UvaSun is a great place to get a sunless spray tan. They have 2 different types of spray tan. I have been getting the Liquid Sun because I was told that the tan will last longer and my skin won't be as dry as other products. I really love it. It does NOT smell bad at all. The tan is a perfect color and lasts for about a week (or a bit less). I have a trip coming up to the Cayman Islands later this month, so I look forward to going in and getting tanned. Had an amazing experience at UVA sun. Staff is friendly, warm, welcoming and attentive. What an incredible experience! I was walking by and popped in to learn more about light therapy. I was greeted by Lenora who is just the loveliest person. Lenora walked me through the services patiently and thoroughly. I did the Contour Body Sculpting and the Omnilux light therapy for the face. I was in heaven, so relaxing. Oh and happened to shrink a few inches too! Greg, the owner was also on site and was so kind and informative about the services. I couldn't have felt more taken care of. I tried this place thinking I was just going to get a one-time spray tan for an event, but Lenora does such a fantastic job that I keep buying packages and coming back for more. If you're on the west side and need to get your bronze on, look no further! As I was looking frantically to find a place that was good enough and not crazy pricey to get a good glow for my wedding, I came across Uvasun and I am so glad I did! I called in and spoke with Lenora who was so informative and sweet and then came in the following week. She had literally remembered a five minute convo with me from the week before and recalled exactly what I had been looking for which I was SO impressed by. When I came into the salon I got a package that worked for me and every time I've gone in, it's been such an amazing experience. The salon itself is super clean, very comfortable and offers some great amenities. My fiancè and I do our laundry across the street and came in for a tan and a glass of wine over the weekend and it was great! Megan has also been wonderful every time I've gone in as well. I just got done getting an amazing airbrush spray tan from Melinda & her trainee, Lenny. Melinda was super nice and knowledgeable, she answered any question I had. The process was quick and easy & unlike other spray tans I've received, the solution actually SMELLS good! I keep checking the mirror to see how I look and I'm already so happy with the color, it's not orange at all, there are no streaks. Around October, I received a letter from Greg (the owner) stating that because I tan more than 4 times a month (even though I pay for a monthly, UNLIMITED membership), my membership rate would be increasing from $50 to $70 a month, due to "rising electric costs." ummm... A TWENTY DOLLAR A MONTH INCREASE?! Absolutely unacceptable. Also, Kelsey (the manager and a friend of mine) quit. My friends and I cancelled our memberships and took our money elsewhere. Specifically, to At The Beach Tanning on Robertson, where I pay $20 a month for the same bed that Greg wanted to charge me $70 a month for. read more

Was so bummed that I didn't like It there . Went years ago and loved it. It is very nice what they have done to decorate the place and they seem to offer many services. Unfortunately, Now there are pretty snotty girls working (what's with the attitude ??) and it was the worst spray tan I've had. Super streaky and didn't really look much darker than I was. I did it on the darkest liquid sun, which I was told was the best and would last the longest. Luckily, it really didn't last more than 3 days. I went somewhere else, did it over and then it looked good. I've heard their airbrush custom is great, so maybe spring for that. Otherwise, I suggest buying a tube of the Jergens lotion and save yourself the money and trouble! read more

I have been spray tanning for a couple of years now and there was always something missing about the products I have used and ended up "settling" with what I got. Even though they were good, they weren't perfect. They were sticky, smelly, or the bronzers were too orange!!(which drove me crazy). When I tried UVASUN I was like OMG, this is what I have always looked for in a product all in one! Sprays light and dry, no tackiness, light beautiful bronzers, & no smell which I love! And the color develops so pretty, didn't dry out my skin and lasted a good while on my skin. Thank you LENORA for developing the perfect solution for me and treating me like royalty!!! She definitely took her time creating the perfect color I wanted, sprayed me with such detail and made me feel comfortable in the space! Whenever I am on the Westside/Hollywood area this is the only place I go for a tan. The equipment is top notch and the customer service is great. I love the fact that they offer you refreshments for absolutely no charge. If you are into facial anti-aging as I am try the Omnilux facial machine....works great!! read more

Okay- I have to share my experience with the Contour Light at UVA Sun- OMG- It Works: I was skeptical. So, I just lie there in red lights while I take a nap or watch TV for 30 minutes and I can lose 5-10 pounds? Suuure. But Greg at UVA Sun had so much enthusiasm for this new device, and offered a great monthly deal, I thought- why not try it? I had recently put on 6-7 pounds from happy weight of falling in love. I thought, I'll lose it when I try, no problem. Um- I didn't lose it. For SIX months I carried an extra 4 lbs I never used to have, and nothing was working. I finally surrendered to the fact that this must be 36, that I lost my metabolism, and I'd have to wear a MuMu at my wedding to hide the new tummy I was sporting. Enter the contour light from UVA Sun. After one try, I dropped a pound. Coincidence? Maybe. I wavered back and forth between still eating ice-cream, and dropping a pound when I did the contour light. For the first 5 tries I was like, this is nice, I appreciate the one pound loss I get the day after my Contour Lights, but I'm not sure if it's a miracle worker or not. Then omg- about 7 tries in, the weight started to slough off. I'm now writing this post from my ideal weight of 117lbs, which is six pounds lighter than the 123 I came into the store with. My only tip- quite ice cream while you're doing it. It's worth it! read more

I've been tanning here for about three years. They have a great selection of beds for every level of tanning. The customer service is always very good and the girls behind the counter are very friendly. If you tan often I would recommend the monthly unlimited packages so you are not limited to any amount.
