Today was the next day and I got a notification at 4:37PM that the package was attempted to be delivered but the customer (me) Requested to be held at the post office. That is false. I never requested it to be held at the post office. I paid for the expedited service to be delivered to my house to prevent complications by not taking the medication. I rushed over to the post office and arrived there at 4:59 PM. The doors were already locked. There was no one else but me and the lady that was locking the door. I asked politely if I can pick up my package please. She said no we're closed. Come back tomorrow. And now I have to miss another day and I will rush there in the morning to go pick up my package. If I make it through the night without having a stroke. I would give it a zero review cause they don't even deserve one star. There should be violations for this type of work ethic. The post office is a customer driven business without human beings the post office wouldn't exist. It's not only about customer service. It's about being human and understanding what it means to take care of people's mailing needs. Seems like nobody cares about customers needs at this post office. The Mail delivery person didn't care and the person inside behind the counter obviously does not care. I know there's nothing I can do but writing this review hopefully wakes somebody up.

I did call the 1 (800) 742-5877 number as well with very poor solution to my problem of my packages not getting to my house. I would like you all to consider as a company the compassion of women changing their names after getting married takes some time through drivers license and social security. That other forms of legal proof should be considered. I was not given that option of other forms of ID to consider that can be helpful for accepting packages. This location provides notary services so they should at least be trained and familiar with different forms of ID for proof. This location does not provide good quality service and I really hope to never have to go back to this location.

I always get my packages for the most part but since this happened I'm just gonna have them delivered to my PO Box if at all possible. This is bullshit. Last November we were missing some jury duty summons. I get that some missing mail shows up the next day or two or three but nothing. I went to the arch airport window and gave them my info and copy of my informed delivery highlighting the mail pieces. Also at the same time waited for the mailman that day being a different guy that also is a shop steward and had much better demeanor.. gave him the same info. I get no callbacks. When you first walk in there are several packaging accessories on the wall to the right. If you need a last minute card for a special occasion, they have a card rack against the wall. There is a counter on the back wall with room for customers to finish packaging and addressing their shipments. There are three points of sale at the front counter and it is typically staffed with 1-2 employees. I have never had to wait more than a couple minutes. Each visit, I have found the different staff members to be friendly and helpful. During transactions they always ask if I need any stamps. I have never run into any customer service issues.
