Can't say enough good things about these guys. Courteous, tireless, knowledgeable, patient, accommodating, helpful. Above and beyond service. Gabriel came to our rescue for a slab leak repair job on a July 4th Saturday, which turned very compicated and challenging as we discovered later that the pipe's weird placement inside the ground and the tear in the pipe's casing made the leak detection extremely difficult. He stayed committed throughout, performing back-breaking work for hours in an extremely uncomfortable room w/ no windows. Until the pipe was finally discovered to be corroded beyond repair at which point I fell into a funk, as the only sensible solution would be to reroute new pipes above ground thru various walls, storage closets and a staircase, an option that my wife and I weren't too crazy about at first, time & money-wise. That's when the owner Ernesto stopped by in the middle of his busy day to personally give us the assurance and the peace of mind we needed that that was the right way to go. So we decided to pull the trigger on the reroute, and expected the work to last 2 additional days for 1 technician. Gabriel was very sensitive to our plight and aware of our frustration and showed up the next day w/ Luis, and they knocked it all out in 1 day. Amazing. First, my sister Shaun Tate gave the most authentic recommendation EVER. I have 2 baths that could not get hot water to flow from the tubs' faucets. Shaunie said "Call Ernesto. He's good and fair." Her word is gold so I went with it without the slightest pause. Left Ernesto a message, he returned my call short minutes later. Before I knew it, the gentleman was at The Honeycomb Hideout (what we call our house ). Just EXCELLENT. LIFESAVER-I had a real problem with 3 lakes under my home due to my sewer system giving out. Ernesto came to my rescue. He replaced my Entire system and kept us going during the cycle. This required close coordination with my insurance agent, restoration company, mold removal, and environment agents. His greatest asset is his communication skills and consideration for his client during the ordeal. We were without the use of a bathroom for only 3 hours on one afternoon. Quite an accomplishment !! My house in Long Beach is over 70 years old. I knew I had a leak under the house and clogged lines. I contacted V-Max, Ernesto came out, went under the house, took pictures, and quoted me a price for a complete repipe and new drain lines. I'm retired now, but I was employed by a neighboring city working in Building and Safety, so I had an idea on how much this work was going to cost. I was VERY pleased with Ernesto's quote. We had V Max come out to do an installation of a water softener tank. First of all, Ernesto came out very promptly and gave us an estimate of the work. He was very professional and a friendly guy. We set up a date for them to come in and do the work. Ernesto and Jose both were prompt and did the installation as they described. Vmax/Ernesto is what a quality contractor should be. Very efficient, quality work, reasonable pricing and very pleasant to deal with. He not only helped with a hook up in the house but also did some repair work on the pool. I had tried to get a pool company to come out and fix the problem but scheduling was an issue. Not with Vmax.
