USPS RSM postal office is located at Adventura & Empresa. The same strip mall with Arco and KFC. It is a small, busy shopping center so considering yourself lucky if you find an open parking slot when you pull in. Its layout is basically an open hall. The line is right in the center when you walk in. It usually has only 1 clerk serving customers so the line often goes straight to the door, even outside the door. An alternative is the El Toro postal office at El Toro & Raymond, that offers faster service from my experience. read more

Marked as delivered and it never arrived is the most common complaint I have for this location. They love marking things as delivered to steal. I've called them and shown up to find they "mysteriously" find so many packages I'm convinced they do this intentionally. My wife and I have never had any issues here. Today Friday we showed up around 2:15 pm, and this location was empty. No waiting in line. My wife uses this location on Friday often to drop her certified mail off from work. Usually there is no line. But yes, sometimes it gets super packed, and the two clerks up front can lack a friendly gesture, and the parking lot can get really hectic also since it is shared with other shops. Let me give you a great example why USPS is doomed to fail and continues to be approaching bankruptcy. I received an Amazon package from a seller who sent me the item in a small usps priority box. Upon me returning that item, the seller gave me a usps ground shipping label. When I put the usps ground d label on the original "priority" box to ship it back to the seller, USPS would not accept the package because it was a ground shipping label on a "priority" box. WHO CARES ABOUT THE BOX. YOU GO BY THE LABEL. THE LABEL IS SCANNED AND TELLS YOU WHERE ITS GOING. THE BOX CAN SAY ANYTHING, BE ANY COLOR, BE DIPPED IN GOLD. IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT THE BOX SAYS. Further proof USPS is incapable of common sense, is the worst partner for business shipping and is so far behind it's competitors who don't have such incompetent rules. This isn't a reflection in this location specifically as the poor staff is just doing what they are told, but they did say I couldn't cross of the priority with a marker or anything and I simply couldn't use the box. Just insanely incompetent USPS can't figure their stuff out as the type of box should not matter whatsoever. Glad I ran into this as I was considering using USPS for my Amazon business, but no chance now after learning this insane policy. read more

BEST PO EVER! Every time I have come here, it's easy-breezy - hardly any lines, and if there are, it goes very smoothly. What has impressed me the most recently is that I had a PO Box there and decided I didn't need it anymore. More than a year later, I ended up accidentally giving someone returning a package to me my PO Box on the return-shipping label. I called to see if the package had arrived yet. It hadn't, but I left my phone number w/ a gentleman who works there named John. He was super nice. A week later, one of the trainee supervisors, named Jaime, called ME regarding my package that still hadn't been delivered to give me the status! One week later, the supervisor, Gary, called me informing me the package still hadn't arrived and that it was at a PO in Michigan. He told me not to be concerned - that it would, in fact, end up at his PO, and he will call me personally - AGAIN - to let me know as soon as it arrives!!! Now THAT is amazing customer service! I don't even have a PO Box there anymore; yet, the kindness and service and follow-through of all the staff, especially Gary and Jaime, truly impressed me! Thank you gentlemen!!! read more

I have read these reviews and this must have been with the old ownership! I have been coming here for the last few months and I can tell you Charlie and Ethan are amazing! Always helpful with returns and shipping needs! They even helped me print my daughter's invitations in a pinch when my printer went down! They greet everyone when they come in and are efficient! Sorry for those who have had a bad experience, I can tell you this is my go to place and I keep coming back because of their customer service! Definitely a cheers vibe, when they know many by name. Is it any surprise it's a one star review here? I came in with low expectations on a Saturday at 11am. Line was one person long (awesome!) but once I got up to the desk I was shoo'd away to go tape up my own box and wait in line again (now 4 people long). I had a small box and a prepaid tag. I usually mail my items via UPS however this online sale apparently could only be mailed via USPS. Staff is rude and not in the slightest bit willing to be helpful rather irritated if they have to assist in any way other than ringing up items or throwing the mail into the bin for delivery. At least all USPS post offices are consistent with them all being awful! Haha. read more

I came to ship 3 packages and I was dealing with Maria, without greeting me she ripped my tags that I purchased off the boxes and said "don't you know they go on the bottom?" Extremely rude and yes that's exactly how she greeted me, then I said "ok, nobody has ever told me and I have shipped thousands of packages with usps for over 15 years" Anyway she never offered me insurance on my packages and when I asked for insurance she said it was too late she already printed the receipt. I then asked for insurance to be added and she acted like a little child going back to the box and picking it up and trying to make me feel bad. Long story short, I would avoid this place like the plague. Whoever runs this station is a poor manager to allow someone like this to be the face of their store. I know of a lot of polite people that would kill to have a job and would provide a personable experience with the customers. I have seen many negative reviews on here. I have to say, I personally have not had a negative experience here with any individual. Maria is always more than helpful when I come in. Hector and Juan are great also. I may not have packaged something properly, or it is considered a parcel due to thickness, but that is not their fault. They always let me know, it is over the allotted parameters, and I just pay the additional and move forward. This allows me to know for the next time I have a shipment like this to adjust the contents or pack it more appropriately. They will even let me know I can repackage it for priority mail flat rate which would be more cost effective for my company. They are great individuals who always do a good job with customer service! read more

I know everyone always complains about the Post Office but I've had pleasant experiences at this one. I recently shipped an item out from here. Upon arrival the recipient informed me the package had been damaged and therefore my item damaged. I filed a claim online, not the easiest process but a week later I did receive a check for the insured amount. That was a pleasant surprise given the reports I'd been told about the process. I wish i could give less stars to this place. As someone who has never shipped a package before, I went in not really knowing what to do. I was the only person in the store and was clearly struggling. The woman and man who worked there just watched me, laughing. They never offered to help. I went up to them asking for help, they talked to me like I was a 5 year old, and continued to explain to me that the package I was trying to send was in the wrong type of envelope. I found the right envelope, struggled to fit my package inside, and then wanted to know the next step. Keep in mind im 19 and have never shipped anything in my life. The woman treated me like an idiot, offered no help, and watched me for about 15 minutes not telling me what I needed to do. I found tape to put on the outside of the package but it was a huge contraption i have never used before. I aked the man for help, he walked over and told me I didn't know how to use the tape correctly, i already knew this. It would have been nice if someone just helped me tape up the outside postage. He just watched and eventually walked away. I ripped the tape off, and went to the lady at the counter, now waiting because one more person was in the store. She looked up at me in line and said "uhhh did you need something??" As if i was bothering her. I said "yes, i dont know how to use the giant tape dispenser and I really need help because I've never done this before." And she said "well thats the only tape we have you shouldve brought your own." Luckily, the customer in front of me saw how much I was struggling and offered to help me as the woman who worked there sat and watched. The lady helping me struggled with the tape too. Finally we got it, i sent my package, but I will never be coming back here again. As someone who works with customers on a daily basis, seeing someone treat me like this was very shocking.
