This place is super cute and clean inside. Nice staff. Quick service. I got the tuna sandwich and although it is beautiful, and fresh... it's underwhelming on the flavor side. Bland. It's like they opened a can of tuna and put Mayo and that's it. I had to jazz up my sandwich with Mayo on the bread, added salt to the tuna as well as stone ground mustard and pickles. The French fries were overly salty. My boyfriend got the eggs Benedict and that too was under seasoned. Bland. For the price of my sandwich combo at 17$ something I don't think I'll ever order it again. With that being said, I would go back and give them another chance. They are so close to my house and I am in dyer need of healthy food options around here. Overall I'm not really that happy with the food, but I'm thinking perhaps we ordered the wrong items on the menu. This place is one of those staples that I've been going to the last few years. It's right around the corner from the studios which makes it super convenient. The food portions are large, service is good, and price is reasonable. Don't expect a fancy shmancy restaurant because this is the opposite. It's clean and cute. No frills, but good service. I normally order the Philly cheese steak which comes packed with onions, peppers, cheese and meat in a perfect rotated sandwich. You also have a side included, and I normally get the salad. My other norms are their Triple Decker which is one of the largest club sandwiches I've ever had. So yummy! I finally took the wife there for the first time yesterday since she was in the mood for breakfast and this place serves it until they close. She ordered the breakfast sandwich with the side of hash browns and was not disappointed. It had sausage and an over easy egg that was nice and not overcooked. WOW! I brought in one my friends today because I told him he HAD to try them out! This was my third time back and it just keeps getting better and better!! I promised the wonderful waitress that I would try something different next time I came in and let me tell you this was BOMB! I built my own breakfast sandwich which included American cheese, egg and sausage inside of a croissant!! The sandwich was ridiculously good and the fried potatoes on the side were amazing as well with the onions and peppers!! They are such good people here and are all working incredibly hard and fast every time I am there. Please give them a try you will not be disappointed at all. And one thing for every customer to remember, if you go into a business and see how busy they are, please keep in mind that your food will take a little longer than usual to come out, and if you still decide to get mad over that fact, then you really really need to grow up! It had been a favorite before all this current virus, so we ordered it for pickup and honestly it was as good as we remembered. Nice layers of egg, bacon, cheese (we order it easy on cheese) and crispy hash browns, topped with a really good green salsa sauce and avocado. We usually ask for a bit of extra sauce it's so tasty. Perhaps because it wasn't one of their pre-organized omelette it wasn't as good as it looked. I really enjoyed their country potatoes! The toast came with little or no butter, which I thought was great! Toast should always come with no butter added... ask for it, if you want it. Everything came out to be around $40...decent prices. To be frank though, comparing to other restaurants, i would give the food 3/5. The omelete was just like any other omelete, so was the egg benedict and the french toast. The french toast was okay. I had an amazing french toast last week at another restaurant, and it's quite hard at this point for any other french toast to beat the one i had IMHO. Service was awesome though, everyone was super nice and the food came out quickly so i give an extra star for that! Three generations of women can't be wrong: "This is hands down the best french toast I've ever had." I mean, that's a lot of french toast consumed between myself, my mom and her great aunt over the many years, so that's as powerful a statement as one could ever make about a breakfast staple. I'm assuming they use Texas toast, as there's a distinct crunch factor you don't get from regular diner french toast, and that's what this place is, so while expectations were low based on its aesthetic (which is dumb, seeing as we all know we shouldn't judge a book by its well-loved cover), but it's not that the dish sort of exceeded expectations, it damn well broke the roof off the expectation house. And, the best part is that the french toast was just the start of our meal. It was just a shared dish to nibble on while the rest of our group arrived (the staff was very sweet to give us a table before all of us arrived and put up with us well after we had paid the check)...everyone got entrees, as well.
