I called Vmax to fix a clogged line for a rental unit. The first plumber I called quit after he found out it was a more complicated situation. This left with me in a crappy situation with unhappy tenants and a disgusting problem. Vmax came out within the time frame they designated, assessed and ended up fixing the problem. What seemed to be a clogged toilet turned out to be a massive undertaking. It turned out to be root infested pipes deep into the sewer line. They used cameras, dug two ditches that were over 7 ft deep and literally got to the root of the problem. I ended up having a sleeve inserted into the pipe to fix the damage and keep roots from invading the line again. They worked tirelessly for days until my problem was solved. They didn't give up like the first plumber I called. They were professional, punctual and most importantly they took pride in their work. Pros: I am very happy with their work. The price was reasonable. They are a family owned. Cons: None. If I have any other plumbing issues, I'll be calling them. read more

Gabriel was prompt in returning my call. I needed a new water heater but the old one was crammed into a corner of the garage and was not code compliant in a couple of ways. He explained that he would have to raise the platform and to vent it differently to meet code. After much research on finding a replacement that would fit the tiny space, he got there early one morning and went to work. He had to open up drywall and stucco to vent it differently but the end result was a beautiful, very professional finish! I would highly recommend him. read more

Horrible!!!!! I called Ernesto to have my bathroom sink valve repaired. I don't know why he sawed off pipes, cut hoses, then left a pile of the parts on my bathroom floor!!! I'm livid!!!!! I had an emergency gas shut off by SoCal gas and had been calling around for someone to come out. I originally went with a different plumber and was set to go until the day before the original plumber called and cancelled, which then sent me into scramble mode to find someone to come out on a Saturday. Ernesto was quick to return my call and was able to accommodate my last minute appointment on a Saturday. Ernesto's pricing was fair and reasonable, he did a leak detection test and was by far the cheapest (excellent work) and didn't charge premium rates for coming out on a weekend. Once he did the test and determined what the issues was, he gave me a quote and if I chose to go with him, the leak detection fee was waived. I ended up going with Ernesto for the fix. I set an appointment for the following Friday (although he could have came sooner) and his team arrived on time and finished ahead of schedule. Not being a plumber, I honestly couldn't tell what work was done since it was in the attic and behind walls, but they do guarantee their work for a year and biggest thing was, the gas company came out and re- inspected everything. My house passed and gas was turned back on. Ernesto being a licensed contractor was another reason I decided to go with him as I knew there was a leak between the walls and would need it patched and using him would save me the hassle of finding someone to patch a small hole. There was a little miscommunication on when it would be patched as I knew he couldn't give me a quote until they opened the wall, but I thought I would be able to get a quote and have it patched the same day. I spoke to Mira at the office and we will be setting up an appointment to get this fixed. Overall I'm very pleased with the service I've received from Ernesto and his team. I will be using him for any future issues along with my brother-in-law who was there the whole time as work was being completed and also liked their professionalism and work. read more

I must say Ernesto and V Max came through for my family once again. This is the 2nd time I have used V Max and I highly, highly recommend them. We had a leak under our sink and a leak in our ceiling. Ernesto looked at the sink leak and immediately saw that it was not screwed on tight and fixed it right away. The ceiling leak was quickly diagnosed and he replaced the pipe where there was a pin prick leak. We found the ceiling leak over the weekend and it was getting worse day by day. Needed to have gas line checked for leaks and subsequently put in new gas lines from meter to single bedroom apartment above garage. V-Max was quick to respond to my request and set up an appointment for Angel to test for leaks. Because Angel identified the problem to be a leak from the portion of the gas line under ground (under cement), the best solution was to install new gas lines above ground. Angel explained our options, provided the estimate and performed the work on the scheduled dates. It was easy to work with V-Max and their communication about the job was excellent. Angel was professional, understood the nature of the job, very understanding about our needs to coordinate the repair work with all parties affected (i.e., owner, multiple tenants, etc.), was very conscientious about his work and did a great job. It was Wednesday night, we had our toilets, tub and shower drain clogged. I searched for emergency plumbing services and V-Max plumbing was the first to respond and dispatched Johnny. He came to our house an hour later from another call, he seems professional and knowledgeable with his work. He started the work right away trying to clear the clogged until about 2:00 am, but regular snake couldn't take the clog out. He said he needs to come back with longer plumbing snake and camera. He came back the next morning (although late as he promised) found some roots, unfortunately, the clogged seems stubborn and location so deep that he had to add drain clean-out outside the house for easy jetting and future access. They clear the clogged (with assistant digging soil for new clean-out) and put our toilets, tub and shower up and running by Friday. The entire project was completed by Monday. I could have given 5 stars review if the project finished earlier as promised. Other than the timing Johnny did a great job! Thank you for your help! read more

V-Max did a terrific job of re-piping the entire plumbing for my 76-year-old house! The cost was very reasonable, and Ernesto and his crew were amazing. I called VMAX for a toilet install which also required reworking the drain pipe going from a wall mounted toilet to floor mounted toilet.I would give VMAX an A+++ grade for great service. After calling VMAX, I received a call back from the plumber Adrian who promptly came out for a free estimate and then came out the next day to complete the job. Reworking the supply and drain lines was a lot of work and Adrian worked into the evening to make sure everything was perfect. An all around professional operation. read more
