Has a mohawk and tat on the right arm) proceeded to show me a more expensive unit and not the units matching what I reserved. How do I know? He asked me the upselling questions and never showed me the reserved unit and said none of them were available to show until the day of the move-in? Then why have me reserve? Do you think I'm dumb enough to rent a unit I've never seen? They have 2 dollies for the entire building btw. Then he was performing some speech, pumping up the storage building like a sales pitch he just learned in his Management 101 Class. Cut the bullshit. And show me the unit I reserved. I finally had to share with him I've rented for a decade at all different types of storage companies so I already have experience of what makes a good or bad storage company. This guy either needs more training or put in another role. He wasn't receptive to being challenged with feedback. The whole fake salesman persona was offputting. Come to find out this is new management which they should have been upfront about. They've only been here a month. You can tell if you ever have issues with this storage location that they're going to have every excuse. Bottom line is if I reserve a unit online, I expect to be shown a unit that matches that criteria. What a waste of time. And please don't tell me to email your generic customer service email regarding this situation which will most likely go nowhere. But at least, I can warn people to not rent here.

This place is located right off the 110 in Torrance on the quiet side of Del Amo Blvd. While they are primarily a Self Storage company, they have many U-Haul Services there. This included: Trucks, Boxes, Dollys, Hand Trucks and other rentals. The staff was very courteous and friendly, and they took the time to explain all my options before I rented with them. While I chose to rent through the U-Haul system with a credit card, they will let you rent with cash (though a deposit and ID is required). The rates were the same as U-Haul, which was very reasonable. The best part, besides the convenient location, was off-street parking and no giant trucks to steer around! "Take that, average U-Haul Franchise!" It was super easy to pick up what I needed and hop right on the 110 freeway. If you've read my other reviews, you know I like anything that makes my life easy! I might not be able to speak about the storage side of their business, but if it's anything like their rental services, they are definitely worth considering!

That is similar to what I experienced and basically there is nothing you can do, no response from them, they go back on their word and they have no ethics. When there was a fire at the facility that burned several of the storage lockers, a very kind police officer came out to make a report and the owner, Lena Raballo, was unbelievably indignant, snapped back at the officer angrily and refused to even give the officer her name. The fact that she treated the police officer so badly is just an indication of how their customers are treated. I truly do not know how they stay in business.
