9 12 17 I received my APS bill on 8 10 17. In the envelope…read morewas a note saying their printer had problems and was late in sending out bills. The amount of the bill was $266.08 with included a discount of $31.75. This would bring the total before discount $297.83 and this is for a 12 ft. X 60 ft. mobile home. I looked at the Average daily electricity use per month comparison from July of 2017 to July of 2016 and saw an outrageous difference in comparison. I immediately called APS and told them I disputed the amount. I live alone and did nothing different from last year to cause such a great increase. Then I got the "OH THIS WAS AN EXCEPTIONALLY HOT YEAR, BLA, BLA, BLA" BLOW OFF. I CALLED AZ CORP COMMISSION AND TOLD THEM MY COMPLAINT TO WHICH THEY REPLIED THEY WOULD CONTACT APS AND HAVE ONE OF THE CSR INVESTIGATE. Shortly thereafter I received a call from aps Customer Representative named Tracy Dean. I told her the problem and also insisted that just looking at the comparison from last year this bill was in error. She said she would get back to me. I stated that I reside in the same mobile I have for the last 25 years, a 12 ft. X 60 ft. live alone and have had no difference in my life style from last year yet just looking at the average daily electricity use per month comparison to last year there has to be some kind of error. The current bill being just shy of $300 for the month. She said she would check into it and get back to me. Get back to me she did. After checking into the situation she did notify me that there would be a $41.00 credit and that it would be applied to my next month's bill. I am a senior on a limited income and on behalf of all seniors living on a very limited income I want to extend a sincere thank you for her professionalism and promptness. The $41.00 credit shows me that not only is there a God but that large corporations do make mistakes. It is too bad that not all CSR really do look into it as many just want to just get rid of you.

APS sets an arbitrary $750 maximum charge for credit cards with a $2.65 credit card fee. My monthly…read moreelectric bill is consistently over $750 a month as Arizona is a desert climate, hence I am forced to pay two credit card fees monthly. I have repeatedly requested the $750 charge limit be adjusted so I would only incur one credit card fee. Neither APS or Paymentus will take accountability. As a former banker, I am well aware that APS has the authority to raise the maximum credit charge.

Lies and scams - normal operating procedures. Their so-called discount programs are entirely bogus…read more "Income Qualified Discount" is just about non-existent. The only people who'll ever get that are those willing to spend dozens of hours at each of the following: IRS, SSA, Medicaid, and Retirement accounts, etc... to get a $10 a month discount. SRP claims they support the community, and support those less fortunate. And boy does that look good on paper. Unfortunately, that's all it does... looks good on paper. *They want pay stubs - I'm unable to work. *They want tax papers - I'm unable to work, therefore, I don't file taxes. *They want SSA paperwork - that's a 50 mile drive and 6 to 8 hours at the Social Security office. *They want Medicaid paperwork - that's a 30 mile drive and 6 to 8 hours at the Medicaid office. *They want retirement benefit paperwork - that one isn't even in the state. There's another 1-2 days on the phone. The last three, even if I went through the arduous task of getting those papers, would be all for naught, as they require pay stubs and tax papers. This company doesn't hesitate to use their monopoly to raise prices and lower service.

In summary, I contacted them that the reads (daily usage) was not working on their website…read more Instead of fixing the software, they replaced the meter, which I told them not to do because they were incompetent from the start, and they did it anyway, so power surge destroyed my computer (computer was not on, but was plugged in). If I had known that could have happened, I would have disconnected the power cord from the outlet. Never received any pre-installation checklists or what precautions to take before replacing the meter - no warning at all. I have contacted them numerous times, and their only interest is to fix the meter so they can charge me more. They destroyed my computer, refuse to take responsibility, and the ombudsman is horrible, just horrible to deal with, customer service is non-existent. Believe me, they will not help, even when they created the mess. Bottom line, I suffered extensive damages, and the issue was never resolved, reads still broken. Horrible people. Have to file a complaint the Attorney General's Office in order to get them to respond. This organization and its representatives are despicable.

I don't think CenturyLink wants to be reviewed. There is no place to review their phone service…read more It's not that it's bad but, this company is behind in catching up with installing fiber optic cable for their customers. In our subdivision we still have the old wiring that was installed in 1972, so at times it can get static or no dial tone. Their customer service is lacking in being friendly. They do try and you have to give them credit for that. This last go around we had to have the service guys come out six times before all was back to normal. The suggestion I would give them is not to have their customers feel like being an inconvenience in calling to get your phone back to working order. So for this and only for this I can only give them two stars. The saga continues with Century Link. It is unfortunate for the company to not provide a decent phone service. I do understand that most of us have a cell phone and maybe that's what Century Link wants, for us to switch to only cell phone service? I don't really know but, the thing is that now we the customer have to provide a service to their company instead of the other way around. Meanwhile their service people are very decent people that try their best to fix your problem in the heat of all things. This phone company is not customer friendly and it is to the credit of the field service people that this company is able to survive. It is my opinion that if they want to offer a lifetime payment to have their service they have to provide a service that will keep their customers for life. Giving them two stars is more than kind and if I could redo this I would give them half a star. Especially when their fix is to place an above ground line to save face. When in essence they need to replace the phone line to have complete new service lines. End of this adventure. Maybe more to come.

The person on line gave me a phone number and all that rep kept saying was they needed to reset my user name and password. I told her three (3) times I could not even get to the page to set up a user name or password, but she was going to transfer me to them anyway. So I screamed that since I did not have a user name or password the transfer was as useless as she was and hung up. Hope I still have long distance service.

I have a friend that is a Solar Rep and he set a very polite appointment with a gentleman to just simply "Compare Rates" and when he got to the house, the gentleman that had been very interested and enthusiastic the day before, was sarcastic and rude with my friend and stated very sharply that their neighbor works for aps and that the people knocking on doors are scam artists and that there's no such thing as Net Billing/Net Metering(my friend was so disappointed that he felt compelled to PROVE to me that APS DOES IN FACT PARTICIPATE in the Net Metering Program PROOF EVIDENT BY A DOCUMENT THAT APS REQUIRES THE NEW SOLAR SYSTEM OWNERS TO SIGN BEFORE THEY(APS) WILL ALLOW THEM TO DO SO .. and because I know my friend to be an honest to goodness gentleman, he had no choice other than to believe that the APS employee neighbor was either FED FALSE information by their employer, OR, she flat out LIED and bashed an entire industry that is saving homeowners hundreds of thousands of dollars all over this nation .. my friend told me that there will be MORE SOLAR PANELS INSTALLED IN 2024 than ALL THE SOLAR PANELS INSTALLED IN THE LAST 10 YEARS .. COMBINED .. Yeah .. LMAO .. must be a scam .. if we believe the APS employee, then we have to assume that millions of Americans that "went Green" are STUPID and BLIND .. by way of comparison, my buddy helped a family just 2 doors down from the rude man and his APS employee neighbor, and he helped those homeowners lower their electricity bill by almost 40% AND APS has to pay them back every January for all the extra power their system makes .. and they have No Lien on their house, No Financial Liability, Everything is Covered .. Guaranteed, Insured, Warranteed, Monitored and Maintenance is ALL PAID FOR within the contract .. AND to top it all off, if my friend's customer decides to buy the system, it will add $35,000.00 value to their home and they get a 30% Tax Credit .. the end game? The neighbor is going to save over $120,000.00 over the next 20 years .. and in 20 years(if APS continues to raise their rates and gouge their customers,) the guy who claimed that his APS neighbor said that it was a scam, will be paying roughly $1,800.00 per month .. that wreaks of monopoly backed up by lies and unjust corporate enrichment ..
