than, most of the other employees are eh. I haven't exactly felt this was the best managed USPS either because I've received mailers late. I've written several times through the years about this but either management, or employees, don't seem to care whether I receive them in a timely manner or not. What bugs me is I've also maintained a long term post office box here and have seen the prices rise, rise, and rise. The most recent increase for my littlest, itty bitty box, is jumping from an annual rate of $92 to $120. That's an increase of $28 or approx 30%. THAT JUST SUCKS AND MAKES NO SENSE. 30 PERCENT? I came in to this post office just like I always do, with my dog. I see other people bring their dogs as well as this is the neighborhood post office. All of a sudden today I was told, after waiting 20 minutes to get up to the window that they would not be able to service me because dogs were not allowed unless they were a seeing eye dog. This is total BS period my dog is a service animal not an emotional support animal and I told the woman so. This was not good enough for her she wanted to know what my disability was. This is not an allowable nor legal question per the ADA. She did her best to try and publicly humiliate me about this and I ended up leaving and going to the bigger post office that's near pan Pacific Park period when I told this story to one of the postal workers they were shocked. they gave me a phone number to the post office that they assured someone would answer they even gave me the names of the manager and the supervisor . I dialed the number repeatedly there was no answer. All I can say is stay away from this post office, what they are doing is against the law and they seem to be getting away with it. read more

I never write Yelp reviews but I called the usps complaint line and and I waited on hold for 45 minutes only for the lady named esha who picked up to hang up on me after I explained the situation. I am so upset with this experience. I went to mail a package and they didn't have anything for me to ship the package out of. It looked like a goddamn apocalypse in there it was trashed and a there was no supplies available and they made me pay extra to ship out my items. The worst part was the most rude and disrespectful women who were working the front desk. One of them was wearing headphones and not even listening to me. Both of them were even yelling at me and other customers. I have never encountered such terrible customer service and I wasn't the only one. Another customer asked for help and the front desk lady straight up said no and so he started making a scene too at and everyone was complaining. I felt like I was in a third world country with the state of this place. I am actually afraid they are gonna like purposely lose my package or mess with it because I stood up for myself. This location is severely understaffed and under supplied. You need new employees that are capable of working a customer service job. This happened on Monday 3/27/23 at around 4:50 pm since when I asked for the employees names they just simply said next and ignored me with this info I am more than sure you can find out who they are I hope something is done about this because it is completely unfair and they are scaring away customers. I was treated so disrespectfully that I'm wasting my time reviewing a post office. I come here often to send out Online shipments and usually I am in and out quickly. Today the cashier at the post office was very rude on how she spoke to me when all I was asking of her was the cheapest shipping method with tracking. I asked again to confirm I had tracking and it was all good to go since I heard something about $9 for some service which is more than the usual ticket. It's 50/50 with how helpful someone will be if you need counter service, but it's never excellent service that's for sure. Sometimes they'll give you the basic customer service needed for a transaction, and sometimes they'll treat you as if they're trying to communicate with someone who has had a lobotomy. There's always only 2 people working and 800 people in the line. The guy who always sits all the way to the left is extremely rude!! Never have I had a good experience with him. The worst and rudest customer service ever! With the parking being so horrible there at 9:00 am, I sent my grown daughter in to drop off a small package that I had already printed the postage for and just needed to have it scanned in, just in case it got lost I had proof I sent it. Well she was told because I printed it the day before they took the package and then told her they would not scan it and give her the receipt. When she came back to the truck and told me what they had done, I went in thinking there must have been a misunderstanding. Nope, they said because I had printed it the day before I should have mailed it that day. When I explained I printed it in the evening and the post office was already closed, I was told to bad. When I told them I wanted the package back they told me my daughter would have to come and get it. So back out to the truck I go and told my daughter to go back in and get it. She did and as we were pulling away one of the women, on her smoke break, that was working next to her flipped me off. Finished with work and headed home and stopped at a different post office and asked them if they could please scan the package in and get the receipt for it. She said of course. When I explained what had happened this morning she said there was no reason or rules saying if postage is printed the night before that they can not scan and print a receipt. Not sure what kind of games they were trying to play but there is a formal complaint going to the postmaster! read more

I used this post office to send Father's Day gifts this year... Pros: -Had some shipping supplies for sale and use (which was good because I didn't have any). -The line of five people went quickly (~7min). -The guy who helped me let me send a package priority even though I accidentally marked it express. Cons: -They didn't seem to have any flat-rate boxes. -There is a crazy thick bullet proof glass shield at the counter that makes it difficult to hear the postal worker. -They are only open Monday-Friday from 8am to 4pm. I was there today ...this is most likely the rudest post office and services I've ever had to deal with I drove through traffic to check my mail to find out my box had a lock ....I paid 3 weeks ago ...was charged with a late fee ,but didnt had my receipt on me ...I asked if I they could please check in the system ....it showed i did paid but refused to remove the lock unless i bring my receipt...everytime I would ask a question.that lady would look at me like if i was a problem and all her answers to my questions were SO ??.....I drove through traffic and came back with the receipt to find out they removed the lock while I was gone .....this is a DISGRACE OF SERVICES AND AN INSULT to US post offices.....and of course when I will call the supervisor ....he will NOT do a dam thing about it ..... read more

It is pretty tolerable if you go during an off peak time like 9am. Ive learned my lesson not to go much later than that. The door is locked promptly at 5pm. There is one self serve machine which is good if you only need stamps. Otherwise there is a long slow line out the door. Be prepared to wait. I wish they had slightly better hours and kept the lobby open later to use the self service machines after hours and drop off mail. read more
