You asked me for a review so here it is...... I'm a Realtor and my clients asked to get a sewer inspection. One of the agents in my office had this company on a list as a few they call. They are basically all the same. They put a line down the sewer and take a video. I think the only difference is how well the tech is able to diagnose what the issue is. So, the guy put the camera down. He stopped when he saw a little bit of pooling of water. It was about 5 ft from the road, pretty far from the house. He automatically said it was roots. We ended up getting a bid from there for the supposed "roots" for $3882.52 We asked for that to be completed by the sellers. Soooooo the sellers got their own inspection completed and we came to find out that there were NO roots. It was a slight decline of the pipe that was causing the pooling and it was in fact on the county's side. Soooooo the part was dug up, I saw it with my own two eyes, and sure enough not one root. The county fixed the issue and the only thing the sellers had to pay for, was for someone to dig the hole and put the dirt back. That was my experience with this company. read more

I used US Trenchless to do a video inspection of the sewer line on a house I was potentially going to buy. I really liked their online scheduling, but it was pretty hard to use on a smartphone. I was able to get it scheduled for the next day and when I arrived at the house to meet the inspector he was already wrapping up! I was impressed that they were not only on time, but early. The technician was super nice and he talked with me for a little bit about the condition of the pipe and how much it would be to replace and I was very satisfied with the interaction. I expected to get the report back the same day or next, but The inspection was on a Wednesday and I didn't get the report until the following Monday. By this time I had already backed out of the deal on the house for other reasons, but I was still surprised to not get anything back from us Trenchless. I paid the invoice when I got it ($149) and then I watched the video, which they just upload to YouTube and email you the link. The video quality was very poor (see screenshot), I'm not a video inspection expert, but I thought it would be maybe a little clearer for $149? The speed of the report is the real issue for me. If I could give zero stars, I would. Long story short: We bought an older home and asked our realtor to arrange a sewer inspection. He chose US Trenchless. They came out, said we needed a clean out, but otherwise our sewer line was A-ok. We paid for the sewer inspection through escrow but I think it was about $200. Once we moved in, we got the clean out. Then our toilets started gurgling every time we flushed them. We called Trenchless back and they came out, and said that we need either descaling of old pipes or (preferably) a brand new sewer line. Excuse me? This was less than a month after they did the inspection in which they told us we only needed a clean out. Abraham (the plumber) then told us that our line was "functional" ---as long as we didn't flush toilet paper. I'm not sure about most people, but it seems to me that having a sewer line that doesn't allow flushing toilet paper is NOT "functional." In the meantime, we were left with a sewer line that doesn't work. Abraham conveniently offered to replace the line entirely for about $20K or to "descale it" for $5K. By that time, we knew that US Trenchless was not to be trusted, so we declined. We called a retired plumber we know, who pointed out that if we descaled the line, we might as well just replace it, because it will need replacement sooner or later. He also told us that all of the big corporation plumbing companies pay their technicians on commission, so the more they get you to agree to, the more they get paid. He then gave us the names of five companies never to use because they price gouge. Guess which company was on the list? We also have another construction project that will involve a connection to the sewer line at some point, so we wanted our contractor's input on the entire project (and he happens to be out of town for a planned vacation). In the meantime, we religiously threw away toilet paper (yuk) and used our dishwasher, garbage disposal, toilets, and sinks as little as possible. Fast forward to today. We noticed actual sewage coming up almost to the top of our clean out in the driveway. My partner called US Trenchless to ask if they were willing to come out again to do another cleanout---considering they were the ones who told us that the line was (first) fine, and then (last week) functional (except for the small detail of not being able to flush toilet paper). First, the man answering the phone started out by saying, "You aren't going to get anything for free," and then proceeded to say we shouldn't be flushing toilet paper (yes, we know), and that we hadn't paid our bill for the first clean out (they had sent it to some email address that has only the vaguest of relationships to our actual emails). Since my partner hadn't asked for anything free-- although it does seem as if they should be offering it--- his statement came out of nowhere, as a defensive comment when she began to explain our situation. After being sure to clarify our real email addresses (only so he could later send a $500 bill for that first clean out), he proceeded to yell at my partner that, again, we weren't going to get anything for free, that it would cost a minimum of $500 for a clean out, that they had done nothing wrong, and that they stand by their inspection. After he called my partner "Darling," she ended the conversation. I'm not sure you could get a more rude, insensitive, accusatory, sexist, or condescending person to be your customer service rep. Since it was now a public health hazard (with sewage bubbling almost into our driveway), we called a plumbing company our neighbor had recommended (Five Star Plumbing), just to do a clean-out. They came out promptly, did a clean out, and gave us some more recommendations to limp along with our sewer until our contractor gets home in three days (for Enquiring Minds: run water before you flush, continue to run water in the sink after you flush, double flush, do anything you can to increase the amount of water in the line so that waste gets carried away in that flow). Instead of the $500 US Trenchless charges for a cleanout, Five Star charged us $225. They also gave us a rough bid of about $10k to excavate our driveway, and lay new sewer line. US Trenchless had told us it would be $20k just to lay the line. I don't have more to add to this, except to say BUYER BEWARE. We have already told our real estate agent about our experience, and he told us that not only will he never use US Trenchless again, he will be sure that none of his associate realtors do either (and this is a very large real estate firm with many associate realtors). He also told us that plumbers have licenses but are not regulated. So please be careful with whatever these people say to you, and get a second opinion and price. The last thing anyone needs when there is a sewer problem is a plumbing company that treats you as if you are sewage too. read more

Abraham came and gave us a bid on a new main waterline (245ft). We received multiple bids and chose US Trenchless, based largely on Abraham's professionalism, and manner in which he assessed our project. While not the cheapest, the questions we asked were answered beyond our satisfaction and the questions we didn't know to ask were addressed as well. Once started, the team was punctual, courteous, extremely neat and well organized. Immediately we felt good about trusting them to do the job RIGHT. This was a complex job to bid on, as it's a historical home and there were many unknowns going in to start the project.(extremely difficult to bid with accuracy). The project took 2 full weeks to complete, but our expectations were set the right way. They definitely underpromised and OVER-Delivered! After completion of the work, and beyond satisfied/relieved, we had a small issue at 10pm during the following week. Abraham was out of the country and not only responded immediately, but also instructed us on how to address the issue for the night, and had the crew out to our home the next morning! By that afternoon we said thanks and the job has now been completed almost a month ago. We can't say enough how pleased we are to have placed our trust in US Trenchless. Thank You Abraham! read more

We bought a house in Citrus Heights, built in 1958, and the sewer inspection revealed that roots had invaded the sewer lateral, and that the original cast iron sewer pipe in the kitchen had completely corroded. The house has a concrete slab foundation, which makes access to the sewer pipes problematic. Abraham was friendly and professional in bidding the repair work. Francisco and Carlos performed the work, and did a great job. They were thorough and careful, showing us what was going on at each step, and they completed on time. We hired US Trenchless to perform the sewer line inspection on our home when we were purchasing it, they came out quickly and provided a detailed quote and video of the inspection scope. The line turned out to need a full replacement as it was 50+ years old and they gave us the best price & quality of service. While they were doing it they noticed a badly rusted and corroded water line next to it that we weren't aware of! US Trenchless did a prepurchase inspection of a 50+ year old townhouse we were purchasing. Their inspection revealed the original line from our property was heavily corroded and needed to be cleaned out. Although I was not happy about the additional expense related to purchasing, we went ahead and had the line cleaned Best thing we could have done ! Within a month, the sewer line was clogged and backing up. I called US Trenchless and they were out the next day and ran the camera down the line. It was clear. As it turned out, there was a block in the main line that is controlled and maintained by the HOA. I also purchased an older home that was inspected by US Trenchless. The work was not able to be completed before close and I was given credit to fix once I got the keys. I made a call and Abraham went out of his way to get the work started on a Friday (the day I got the keys) and complete the job on Monday (before we officially moved in) - while keeping in touch of the progress by text. We have rocks for a front yard and I was worried that a trench and fixes would leave an obvious impression. Jonas came out for a sewer inspection back in Feb 2019, they claimed we needed $5882 worth of repairs. They sent along a video showing the issues, with no way to confirm that was in fact a video of our property. Fast forward to October, we thought this needed to get fixed. After doing some investigation of our own, we saw it was all new piping. We asked them to come back out and show us the camera feed live, with us there looking. The technician from their company who came back out on November 7th agreed that there were no repairs needed. We called them to re-send the inspection report with a clean report to reflect the correct situation. They didn't seem surprised by this, nor did they apologize or sound concerned the original video was inaccurate. They claimed it must have been a mistake. We think they were just trying to get over on us for $6k worth of "work" that wasn't needed. read more

Amazing experience with this company. I got 3 bids for sewage project and they came almost half the other guys. Knowing this is a rental property for me, they always recommended what was cost effective. I know nothing about plumbing beyond a plunger so they could have told me anything and I would have believed them, but the actually invoice came back lower than the estimate (by a lot) because some of the things I approved on the estimate they determined were direly necessary and could wait. I originally called to ask if a quote I received was still valid because the issue they warned about made the toilets unusable. They told me he would have the entire project done in a week, which I thought was generous but I was still in a bad spot with my tenant. Two days after giving me a week timeline, they came with a small crew and painstakingly did the project same day. I didn't suggest they expedited my service but they did anyways. It's like they made my problem their problem. Highly recommend these guys, will be using them with all future projects. read more

They had to replace a pipe that had root intrusion. The person came dug down deep. Showed me the damage, repaired and replaced the the line, showed me the root, (looked like a solid piece of wood), ran a hydro jet, and ran the camera through the line. Afterward, filled the hole and ground covering, looked like they were never there. Good work, kept me informed, very polite. I am very pleased. read more
