I am beyond disappointed with my visit to this nail salon. After a terrible experience previously, I gave them a second chance because it's close to home, but it was a complete disaster. After waiting just a few minutes, I was seated with nail tech #11. I showed her a picture of the exact style I wanted--Gel X--but she dismissed it and insisted on a different, more expensive acrylic set. I went along, trusting her, but halfway through, she told me it would be an exorbitant price--$130--for something that was essentially just a basic French tip with two gems. She kept adjusting the total as she wrote it down, and when I questioned it, she suddenly dropped it to $90--obviously trying to rip me off. The whole service took over two hours, and I was completely ignored while others who came in after me were finished first. By the end, she rushed the design, it was sloppy, and even now, the nails are lifting and the gems are falling off. This was a complete waste of money. Our technician was NT we always go to her because she has a good connection with my daughter, which is handicapped and always does her nails. We bring in a picture of what she wants and she walks out with it on her hands! Went in for a basic French tip nail set using builder gel. The woman who helped me was not very polite and seemed rushed. She did not greet me kindly or engage with me with a positive attitude. Her rude demeanor was enough for me to feel uncomfortable. I noticed my left thumb nail felt like it was stinging when she filed it down, but dismissed it thinking it was normal. I later noticed that she overfilled all of my nails when I removed them and found rings of fire on my natural nails. My left thumb was the most damaged, it was cracked! Not just over-filed, but cracked on the surface! I regret going and would not go back. It has taken more than two months for my nails to grow back out and I can still see the damage. Went in for a fill, new design and a pedicure. The women who did the services were kind and very friendly. NT did my fill and design, she is very talented and gave me exactly what I'd asked for and Joan who did my pedicure gave me a fabulous leg/foot massage. Left me smooth and the products smelled so good; I opted for the collagen treatment. Although I'm happy with the overall look I did receive a cut on my left big toe & I would've really liked my toes to match my hands more for the price point. They were done by two different women I think maybe the skill sets were different. I'd asked for a red flower on my big toes to match my hands then I was handed nails stickers to choose from. Horrible experience asked for chrome pedicure. Asked for girl who always does my pedicures was told she wasn't in. They said everyone was good... I then told nail tech I wasn't happy with color. She filed my skin and cut me three times!! I paid but upon paying I tried telling the front desk. They didn't want to listen to me. I called later to speak to the manager. No customer should be made to feel like they're wrong!! I work in a spa , and customer service. Upon calling today to come back for the fix, 4 days later I was told I'd have to pay another 28 dollars for a polish change on top of the 65 I already originally paid... or thecould put polish on top of polish.
