Amazing place, great service and quality food. Before coming to this restaurant I went to another restaurant to get some breakfast. I was told we had to wait 2 hours. I immediately started looking for another place to eat and thankfully I found V Boulevard café. Even though they were busy I was seated right away and the food was served 5-10 minutes after I ordered. The food portions was enormous and mouth watering good. Our waiter was amazing and was sweating from working so hard. I give this place 10 stars. This is truly a hidden gem. Decided on this cafe based on pictures from Yelp. We were so tired of hotel breakfasts and we wanted to try something local. You should not miss an opportunity to eat here! Walking in it was so difficult for me to decide what I wanted to eat because everyone's food around me looked so amazing. I ended up building my own omelet with delight. This is a great, little spot for breakfast or brunch that has been open for about 18 months. The surrounding area is not much to look at, but the friendly service and food is worth the visit. Once arriving, the owner cheerfully greeted us and sat us immediately. Our server was pleasant and attentive. There are a variety of savory and sweet options from which to choose. Prices may seem a bit high, but the portions are very generous. The boulevard breakfast special ($8.95) is served with 2 eggs any style, choice of protein, potatoes, and toast. The over easy eggs were done well. The hash browns were a bit mushy and lacked flavor. The waffles ($9.95) were adorned with berries and powdered sugar (very tasty) and the dish came with 2 eggs any style and choice of protein. The bacon had a bit of a smoky flavor. The ham was sizable but not the best we've had. Our biggest complaint was that when the food arrived, it was no longer hot- as if it had been sitting for a while. This may not be a regular occurrence. Throughout our meal, coffee ($2 for regular brew) was refilled. It is a fairly strong brew that we enjoyed. We also noted that the owner was very busy cleaning and greeting and smiling. We chatted for a bit, and he seemed very proud and willing to work hard to make the business a success. This place is so hidden that I never knew it existed! I've always searched for places in Glendale and Burbank that are good for brunch and not once has this place shown up on the results! We ordered the garden omelette with no tomatoes, the create your own omelette with no avocados, and two blueberry pancakes to share. The food came out pretty quickly and my garden omelette had tomatoes in it and the other omelette came topped with avocados. We were kind of disappointed that our orders weren't done correctly but it was okay. The pancakes were good except towards the enter the batter was still raw since the pancakes were so thick. I woke up in the mood for pancakes. I ended up here because my first option hadn't opened on time like they should have. It's a nice location, but parking is tricky. There is a sign that says parking in rear but you have to go in from the street before the restaurant. There is no access when you turn down the street after you see the sign. I ended up getting the pancake breakfast. It comes with a stack of 3 thick pancakes, 2 eggs, and sausage. It's not some breakfast sausage link but 2 nice fat juice sausages. The pancakes looked amazing but they were a bit dry even when they were drenched in syrup. I think the other breakfast items may have been a better pick and worth the cost. From out of town and saw this place online. The menu looked like it had good options so we decided to give it it a try. Should have gone somewhere else. The guy in the front was by himself handling a rush of tables. As a past server I understand so we were trying to be more then patient. Drinks took a minute which wasn't a big deal. The food came out one entree out of time . Ordered a plain waffle, it came out with all the stuff I didn't want on it. So had to wait for it to come out right.
