Came here after-hours for stamps and used the self-serve kiosk. Very happy with the ease of use and cleanliness of the facility. Super surprised "forever" stamps are now $0.55, but I guess you gotta do what you gotta do! Would recommend and would come back for stamps. People with PO Boxes also have 24-hour access, which must be a nice feature. read more

When it was my turn, the post lady said she can't provide me a little tape that I needed to put the address on my package. She said they only give tape to priority, not standard shipping! Older blonde woman working counter. Huge asshole. I came in to check on the status of a residential package with a tracking number. Before I can get the question out of my mouth she goes into Jerk mode. Aggressively stating we don't have residential mail here. Ok great. I guess I won't pick it up. I did not know that. "Can you help me look up...." and again immediately starts talking over me like an asshole before I finish my sentence. I didn't realize your location was so incapable of anything. Sorry lady. I haven't been to this post office, I was looking for my closest location. I am huge on customer service, and from what it sounds like most people have experienced bad customer service from the employees there, particularly a female. I don't understand how a company or a business can afford to continue having an employee that doesn't care for others and the reputation of their business, it sounds like someone needs to get fired. read more

He would give me attitude and asked do you have a box number and i said you mean a tracking number and i showed him the info i had and he then replied no and said its a simple question then just sent me to another location and he did this with 2 other customers as well read more

This Post Office is nestled away in Newport Beach. A very quick and efficient staff keep the lines moving and get you on your way. Parking is plentiful which makes for easy in and out. Always plenty of supplies to ship your packages if needed. A hidden secret for sure. read more

US Post Office - poor customer service - Post Offices Near Me - Newport Beach, California

I brought a package here in a box I had from a package that was sent to me. I specifically said to the worker: please make sure the sticker is changed so there is no confusion because this box was originally addressed to my own home. The worker rudely assured me they knew how to do their job. I paid for expedited shipping in order for the package to arrive on time. I opened my door two days later and there- at my door step- the package I had shipped two days earlier. I worked in the service industry- I understand mistakes are made. It's about how you mend the mistake. I came back and was told that regardless of the fact they made a mistake I would still be charged expedited shipping, no refund, and would have to pay $80 if I wanted my package to arrive on time. read more

I came into this post office because I paid to have a package re-routed to this location in order to have a safe spot to pick up my package at. That was a nightmare & I will never be doing that again at this location. I arrived & asked the woman at the counter for assistance in finding my package, since tracking showed it was delivered there days prior. She immediately, *aggressively,* told me that they do not accept residential packages there. I showed her the tracking information, and my proof of payment for re-routing the package (which should be free like every other mail carrier to begin with). She still told me I would need to go to some USPS main branch so they could find my "lost package." After a few minutes of me politely asking if someone would be able to assist me in finding my package (since tracking said it was DELIVERED THERE, at their location), she finally went to the back, and found it immediately. She never apologized for not trying to help at first, assuring me that my package was "lost," nor for her lack of knowledge that they accept residential packages there. She then gave me my package & told me I was good to go. I thanked her, and I was on my way. Promptly after I got into my car, I began to back out of my parking spot. Another woman from inside USPS had (without my knowledge) followed me to my car, where my car windows were open, and REACHED IN MY CAR AND GRABBED MY PACKAGE. I gasped, as this encounter actually scared me. I asked what she was doing, to which she responded "you need to pay for this!" - I told her that the woman inside said it was already paid for. She said that the other worker was wrong, and that I'd need to come back inside and pay, and then walked away with my package in hand. (What?!?) I then re-parked my car and went back inside to pay. I told her that she scared me by entering my car through my car window and grabbing MY package. She did not apologize and told me that since she "works for a federal agency, she needed to get payment." All in all, I think this branch is very poorly managed. Customer service is nonexistent there. read more

This is the friendliest Post Office I've visited. There was a little bit of a wait, as to be expected. Both women who have assisted me at this location have been very kind and extremely helpful. My most recent visit was to ship something internationally. The woman assisting us helped us find the most cost effective way to ship our package. Additionally, they're very conscious of making sure you don't have to wait in line again after you step away to fill out a label, etc. Thank you for your kindness! read more

I only use this branch because of its location. Definitely not for the customer service. Or I should say, LACK of customer service. How do these people get hired and keep a job? They are not only unhelpful, but will actually argue with you if you approrach them with a problem. They will defer you to the "Main" office, and not even try to assist you with any problems you may have. The blonde woman is downright mean and rude. The other woman is just ignorant and completely unhelpful. Do not go to this place if you need any assistance what so ever. You are sure to leave frustrated. I must say best post office ever. Vickie, Karen and another lady who I cannot remember her name from top of my head, they are absolutely amazing. Even in middle of pandemic they still recognize me. Vickie is beyond professional,she was helping me out this morning and compliments my handwriting every time (not a lot of people can read). Love the staff here. Rejected my prepaid labels on priority flat rate boxes and asked to pay the difference! I am shipping a lot and this never happened to me before!!!Happened twice with the same person!Went to the other post office, they accepted packages without any questions or extra payments! The WORST customer service ever! Why must they act so incapable? I was in line for at least 10 minutes when one of the reps asks if anyone is buying stamps only, which I was so I raised my hand and walked forward when she acknowledged me. She asked how many I needed and I told her 3, showing her my 3 Christmas cards that I had to mail. She got pushy and said "in what amount" and I showed her the cards saying regular stamps pointing to the cards. She said she couldn't help me determine which stamps were required and I had to tell her how many of each stamp along with the denomination that I wanted. She said when she asked if anyone was buying stamps only that meant she can only sell stamps and not answer any questions! Then why didn't she say that if she was going to be so sensitive about being asked a question?! As if I know what a regular stamp costs? I never go to the post office and this is a good example of why. I'm sorry her job is hard for her. Next time I'll go elsewhere to get stamps so I don't have to interact with rude incapable postal employees. She acted like I should have known the process that was only in her head!! Idiot.
