This place is a gem. So spacious and open. Bright. I loved it. Parking sucks, the garage or no own personal parking. The garage can get packed on a weekend. Our server was mia for the most part after we got our apps. The chicken wings, ahi tuna and brewers platter. They're all entrees are so limited compared to what I see on Yelp. So the chicken wings were so delicious. That sauce is everything. The ahi tuna had so much flavor and it all paired perfectly together. Just wish it was in a more bite size piece. The brewers platter? It is sooo worth getting. I loved everything on their besides the cheese coffee. There's plenty for 3,4 people pick at. The beer flights? My favorite. I had them surprise me but I tried the golden grant, sop, snowcabin ipa, some coffee beer that doesn't look like coffee but totally taste and smells of it. So Utah has way more breweries than I thought they would and soon they'll be able to serve 5.0. Whoo hoo and welcome to the real world of brewing. Okay, to be fair, the beers were good. We had a flight of Hefe ( not the fruited one), Citra Pale Ale, Golden Grant and Session IPA. Again I liked them all, but we settled on the Golden Grant, a refreshing lighter beer with a nice balance of hops and malt and the Top Shelf IPA. An excellent balance of citrus and hops. The Philly cheese steak was big enough to share, if you do that kind of thing. The UTOG burger was piled high and you wouldn't leave hungry with either choice. Service was excellent and the dining area had plenty of seating. Parking could be an issue at busy times, but we really liked the location. read more

Stayed at a hotel down the block and stopped in looking for good beer and a unique food selection. I was blown away! Great food and the beer selection was amazing. The bartender was very friendly and attentive. I had the brussel sprouts and butternut squash soup, which were both some of the best I have ever had. Two stars because the beer was excellent (5 stars there) but I ended up walking out without ordering any food. The menu has four dinner entrees and two of them were scratched out so you have a choice between fried fish or ribs. They've got plenty of sandwiches and burgers for lunch but this is not a dinner place. read more

What an amazing place. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. The customer service is top notch. The food is awesome. I had the cheese burger with fries which was very affordable and delicious. My wife had the Reuben Bites are crazy amazing good. And they just started a new beer that was called Synergy Coffee Lager which was great and I highly recommend trying. It was crisp and refreshing. This is one of the best places in Ogden to eat, drink and mingle. Don't miss out and try this place at least once. You will come back. read more

Favorite spot in Ogden. Unfortunate I passed it forever assuming the waiting area I saw from my car was the whole place and that they just did beer carry out. Maybe my favorite Ogden brewery, possibly Utah, and pretty solid food. read more

We were seated quickly once we entered. Waiter got there 4-5 minutes later to ask if we wanted drinks. My kids ordered their drink and received them in large glasses, no straws. Waited 4 minutes longer to get straws for kids who are 7 and 9 so that they can drink out of the large glasses given to them. The kids ordered a cheese burger and a grilled cheese for $6. They liked the food but the fries were over cooked. Then it was $2.50 for the drinks that are not included in the kids meal so figure $8.50 for a kids meal if you go there. Some coloring pages to keep the kids entertained while we waiting for our food would have been nice. My wife and I ordered there grilled salmon salad. $14??? I was expecting more than half a bowl of green mix veggies and a small piece of fish. The menu said it came with grilled asparagus. It did. One piece in the salad. The Golden Grant beer was ok but nothing I would buy again. The waiter never offered to refill our drinks but was prompt at bringing our check. Will I go back? No. Would I recommend UTOG? No. Go to Roosters if you want good food and way better beer. read more

Preliminary rating. I'm in a group of 10 and thus far it's been over an hour wait for a table with nothing that looks promising. Because it's a 'restaurant not a bar' we can't order a cocktail while we wait. Most likely we'll cut our losses and bail after a few more minutes. Not good for groups. After 20 min (now ~1 hr & 1/2 after walking in the door) half our group still don't have their drinks. Most of the staff is working hard, it's just set up poorly, very inefficient. End of dinner, we're all sitting here with credit cards in hand. Service was poor. Food, mediocre at best. The business owner left a lot of money on the table tonight. read more

Off the beaten path in Ogden, but worth finding. I know it's weird, but I ordered a buffalo chicken salad in a brewery. However, it was probably the best chicken salad that I have had. The sweet potato fries were crispy and tasted great to go along with it. Of course it was a beer place, so had to order a beer as well. Tried both the Kolsch and the Hefeweizen and both were excellent. Service was slow to start. Sat at a high top table due to the bar being full. However, once I was acknowledged the service was excellent. She was quick with beer refills and the food came out of the kitchen quick and hot. Little slow to bring the check, but I wasn't in a rush. Environment is a little loud, but not more than I expected walking into a brewery. Cool atmosphere and excellent work staff. Everyone I saw working had a smile and was moving through out my time there. Would definitely do back the next time I am in Ogden. read more

Very loud inside, not good for conversing with family. It was also very cold in there. They did accommodate our group who was originally seated at a large bar type table with a filthy center of the table. Eventually moved to a regular table. Really slow service and orders came out randomly for a party of 9. Friendly staff whom we know was trying their best. Ordered another beer and never received it, but that was okay. Very expensive food that was mediocre at best. We had issues with being overcharged on our mandatory gratuity that was added and was more than the 20%! The food was very good. Probably some of the most interesting and delicious dishes I have had in Ogden. -----The fried Reuben Balls are genius---- The only thing is that's sooo loud in there. I think this could be mostly resolved with some sound absorption panels on the ceiling but I'm not a sound engineer, so who knows. Honestly, we have been meaning to go back but just haven't because we don't feeling like dealing with the noise after a long day. read more

A perfect spot to get in some delicious craft beers before catching a game. And bonus they have beers here over4%!! My fave had to be the hops deep. Basically brand New opening -- growing pains with a novice server & mediocre front of the house leadership . Kitchen will learn to only let quality food out the door. My Bloody Mary bar was great and price point was excellent! That said.. constructive criticism aside- they will get it. Price point was amazing... and I am cheap! It was perhaps too low! More staff training-- typical "Do's and Dont's" in food and bar service. They will figure it out and local experienced servers will make their way and add to their ranks and they will pull that synchrony together. Decor and vibe is set- nice location. So proud of our O-Town! You can pub crawl for three nights straight and still not hit it all! Utog is an excellent brewery and restaurant. The ambience is ideal; its style is modern, sleek, open, warehouse. The gorgeous wood bar, the elegant stemware and dishes, the unique gray and white napkins, and the sophisticated menu are all evidence that the owners pay careful attention to detail and have good taste. The focal point and showstopper, though, is the distillery itself. It's sunken in the back center of the restaurant, with access around it, making it a cool part of the dining experience. The owners, managers, and serving staff are very friendly, kind, and knowledgeable about the menu. I felt well-taken care of there. They were helpful and patient without being overbearing. The beer is really good!! I'm not a beer fan, but I enjoyed the Golden Grant!! It was light and crispy and not too hoppy. The Downtown Mai Tai was yummy as well, and I'm eager to get back to try more from the cocktail menu!! The food was delicious as well as visually pleasing. I enjoyed the wings dipped in the house-made ranch, the beer brat with fries, and the brownie (contains chocolate chips!) a la mode! I will be back soonto try more! Utog is a new favorite restaurant! You have many types of brews with the concept of skiing/snowboarding with the green, blue, black, and double black diamond to show the strength of the beer. The IPAs were pretty spot on. I'll start this off with mentioning that we did go as a party of 13, and that being said, I can completely understand the service taking time. We didn't mind the wait at all, as there was cornhole outside, and taking time to get food and orders makes sense. However, the service was still lacking I felt. The first thing that bothered me was the waiter Wayne talking up the most expensive item, the ribs, to me despite my initial order of the burger. He really encouraged ordering these ribs, saying that it's the reason most people go. That's a lie; you go for the beer. The ribs were burnt, my brother's burger was past well done, his girlfriend's salmon was drowned in BBQ sauce, and the wings my uncle ordered came out room temp. Add onto this that we had to ask for water several times and on several occasions watched Wayne stand around in the back doing nothing(we were one of the only parties there), and I was truly peeved by this restaurant. read more
