    Pad Thai
    Shannon G.

My first time here. My friend had been here once before. And she wanted to show me where it was. I ordered the pad Thai and coconut shrimp. Both were good. I would have rather had a sweet saucer with the coconut shrimp. But other than that. It was pretty good. The shrimp was flavorful with a crunch. I got 6 pieces. Pad Thai was good. It was a lot of food. You have options for your protein. I got true tofu. Tofu is very bland on its own, so you do need to season it. This tofu had no seasoning, and it was a little disappointing. The service was a little disappointing. It's young adults and they are literally just doing a job. Here's your food, here's your check. A tip from me to you as someone who has worked in a tip based job. Be charming. Chat with your customers. Check in half way through their meal and asks how the food is, have you tried this meal? It's my favorite, come back and try it, it's so good. Be dramatic. Be personable. It goes a long way and you'll get bigger tips. Southern charm will make a world of difference. Someone please teach these young adults.

Two visits, first time the food was decent service was very minimal I'll take that as a fluke maybe caught them on a bad day. Second visit June 28th, service was even worse than before. You have three high school kids sitting around at the front counter while you're water glass has been empty for 15 minutes so coming over to ask if I needed a check or to go box and literally had to ask him for more water that was at the edge of the table. Too many restaurants around here especially 3 Doors Down to put up with this. The food, I had the one bowl away last time it was decent but not stellar and then this time I had this shaken beef which was okay came with a nice side palette of egg drop soup which was okay. Y'all need some adult managers on this site if you want to see Improvement on the place. Place was pretty clean but when it's not busy of course nothing will get messed up or dirty. I meant is decent inside a little dark to read the venues but one can get by. Parking is ample it shares a strip joint.

Service is very attentive and food was good. Portions are on the smaller side but it scratched the itch. Will come back to have their lunch specials!

This is UTeaPho's second location. The food is delicious and flavorful. The Vietnamese iced coffee is a must have! The owner was friendly and the service was good too. There's not many Vietnamese food in the Lakeway area but UTeaKitchen is going to lead the path for Vietnamese cuisine to expand. I highly recommend visiting for a fresh, healthy, and tasty meal!

    Spicy Pho

We love Pho and Vietnamese food and bubble tea, and UTea Kitchen is in the top five in the world we have had. Can't recommend enough. Their spicy Pho is superb.

Needed to add this cute picture of my slushie with strawberry boba. We have great service and great food every time we come here!

That said, enjoying our pho in person was the right way to do it! Steaming hot and so savory, the broth really was a flavor punch I didn't know to expect! The brisket and tendon was cooked beautifully and melted with each bite. I didn't even need to add any sauce which is a huge compliment. They do have a small bar where you can grab toppings like jalapeños and limes. This didn't seem to get replenished throughout the day, and given we were there for dinner, some of the items seemed a little past their prime. From what I could see, there was only one team member managing phone, cash register, and bussing, and one person in the kitchen, so I can't fault them too much for this. Clearly a small family run business that I'll definitely come back to!

Bun Bo Hue ($18.99): Wow, this was so delicious and flavorful that I didn't even need the sauce it came with. Tacos ($12.99) + Grilled Beef ($2): Came with 2 scallion pancake tacos. The beef was a bit drier than the one on the banh mi but still good overall. I didn't think the lettuce and tomato worked with the scallion pancake though. It's a good concept that just needs a little tweaking. Grilled Beef Banh Mi ($13.99): The bread was soft but the star of the show was the grilled beef. It was much fattier than the one in the taco and the flavors were phenomenal. Grilled Pork Broken Rice ($16.99): The pork was a bit drier than the beef but the flavors were fine. The egg cake tasted a little strange to me but everything else was standard.

The…read moreThai basil leaves were absolutely ginormous, and they gave us plenty of them alongside very fresh limes, which I appreciated. The bowl itself came loaded with meat--they definitely weren't skimping to save money here. The meat-to-noodle ratio felt great, and every bite actually had substance instead of leaving me fishing around for toppings. As for the broth, I landed somewhere in the middle. It wasn't quite as clear or light as I personally prefer, leaning toward a fattier, milkier undertone that almost reminded me of a Vietnamese pho take on tonkotsu. The flavor itself was undeniably very good, but the richness may have been a bit too much for me personally. One way I usually judge how much I love a pho broth is whether I want to sip the bowl down to the very end, and this one wasn't quite light enough for me to want to do that. I've had richer and deeper pho flavors elsewhere, but I still appreciated the flavor profile here and could absolutely see why this place is so popular. It feels hearty, comforting, and satisfying in a way that clearly resonates with many people. Despite how packed the restaurant was, the atmosphere ended up being surprisingly pleasant. Service moved very quickly, which honestly impressed me given how busy everything felt. Even with the crowd, I didn't dislike the spacing or setup at all--the restaurant still felt comfortable, and the sound of people enjoying their food all around added to the lively, welcoming energy rather than making it feel overwhelming. Overall, Pho Phong Lưu ended up being one of those places where I completely understood the hype, even if it didn't become my personal favorite pho spot. While the broth leaned richer than my preference, I still enjoyed the experience and definitely look forward to trying other dishes next time.

BEST PHO SOUP IN AUSTIN!!! I've been living here for 10…read moreyears and tucked away in the back of The Village at Westlake, is a FABULOUS PHO VIETNAMESE RESTAURANT CALLED LEE'S. I had no idea it was even here and I LOVE PHO. I've been under the weather with horrible allergies and I was craving a great bowl of Pho Soup, so I finally Googled "Pho in Westlake, and Lee's came up. So I called up, ordered and drove over. The ambiance is super cute and clean. THIS SOUP BLEW MY MIND!!! This soup blew anything out of the water that I have tasted in Vietnam. Healthy and hardy portion. We started off with the spring rolls. These were the freshest Spring rolls I have ever tasted, and the sauce was incredible. Then we moved onto the 1 Beef Pho and 1 Vegetable Pho that we ordered. I put some beef in the Vegetable Pho, and it tasted phenomenal. As well, I wanted to add that I don't even like tofu, but the tofu that was in the soup was so fresh and spongy. Nothing like you've ever tasted, in a fabulous, unexpected but tasty way. THE BEEF BROTH WAS AMAZING!!! EVERYTHING I WANTED AND MORE!!! MY NEW GO TO PHO PLACE!!! Shout out to Brittany and your take out crew/staff........for being Extremely hospitable and inviting. ONLY SUGGESTION-I've been in marketing & sales, the restaurant industry, and the hospitality industry for over 32 YEARS. Now I'm in Corporate Real Estate. I've travelled the whole world and what I am telling you is that YOU HAVE THE BEST PHO SOUP I'VE EVER TASTED.......AND I HAD NO IDEA YOU WERE EVEN THERE!!! (and I've been in Westlake for 10 years, and I drive into that parking lot, minimally 3 times a day, for one reason or another). Why is this? How come I didn't know you were there?......Besides the fact that I never googled "Pho Westlake". I'll tell you why......from my experience and expertise, it because of your signage and name. With the name "Lee's Kitchen and Cocktails", I thought you were just another Chinese restaurant, and were loyalists to Chinatown Westlake. Which leads me back to how can we fix this, and generate you more business?! I'll tell you how you do it....I like your name, but I would have your signage company make a BIG black and white, LARGE sign in Italic, that says "PHO". Then have a bowl of soup with chopsticks coming out of it. But minimally a LARGE "PHO" in writing. I'd place it to the right of LEE'S Kitchen and Cocktails. That way every one will know what you serve, when they look at your name. Then I would go on all your social media platforms and ADD "PHO" to your name. Either LEE'S PHO-Kitchen + Cocktails, or something to that effect. LEE'S Kitchen + Cocktails-PHO. Had I seen this on the wall for the last 10 years, 3 times a day, I WOULD HAVE STOPPED, COME IN, AND BEEN YOUR CUSTOMER FOR THE LAST 2 PLUS YEARS. Please take my suggestion to heart and I can't wait to see your business thrive, even more than it already is. With love, Joanne and family

It is on the pricier side compared to other Vietnamese restaurants so it is not something we get too often. Hainan Chicken ($25): Really good and feels like a healthier option. Make sure you use all of the sauce though because that is where the flavor is. It also comes with a broth that is so good we just drank it straight. Honestly better than the pho broth. Chicken Pho with Beef Broth ($23): The shredded chicken was overcooked and the broth was just alright. The portion was generous though.
